I first have to say it's a Lakeside small restaurant. Very cute location and a very cute storefront, the service was fantastic and very attentive, the food was fantastic. The pierogies were very tasty. They Kabasa we had multiple types. The potato pancakes are to die for and again, the attention was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

We had a great meal at this cute little polish restaurant. It is set up as a very informal sandwhich shop but the menu is highly unusual and the food is delicious. This is a family owned and operated establishment and you can tell by the service- which is all with a lot of love. We had pierogies, soup, and kielbasa and it was all amazing. Also be sure to check out all their freshly baked pastries. We had a poppy seed danish and a piece of cranberry cake with whipped cream. If we lived closer we would go here a lot!

Kielbasa is juicy and well seasoned -- not dry, fatty, or over peppered like so many places get wrong.

They are the most expensive dunkin in a 100 mile radius, it's disgusting. They up charge every little thing, and all of their menu items seem to be 30+ cents more than any other! At this point, they're just robbing us I've posted images of my order from this location (first pic) COMPARED to the EXACT SAME ORDER from the one on Honesdale (second pic). $1.45 difference!!! At this point, I'll just shop at a local business and go to the Honesdale Dunkin location when I'm out shopping. They're nicer anyways!!

The owner named paula then began getting aggressive with a employee to a very unprofessional degree coming up with false accusations such as lying about a employee threatening the owner named paula even though all the employee stated was she wanted to talk and the store owner named paula didn't let the employee express what they had to say and refused to listen and even falsely claimed that the employee that wanted to speak "if she had a problem with her because she feels threatened"...... the employee simply wanted to talk to her boss but didn't allow her employee to speak which shows poor management. The owner basically walks in and just yells at everyone then had that unnecessary conversation and even calling the cops ‍. The store owner named paula also takes employees tips if registers are short on count which is very illegal and i don't know how they still haven't had anyone report this but here I am now exposing the owner. The owner also allowed her manager at the time named jay who was sleeping with a employee Kate happen for awhile until a Facebook post released by Kate's husband exposed the affair and now the store is being ran without any management and people do as they want in this store. I am a regular here and this is very very immature and as I'm aware Paula also owns the other 2 Dunkin's one being in Milford and matamoras. But if that's who my boss is I wouldn't want this person representing any franchise anywhere especially a huge franchise like Dunkin. Paula completely tarnished the name of dunkin in this store and goes to show she does not care about the franchise name or her employees because she doesn't even know how to manage anything.

Fortunately I was in a group and we were able to split a half dozen donuts so that we could try a few different flavors. My favorite was the canoli and the Nutella maple. Donerds Donuts is a locally owned small business that's well worth a stop when you're visiting Jim Thorpe. I learned that the owners met in Chile, where they were inspired to start a donut and coffee food truck. They sold their handcrafted donuts from a vintage VW bus on the streets of Santiago before eventually bringing their passion to Pennsylvania. Today, they have two locations, and I had the pleasure of visiting the Jim Thorpe shop. The storefront is charming, welcoming, and has a few seats where you can relax and enjoy your treats with a fresh cup of coffee. Best of all, everything is made fresh on-site. Their display case is filled with an impressive selection of classic and specialty donuts, along with colorful macarons, French toast cinnamon rolls, flaky croissants, and a full lineup of coffee drinks ranging from lattes to iced coffees. Honestly...wow! Deciding what to order wasn't easy. Since it was already midday, I kept it simple and went with a Boston Cream donut. It was incredibly fresh, light, and filled with rich, creamy custard, then topped with a smooth layer of chocolate. Absolutely delicious! A special shout-out to Sarah, who made the visit even better. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain the different donuts and macarons. Everything she described sounded amazing, and she definitely had my mouth watering. I had to show some self-control or I would've walked out with half the display case! She was fantastic. If you're spending the day in Jim Thorpe, do yourself a favor and make a stop at Donerds Donuts. Grab a coffee, treat yourself to one (or a few) fresh donuts, say hello to Sarah, and support a wonderful local business. I know I'll be back the next time I'm in town.
