If it wasn't for the food,I would've given this place 0 stars.I had a terrible experience at this Pollo Campero location today with my mom.Only one cashier working and they were a few people ahead of us,so it took a while to place our order.When we finally were able to place our order,what we wanted they didn't have which was a disappointment but also our cashier was being rude to us.I downloaded the app & got a free $6 3 piece chicken deal with a drink purchase and I decided to use it here but it wasn't working for some reason even when I just downloaded it.The cashier was trying to blame us saying there is something wrong with our phone but we kept telling her there must be something wrong with the system.We kept asking her to let us talk to the manager to figure out the problem but she kept telling us "no i don't need to cuz I know what I'm talking about." SO RUDE! When the manager did come,she told us there must've been something wrong with the system which was obvious from the start.We just forget about the promo since nobody wanted to assist us further and just paid for our food.The food was good at least.The fried chicken was flavorful and the yuca was cooked good.My mom ordered the grilled chicken and it was cooked & seasoned well and the corn salad was very tasty.However,I'm not coming back to this location again cuz of the awful customer service.Do yourself a favor and AVOID this location & go to the other locations like Manassas or Springfield. read more

Don't come here. It was decent for a few weeks once it opened but has consistently disappointed since. Portions are small as well. If you're looking for a latin chicken spot, you're better off going to king pollo down the road (if in the area) or Paulitas Chicken in Stafford( if heading south on 95). The chicken's seasoning and flavor is much really as good as the Pollo Campero I've had in El Salvador, & the portion sizes are smaller here than in Central America, And considering how it's priced I expect a pretty good sized piece of chicken. Other then that, this place is good. I love the fried yuca, different than how some other places serve it, a lot softer. Cool idea with the drive thru as well. I'm so glad I found this I-95 food stop with family - it was cheaper than sit down restaurants but our extended family of 12 left feeling satiated without spending a fortune ($80 bill). I liked their fried chicken (crispy, fresh and tasty) more than the grilled chicken (dry). The sides were good, fries were like Mickey d's (thin, freshly cooked), fried plantains were good, they also include soft rolls with the family meals and I like them way better than KFC's rock hard biscuits. I didn't like any of the exotic beverages we tried (guava, and horchata which is a vanilla/cinnamon drink). The customer service was good too, the manager was attentive but the cashier looked bored in her job . Their empanadas were good too but I wish they had pork or beef & not just chicken. I stopped here out of curiosity...it reminded me of the chicken restaurant in Breaking Bad...lol. I saw empanadas on the menu and it looked good--that's really what I wanted. When I was telling her what I wanted she looked at me and turned her face and talked to my boyfriend in Spanish asking him what he wanted first. Talk about rude! Please don't eat here. I had a Groupon. Turns out it was only good for Manassas, not Woodbridge but I ordered anyway. Fried chicken breast and thigh were ok but smaller pieces were so over cooked. Slaw is tasteless, yuca is dry as a bone. No sauces. I had to wait while they made the corn salad for me. I got about a 1/3 of a cup of salad for 2.59! It had no taste. What a rip off. I am very displeased with the amount of time and lack of attention the staff have at this location. We called ahead at this location to confirm that they had grilled chicken, and they did tell us yes. When we arrived, we had placed our order with Zulma for our 24 piece family meal. We had been waiting for over half an hour for our meal only for it to be incorrect. We have an insulin dependent person in our family that had to wait half an hour to only have to wait more time for them to bring the incorrect items out to us. The manager came to address the problem with us but made the issue about them not selling grilled chicken very frequently which has nothing to do with us. We asked for a solution because at this point it is 8 of us who are extremely disappointed and hungry and now angry. She offered to give us a 15% discount as it will be an additional 30 hour at minimum before we will be able to get our food. With an insulin dependent individual, we cannot put this person's health at risk because of their incompetency. I asked for a full refund and the food we ordered as well if we have to wait another whole half hour which the manager seemed to not understand the concept that they really messed up our entire evening. Please ensure that you TRIPLE check your order if you decide to visit this place. They also do not bother to maintain the environment safe. I almost slipped on soda that had been on the floor that they deemed that instead of cleaning, they would just place a wet caution sign over. Horrible service, even worse environment. read more

This place could have had 5 stars from me but unfortunately the workers there make it hard to give it a 5 star. The food is absolutely tasty and I like this place very much but unfortunately everytime I go here I remember why I haven't been there in a while. Everytime I come here my friend and I go to the drive through and order 2 meals. The Hispanic ladies always act like they pay for the sauce out of their pockets or something . You should at least be allowed to have 2 sauces for each order to put on ur food. The sauce gives it the flavor! But when I ask for one sauce they always have an attitude and say it's 25 cents like really what the heck? ! How can you be so stingy about a damn sauce.
