Hello, Today, 3.1.26, at approx. 1:15pm, the young lady at the window does not like black people or she's just rude. I said hello, nothing, she couldn've even look at me. The customer service is least to be desired. After speaking to the store manager, he confirmed they do not provide plates and utensils for big take out orders BUT he approved my request as I indicated the purpose of my request. It was even included in my take out order receipt. HOWEVER, when I came to pick up my order later that day, the same shift supervisor didn't provide the plates despite what was in my order receipt. It was pointless to keep coming back and have the same conversation with a close minded group of people. Customers don't have to argue with service people about their orders in front of the diners. A pretty good alternative to regular Pollo Inka, I'm not sure if they're associated with each other but I imagine they are because it tastes just as good! I don't think I've ever dinned in but their drive thru has been a life saver. It's especially helpful during this apocalyptic times (kidding). My go to order has to be Lomo Saltado! Of course, you can't go wrong with the rotisserie chicken. I feel that their portion sizes are on the bigger side. On service they're excellent! Always polite and helpful. One time I was waiting in a long drive thru line and it was getting close to closing time. They made sure to send an extra person out to take everyone's order before they closed the line. I have been coming to this spot since 2018. It has changed a lot. I noticed they are a bit understaffed, but their new automatic sliding door & digital ordering tablet that is coming soon makes up for their lack of staff. Due to their lack of staff, the restaurant may be dirty and there may be trash on the tables and floor at times. I think the taste in all of their foods is delicious and scrumptious. The meat is chewy just the way I like it. The Lomo Saltado is my go-to menu item, along with their chicken cilantro soup, which I can never get enough of. I tried their Tallarine Saltado de Carne for the first time and it was okay. The noodles had a bit too much sauce on them. I'll be sticking with my usual Lomo Saltado. I recommend checking this place out. It is inexpensive compared to the El Pollo Inka restaurants nearby and quality is just as good. I haven't had Peruvian food in a while, so when I was about to enter Carl's Jr next door, I decided last minute to give this place a try instead. The drive thru was very busy so I parked in the lot and went inside. I used the self-service ordering kiosk on their front counter to order two lomo saltado entrees with beef. Order total was $33.08. I used Apple Cash to purchase it, but the kiosk alerted me that there was an error with my payment. When I looked at my Apple Cash account, my balance went to $0 and the transaction for Pollo Inka Express was listed on it, so I thought I would still be okay. I notified one of the employees about the error and that I was still charged for the meal. He couldn't find the transaction on his end so eventually he called over his manager, Hector, to look at it. Now let me tell you; Hector's customer service was extraordinary. I showed him my charged account after he expressed that he also couldn't see a transaction ID on his end, and he went ahead and charged the food on his own card to show me how a proper transaction would print a receipt at the end. He never treated me someone trying to scam the place and was very friendly the entire time. He made a comment that it was possible that maybe I was a few cents short on my Apple Cash account and that may have prompted the error to occur. Now looking back, he may have been right. He still went ahead and gave me the order with no questions asked. I reported the issue to Apple and I hope the merchant receives the funds since I was charged for it. The lomo saltado was excellent and their green sauce made it even better. I highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be returning soon. I ordered a medium size - what I got when I opened my bag was not that. You can see that they mixed ají verde (green sauce ) with residuals of the cheese sauce . It's a great deal that comes with lots of food. 2 whole chickens, 4 sides, 2 green sauces, 2 soups and Inca Cola are included! For the family meal; the standard sides that it comes with is rice, beans and green salad. I actually didn't know this and had assumed one could choose the sides and chose to get cilantro rice, yuca and plantains. I ended up paying a $1.50 more per side. As one yelper mentioned; it does add up! My family meal ended up being $45 vs $36. It's still a pretty good deal but just pricier than I had expected. Overall the food was good. Everything was really flavorful. The green sauce is so delightful. They gave 2 big containers) and so you've got plenty to spread on your chicken or drizzle on to your rice.
