I have been going all the way to Ellicott City to get my nails done. One of my neighbors referred this location to me which is much closer. I didn't have an appointment. So I waited about 20 minutes or so for a pedicure. The rates are reasonable. I was pleased with my pedicure. Plan on returning to see how they will do my nails. If I am pleased this will be my new nail shop. It's located in the shopping center with the BJs. read more

If you're going for a wax, don't do it. I waited a while to get my lip waxed in a salon properly after having horror stories of home waxing gone wrong. I should have tweezed at home instead. I went to the salon and had my upper lip waxed by one of the owners. The technician did an area which did not have any real hair on it and the section I wanted done. Almost immediately I noticed a dozen bumps on my lip, the results of what is either a first degree burn or a severe irritation from the waxing. (Yes, I've had my face waxed successfully many times.) That was Friday. I'm treating the bumps every day and am still working to heal my face the following Wednesday. I have to wear cover up for my Zoom calls. The technician has done many waxing jobs. I'm sure this isn't the first major botch and probably won't be the last. read more

I had some time to kill before a flight home and happened upon this salon in a shopping center with tons of parking. They were able to take me as a walk-in for a mani and pedi. They were very nice, and they use individual packaged sterilized tools for each patron. I was having such a nice time that I added on a facial. They offer a seven step LumiSpa facial using NuSkin products and a cool AgeLoc tool. The facial was fantastic! Total for all my Services was $95 and I felt like that was such a great value! I will not return. I left in pain. I've gotten dip powder from many places but not once have I left with my fingers hurting. I was cut and bled, and now both of my pinkies are swollen and red. Half of my ring finger wasn't even covered with dip & a chunk was taken out, I put regular polish over it because I couldn't deal. The polish doesn't even go up to my cuticles. My cuticles look awful and messy. If you can't do dip, don't offer the service?? There was no one behind me, no one waiting. She had plenty of time. I just moved and have been trying to find a regular spot, and this will NOT be it. The people were nice and the place is clean, but the manicure itself is the worst I've gotten. They take walk-ins and appointments, I personally make an appointment. The pedicure is superb, the calf massage and hot towel feels amazing on my skin not to mention my polish lasts. My gel fills are awesome and love all the variety of colors available. The salon is very clean, staff is attentive to your needs and offer you soda or water while making your experience there relaxing. Nice shop and good conversation with the husband/owner and that's about it. This was our first visit . They do not do a good job on dip nails or pedicures. It's no way that dip nails should chip or crack so easily in under 7 days. I went here recently with my mom for pre day birthday mani/pedis before my bday trip. Within maybe 5 days I saw some lines thru 2 nails I thought hmm maybe it was something I did. When we got back from our trip my mom was commenting that 3 of the nails on her toes the paint was completely off. I actually called and Nancy who did her toes says it may depend on the way she was walking or the way the shoe was rubbing. No ma'am! Not true .. lol so the other many places she's been to and it's been many.. this hasn't ever been the case. We were going to go back to fix that issue and a nail that she broke when she fell but they were booked and we decided to go else where when I saw that a few more of my own nails were cracking more and one almost completely off. This was my second visit here and I have to say I'm disappointed. It was rushed and sloppy work I will not be going back. 1/1/19 I decided to update my review as two weeks later one of the nails fell off. Now if anyone that has their nails done knows that these nails are supposed to last three weeks and are pain to get off in the first place they should not be falling off on their own. Well I normally don't complain but this was probably one of the worst nail experiences I've had.... They charged me extra money to take off my nails for a new set which I never asked for, they charged me money for coffin shape which again I never asked for... I like my nails oval shape and now my nails are all pointy. I also got a pedicure and it wasn't the greatest one I've received. They hurt me... I have cuts on my toes and my fingers and I'm hoping I don't get an infection for them. Just an overall unpleasant experience and for the money o spent I was expecting more. I won't be back. Nice salon. First visit went well, I asked the nail technician to plz be gentle because normally my cuts get infected. Second time I went I got a different person, made the mistake of not asking her to be careful and man do I regret it. I got a pedicure and nails done and came home with so many cuts and one looks to be getting bad! Fingers crossed it doesn't get infected. She rushed with me. When I showed her my big cut she just said "Oh yeah it was the nail filer" and kept going like nothing. If I decide to go back I will definitely avoid going there. read more

I got my nails done here on Saturday 27th Sept. By Friday 1st Oct, my nail polish had chipped and peeled off one nail. By Tuesday three of my nails had peeled and chipped almost completely. I spoke to the manager who told me to come in so he could take a look ....6 days after a full fill in, there's no reason why i should need to be contacting the shop or coming in for any reason. I get to the shop show him my nails and he says i can come another time for a fix. According to him i should walk around with my nails looking the way they are. I've been here 3 times now. First time was 3/5 - bit of a wait, but they were polite about it. Second time was 5/5 - short wait and she did an excellent job on my toes! They were beautiful. Today is a 1/5. I had a 5pm appointment. At 5:25pm I asked if I would be seen soon, otherwise I would leave and come back. She said I should expect to wait 10-20 min when I have an appointment because sometimes people take longer than expected. Huh? Maybe 5-10 min but 25 min at this point?? What's the point of making an appointment?? No apology either. Finally an attendant comes and starts my pedi, apologizes for the wait. I used to come to this nail salon all the time. I absolutely loved it. Until, I got a staph infection from used/ dirty tools. Nancy, (management at salon) and also the lady who did my pedicure was extremely rude and uncooperative when I came back to tell her what happened. She told me that the doctor was WRONG (that I didn't have a staph infection) made a scene in the nail salon, and THEN gave me a refund. read more

This was highly recommended by someone in my building. I think not. I got manicure/pedicure combo. Manicures should last minimum of 3-4 days usually a week. This did not even last 24 hours. When I went back they said, "You did not get gel manicure, they last, regular does not." I don't think so. Gave me attitude, polished over the nails. Guess what? Last night, polish was coming off again. You tell me, $45 for a mani/pedi and they tell me I got cheap manicure, plus I gave a $9 tip? F---k them!! I paid less in NY and it lasted a lot longer, besides all they did was talk about me in Korean behind my back? stay away!! Tan does my nails all the time and they always look great! They have a lot of gel colors to choose from. The shop is very clean and quiet. This is the only place I've seen use a plastic cover on the pedi bowl. The prices are very reasonable and worth it. I've never had a problem.
