This is a deli just off 441in Leesburg area It's a small location in a pretty empty shopping center. I went on a Saturday morning. As I understand, that's when they put out fresh meat. Prices were ok. I bought the food Togo so I haven't tried it yet. Many choices. Even though I'm Italian I did live in Cleveland where there's a large Polish contingent. I love me some Kielbasa. Only bummer is they sell commercial pierogi . Was hoping for some fresh made Pierogi. read more

Authentic, Polish Food! So glad I found this place. The staff is super helpful. I had the garlic kielbasa and the kielbasa grillers. Both were excellent. I like to broil the grillers and eat them with sunny side up eggs (try it - you won't be disappointed!). I also got a few jars of the Horseradish Beet Sauce - basically grated beets with horseradish, vinegar and sugar. My family use to make this for the holidays and I missed it so much. We put it in a big bowl and put hard boiled eggs in the bowl so they get purple. Then you eat it as a side - a few spoons of the grated beets and a hard boiled egg, broken up into the beets. So yummy! Definitely brought me back to my roots. I was talking about the horseradish recipe with one of the staff and said I didn't have the recipe anymore and both my parents have passed. She had a copy of it on a post it note in the back and let me take a picture of it. I literally cried when I got to my car. Thank you for helping me get our family tradition started again! The ladies were very friendly. I got both the medium garlic and the spicy kielbasa. The medium garlic was a huge hit with the rest of the family, but the spicy really made the meal for me. She warned that it was very spicy, and unlike 99.99% of similar warnings this really did have some kick. I can't wait until my next visit down. read more

Somewhat disappointing. I would not call it a full time Polish delicatessen. I was looking for more variety but supplies were pretty slim. No Krakow which is a staple back in the Midwest. Please support your local businesses. My mother loves this place. It's true authentic Polish items with nice Polish women working behind the counter. Pierogies are kept in a back freezer so ask for them. Some days you'll be lucky and hit it when poppyseed and nut babka and kolaches are delivered. Great little deli in Leesburg. The two ladies who run this are very nice and helpful. They always ask if you know how to cook it, and if not, they will tell you how. All the sausages are very good. The perogies are good, and I am trying different ones every time I go. The Hunter's Stew is very good, as well as the cabbage rolls. Just brought home cheese blintzes, so we will see how they are. I'm sure they will be good too. Stop by and try some new things. You won't be disappointed. read more

I had a hankering for some authentic Germanic comfort food so I tried the Polish Deli in Leesburg. Absolutely delicious! The smoked kielbasa with garlic, the sauerkraut with tiny pieces of carrot and the stuffed cabbage were all excellent! We usually have to bring back good kielbasy from NJ (Continental Provisions) when we visit since most places here import their kielbasy from other areas. We have been looking here since relocating 8+ years ago and had vaguely heard about this location. We finally bit the bullet and made the 45 minute drive (stopped at Yalaha on the way back, killing two birds with one stone) This location makes their kielbasy in-house. There are also other butcher products. There are pierogi for sale but I thought they were a bit pricey; besides, my wife makes her own and they are delicious. There are also other Polish products on the shelves. includingnut cake, etc. We opted for the medium garlic kielbasy as we did not know what to expect. It was a heavy grind and the sausage was fatter and thicker (like the NJ location we used to go to) than what most locations sell. We boil our kielbasy and it was very good wiha large grind rather than a fine grind. It appears to be the fatty chunk style (which I dislike) but it not and has a good consistency. The skin was not tough and was edible. The flavor was good and garlic not overpowering;in fact next visit we will get the heavy garlic which I can only assume is more in keeping with what I grew up with (my maternal grandfather was a butcher). We totally enjoyed this kielbasy, had it with horseradish and sauerkraut (their sauerkraut is imported from another location and was dry as all the liquid was taken out), as well as with my wife's homemade pierogi, sour cream, and one of the loaves of Babka we make,from our freezer. The trip was certainly worthtwhile and we can hardly wait to try their other products. A great find! read more

Love this place! The ladies are superb. Everything is tasty, well seasoned. There's plenty variety for whatever your tastebuds desire. They have assorted sausages, deli meats, some jarred goods, and dumplings. The best! The blood and tongue, spicy headcheese, fresh brats, smoked liverwurst... if you buy fresh brats, boil in cheap beer, onion, garlic, peppercorns, and bay leaf then grill. Make some chicken/veg soup?
