I ordered a quarter piece of chicken and it still came with all the fixings (rice, tortillas, cabbage, etc). He gave me a piece of dark meat which I'm not a fan of but it was still good. Wasn't a big fan of the rice, expected a little more flavor and different texture. Nothing you can't overlook for the price. It's a hole in the wall, no air conditioned building. The chicken is out of this world, and you get tortillas, rice, salsa, and coleslaw all for $8! (Yes, a whole chicken--which was too much for my husband and I). We tried another fire roasted chicken joint across the street, but it was more expensive and not nearly as good as Pollo Bronco. They keep the chicken in a cooler after cooking, which probably accounts for losing most of the crispness. We had no trouble finishing up a whole chicken. The chicken is perfect classic mexican BBQ chicken. Which is just about all they serve here. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the sides that come with the chicken are so so.
