I used them once and they did a decent job. I used them a second time. And they scuffed up a base board in our new house, dented our fridge, and when they sent someone to fix it he made it 10 times worse. They also broke an entertainment center and tried to hide it. Then just left it like that. They said they'd replace it, but never followed up and just thought I'd forget. Needless to say, don't use them unless you like your items to get messed up and broken. For a smaller move (1 bedroom, sofa, and coffee table) they were fair with pricing and agreed to a 2 hour minimum that I stayed within range of. Good response time and i like how they are very professional and respect our home and furnitures. The only cons i notice is they take their time wrapping each furniture with plastic to protect them even though it doesn't need to be wrap. This extend the time they are working and since the service is per hour they take their time in working. I have to be involve and start moving furnitures to help them speed up the process. I estimate the move to last for 3 hrs but the move services took almost 5.5 hrs. some customer will find this not a big deal. So i'm giving their service 4 star since everything else went smoothly. I notice one of my sofa screws were missing and when i call them to ask the movers they were able to describe where they put them and how to connect the sofa accurately. I can not say enough amazing things about his company! I'm a Property Manager, and have use so many movers. But I have say this is the best I've ever used. I had originally went with another person who was horrible and had let him go before he even started. In my desperate panic state, I stumbled across this company. I called and was quoted immediately. And they were able accommodate me within the hour!! The 3 men who came immediately started packing all my items and were done very quick. I was so over my move from my terrible morning, I didn't even care I didn't package my items correctly. They were more worried about my items then I was. And packaged my items so it wouldn't break. I definitely recommend this company.I'm originally from California and never have had a moving company that cared has much as they did. Also make sure tip your movers. read more

Terrible service, 6.5 hrs late on move day and of course couldn't finish the move by midnight, was supposed to come back next day then cancelled at last minute, still over charged us, caused damage which they never paid for, I NEVER spoke to the owner even though requested many times, just some lady in office who threatened getting an attorney if we didn't pay up. Adan did response to messages promptly. However, everything went downhill fast the day of the move. They called to say the movers would be early, so I rushed home. They showed up an hour and a half after. They worked fast loading the truck, that's about all I can say that's positive. Their moving truck broke down on 288. We left after them and stopped to get something to eat, we ended up passing them as they were in the emergency lane with their hazard lights flashing. No one called me until an hour later when they said the guys were stopping for diesel. I asked about the breakdown and she brushed it off saying they needed water for the truck. She assured me I would not be charged for the time. My son and I arrived at the new place and it was an hour and 20 min before they showed up. They unloaded everything, and it became very clear why they were so fast loading. Many items of furniture were damaged. I took pictures as they continued unloading. When the time came to settle the account, they tried to charge me for the time they were broken down. We went back and forth. Finally they took 45 min off but that was it. As for the damaged items, I sent the pictures, they sent their "specialist" out to look at the damages in person and then set up a time for the repairs. To date, no one has ever shown up to repair. Both appointments made by them, were a no show. Now, no one is responding to messages. I would never use this company again and . You get what you pay for and it's definitely not worth it. read more

I used these movers when they were first starting out. They booked me last minute the night before the move. At first, they TEXT me after 10:30 PM to cancel. After begging them to reconsider they called the owner and they did show up for our move. The next time I called for a move, our move fell through, I gave them 5 days notice that we were cancelling. They were thankful for the notice. The last time I booked an appointment with them they, again, cancelled last minute. According to the lady on the phone and text, this was the owner's idea. They had confirmed my appt TWICE before calling the day before to cancel. They tried getting us in mid-morning, but it didn't work for our schedules (which is why I booked them at a particular time). I really liked the guys that came out to help us. I suggest having a back-up mover just in case the owner feels like cancelling your appt the night before. read more

My movers were very professional, polite, and efficient! Jose and his moving partner (I didn't get his name) were amazing! I didn't measure my furniture and when it came time to bring in my large sectional piece it didn't fit through the door. I started having a meltdown and Jose thought quickly on his feet and saved the day with an out of the box suggestion! The only inconvenience that I experienced was that I was told on the day of my move that my movers had to be rescheduled because it rained that morning. That is the only reason I took away 1 star. I would absolutely recommend them and I will be using them again for my next move. read more

The movers showed up on time to move us to our new location. The 3 guys were young & 1 of them seemed to be a bit inexperienced with the process of how to lift & move furniture out the house to the truck or the furniture was too heavy for him. We noticed damage on the wall leading out of the front door that was not there before. We were selling that house & the damage had to be fixed immediately for the new owner. We contacted Polancos & spoke with a lady that answered the phone & told her what happened. She stated that she would call us back to let us know when someone could come to fix the damage. She LIED to us & no one ever called to follow up about the damage. This is not a good way to do business. We understand accidents happen. Polancos movers were prompt and efficient. Three movers arrived to my home and it took them approximately 4 hours to move a 4 bedroom 2 story house into a storage unit. Although they charge by the hour they're really working at a rapid pace while ensuring that nothing is damaged. They stacked everything neatly in the storage unit while still being accessible if needed. Punctual , good service, reasonable price. Does not have fees , they have a fixed price per hours does not charge for drive time and can do multiple destination and trips. They only charge for time unloading and loading. We requested a quote on Christmas Day and same day someone called us and had moving set up for New Year's Eve. It was raining a lot but they were still able to get the job done . Price is very competitive. They also said they have covid test proof if we needed it . I would not book Polanco movers ever again. I booked them for a move for today, 01/20/22. Everything had been set, she sent me a last minute document for consent forms the night before my move. 1 hour and 30 minutes before they are supposed to arrive, and call to cancel because the weather is "too cold" the weather currently is only 45 degreees. I personally wouldn't trust them to book any move. it they can't move apartments because of cold weather, imagine what other excuses they can come up with. now I am left with no movers, and am going to have to pay tons to have someone come out today.
