    Salad. Bland

This location on Torrance Blvd and Anza where the old KFC used to be. This location has better tasting food and better service than the Hawthorne Location. I've been here a few times and the chicken are bigger and juicier! I always get their family meal of whole chicken with 2 sides. Sides are very limited selections so we always with fries and rice, or salad with bland house dressing. It also comes with a large chicken rice soup which is delicious. I always add a Pollo Saltado juicy. The green sauce is delicious but it's SOOO SPICY!! Could you make one thats not spicy please??? :-( I'm looking forward to visit this location more often since it's closer, food tastes better and cleaner, and faster service.

First off, the exterior of the place is pretty cool; kinda has an ancient old world Inkan vibe going on. That kind of set off my hunger bells to check the place out- especially their prized roasted chicken. I decided to get their combo plate which includes two sides, which was white rice and salad. I have to say, my chicken was super tender, and the seasoning was spot on. The salad was really good and was loaded up; and the rice as well. And.... my combo came with a traditional rice/chix soup and a really interesting tasting hot sauce. It's really worth checking out if you want honestly good food under $20. The service was excellent and the place was super clean. Worth a visit.

Ay yo! I love me some El Pollo Inka. But do you know what's better than El Pollo Inka? You guessed it, El Pollo Inka EXPRESS!!! Yessir, just like what you normally get but way faster and dare I say, better! More consistent, saltier(that's a plus for me), and I think a little better value too. Self serve soda machine, do I need to say more? Oh yeah, they have a Lomo torta too.

Amazon and affordable meal for lunch. You can get a meal for under $15. Staff if friendly and the place is clean. Definitely one one of my favorite spots in Torrance .

Stopped here for the first time since they have been open. First off it's nothing like the full on restaurant and lacks flavor. The prices are way to high for what you are getting. The staff that was on when I went were friendly and accommodating since I was not sure what I wanted and had a few questions. After seasoning my own food it soon tasted ok but still not what I was expecting on flavor. I may try again just to see if they might have just missed on the seasoning.

Disappointed, my plate hardly had any chicken. Food is still tasty, but the portion size decreased.

The cilantro soup was very good but the soltado de pollo lacked flavour. It was very bland.

Don't go through the drive thru. It's terrible and I got stuck over 49 minutes waiting for two meals.

I remember when the cream sauce was thicker and a bit more flavorful and it used to literally cover the fish. Not nearly as much sauce was on my plate this time. We were only given 1 serving of tartar sauce for our calamari (which was delicious) but for 2 people, it was not enough. At $3 for another serving! Nope I could buy a whole jar at that price. Food overall was good with good service.

We were seated right away and the restaurant was mostly empty. Upon sitting, they brought out some bread to snack on, kind of like a free appetizer. Our server gave us some recommendations. I went with the oxtail fettuccine and it came out as expected! Though, some oxtail was chewy instead of tender and the fettuccine was pretty standard. Serving sizes were huge, so all of us took home leftovers, which was nice! Kinda got 2 meals in one lol. We also got some maracuyá (passion fruit) juice that was refreshing. Just note you'll need to ask for ice on the side if you want it cold. Overall a solid spot for a chill family dinner. Would come back if I'm in the area.

The order was delayed 45 min and no one even felt bad about it. Get our order and the two whole chickens look suspiciously like one chicken. And they gave us the wrong order and when I called, the guy on the phone says it's basically the same thing. Nope. Chicken is not beef. And when I mentioned the major delay (which delayed our dinner) and the wrong item, no apology. I guess years of loving the place, I approached our disappointment with a light touch but maybe that gave them the impression I was okay with their delay, and their oversight of actually messing up our order. The prices have gone up and the quality and portion size has decreased and while I am slow to share reviews where I express my disappointment, it was such a bummer from a long beloved restaurant that I felt the need to update my 8 year old 4 star review.

The restaurant is absolutely adorable, and the decor makes you feel like you've stepped into a cozy Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing dinner. I ordered the combo with the sashimi bowl and mixed tempura. The sashimi bowl came with salmon, yellowtail, and tuna, and everything was incredibly fresh. The fish was buttery, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The tempura was just as impressive. It included shrimp, cantaloupe, potato, and shishito peppers, all fried to perfection. Everything was light, crispy, and wonderfully crunchy without feeling greasy. I especially loved the variety of vegetables paired with the shrimp. My friend ordered the soba noodles and was kind enough to share a few bites. They were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Honestly, everything we tried was fantastic. Overall, I had a great experience and can't wait to come back to try more dishes from the menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for fresh, delicious Japanese food in a cute and welcoming setting!

Or Lomo Saltado is you prefer beef which I normally do but in this case I recommend the chicken. There are 4 or 5 El Pollo Inkas in the SouthBay so its a local favorite. This review is only for the Hermosa restaurant but all the locations are great. It's located on PCH at Aviation Blvd so its pretty easy to find. There is a medium sized parking lot but it is a very busy center so parking can be difficult sometimes. We both had the Pollo Saltado which comes with a cup of chicken soup and fresh rolls. The Saltado is shredded rotisserie chicken grilled w/ onions, tomatos, french fries and is served with garlic rice. I know, I know french fries & rice but believe me it works so wonderfully. And you must drench it in the Aji sauce, it's a magical thing and I put it on everything! The staff is friendly and the store is very neat and clean. Something that extends to the parking lot which is always well lit. If you need to walk off the meal there is a Trader Joe's & Five Below in the center.
