    Torrance is the best location.
    Glen M.

Always a good choice if you like teriyaki or curry (they have burgers too if you're not into either). This Torrance location always seems to give you a more generous portions than their other locations. Even more if you ask to get it to-go. I prefer the chicken teriyaki to the beef. I prefer eating in as they have a self-serve fountain drinks. But, they have become a little stingy with the Chinese chicken salad dressing...this is a must. Their salad dressing is additive and worth ordering. Definitely get the deluxe meal so you can get the Chinese chicken salad. Definitely worth going, you might want to avoid the lunch rush hour times (if you can) as it gets crowded during the week. Enjoy!!!

Last-minute upgrade from a large salad to salad that feeds 7-10 people and I love that it was ready to go when I ordered it. #makesmewander

My favorite to go restaurant, that my kids will eat too. I am giving them an extra star from my last review for their consistent quality through the years. I always get the Teriyaki Chicken Deluxe which has a full Chinese chicken salad, rice and teriyaki chicken. I love their teriyaki seasoning so much because it has good flavor without feeling like it's a sugar rush. The salad is huge and I love it and the dressing. If there is any dressing left at the bottom then I will put my rice and teriyaki in the bowl so it will soak up the extra dressing. It is enough for two or three meals. I have started occasionally getting their burgers or chicken sandwiches and they are moist, flavorful, and inexpensive. I love that their fries are flavored with seasoned salt and will often ask for extra crispy fries. I probably order this at least twice a month. It is one of my comfort foods!

This is the Chinese Chicken Salad, and the smaller combo (side order) size, which is a meal in itself by itself.

Rascals is reliable and the portions are often sharable or able to be split into 2 separate allocated portions for two individual sized meals. This is one of the best places that gives you value in quality and quantity.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - craving some Chili Cheese Fries so stopped by to grab some on top of other food we had. I have fond memories of Rascals growing up in the South Bay area but my previous experiences were only with their teriyaki dishes and the Chinese chicken salads. The fries felt under-cooked so some pieces didn't have the best mouth feel. While the chili was good, it wasn't enough so there were empty fries at the end of the meal. Service: 5/5 - friendly and super quick service even during the end of lunch rush. Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. Value for price: 3/5 - at just under $9 for a large order of chili cheese fries, the pricing is cheaper than other locations. However, for the amount of toppings and the quality of food, it's mediocre. Would stick with the chicken/beef bowls in the future.

It's been a staple of the South Bay. You get a LOT of food. They're famous for the Chinese chicken salad and teriyaki chicken. Can't go wrong. The interior isn't fancy , it's counter service , but it's fast and healthy

I moved to the South Bay in 2010 and have been eating at rascals for over 15 years. I placed an order for their deluxe combo (beef and white meat chicken. I made the mistake of not checking my order before leaving. 1st mistake. 2nd mistake I did not check the receipt. Got home, just chicken. I had ordered their Chinese chicken salad as well. I called them to let them know I was I my way back down and would pay the difference between the chicken teriyaki and the chicken and beef combo. I was told not to worry about it and that they would have it waiting for me. I came and was greeted by a young woman who said she remembered the phone call and would take care of it for me at which time the young man who keyed it in came over but before he could do anything what I believe to be the manager inserted herself and asked me where the meal was at which point she told me she couldn't do anything because she would need to remake it. This is one of the most asinine things I have ever heard . My walk in number was 498 , I had the receipt all she had to do was key in the difference. She insisted there was nothing she could do and I explained to her again I would like to pay the difference, get my beef and go home. She had a ridiculously bad attitude. If you have issues at work, outside of work, whatever, when you work in the service industry you should know how to handle a situation like this and resolve it in a way that has the customer feeling heard and respected. All I felt was disrespected leaving anything but satisfied. I took a picture of their menu board to give you an idea how ridiculous this whole transaction was. She charged me $12.50 for a small portion of beef. For a couple of bucks more I could have had an entire meal. I thought about confronting her about it but based on how callous she was I figured the best way of dealing with it is right here. When you are in the customer service business it doesn't matter how good your food is if the service sucks. I have spent thousands of dollars here buying large orders to feed a few hundred people as well as staff lunches. This is the last time I will purchase here. Next time I will head over to El Pollo Inka instead. I forgot they have a drive through a block east of rascals. Much better choice as far as customer service and food. If I could give Rascals a zero I would. If you own this franchise/business you might want to consider customer training for your upfront management. No issue with the other points of contact I experienced. Amazing what one bad egg can do. Ho perso l'appetito

One of my favorite things to eat growing up was chili fries. Today, I decided to try RTG's chili fries. Not bad. The chili was thin but decent flavor. There was enough cheese to make it gooey.

You order inside and pick up your food at the window outside, and the whale mural surrounding the pickup window is such a fun, memorable touch. There are a couple of benches outside if you want to eat there, although I noticed most people seemed to grab their food to go. The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the Cash Burger, and it was packed with flavor. The burger was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Even a simple burger here tastes like it was made with care. The truffle Parmesan fries were another standout--crispy, flavorful, and completely addictive. We also tried two dipping sauces: the habanero cream and the chipotle. Both were delicious and added a unique twist to the burger and fries, but the habanero cream was definitely my favorite. It's not often you find sauces that elevate an already great meal this much. My only suggestion would be to improve the outdoor seating area. The benches could use a little more attention, and having a better trash setup would make eating outside much more enjoyable. One thing that really sold me was my one-year-old. She absolutely devoured the burger! I usually have to work to get her to eat anything besides quesadillas, and even In-N-Out can be hit or miss with her, so that says a lot. Overall, I'm so glad we stopped here. Between the amazing food, fun atmosphere, and beach-town vibe, I'd happily go out of my way to come back. If you're anywhere nearby, don't miss this spot!

Their burgers are pretty good, although I feel they were even better in the past. I used to go to their Lomita location (which has since become a different restaurant), and I remember the burgers being served on brioche buns that really stood out in taste. I'm a big fan of fresh-made burgers rather than fast-food style places, and I don't mind paying a bit more for something made fresh. Their menu has great options overall, and the lunch box is a solid value for the price. The homemade onion rings are especially good. The only issue I consistently have with this location is the fries. I've never received crispy fries here. There is now an option to request "crispy / well-done" fries when ordering online, but it doesn't apply to all menu items, and it still doesn't seem consistent. What I usually receive are soft, oily fries that end up tasting more like steamed potatoes, which I personally can't enjoy. I don't think most people would prefer fries served that way over crispy ones, so I really hope they can improve on this part of the menu.
