Sooo let me say I am still fairly "new" to the Birria life ... I know my biggest appeal when it comes to eating Birria is the Consommé. I was really pleased with the taste of their meat & consommé at Pollo Mobile. My daughter ordered the Birria tacos without queso & I got the QuesoBirria both had delicious consommé.. I enjoyed the amount of cheese my tacos had and they gave ample portions of onions . If it was good why am I giving four stars? Soggy tacos... Located on lake mead and Lincoln it's not the best looking location it's literally next to a liquor store lol. But it's about the food! And the chicken is unmatched in flavor and tenderness. However this time I didn't come here for chicken I came here for their menudo. Last time I was here I saw that their menudo and posole where only 6 dollars! And that's a price you can't beat but there had to be some sort of catch if they're selling it that cheap. So I came in today to get my answer. The menudo is served in a beautiful clay bowl it looks absolutely stunning and comes with tortillas,limes,onions and cilantro. But it does not have the little white corn in it I forget the actual name but i don't mind because that's more room for them to put more tripe! Lol. The broth was nice rich and sticky packed with flavor. They're the real locos for selling it so damn cheap lol. Not sure why I had to wait so long for my food and once I got it, it was full of grease. I called to place an order which was given a time frame. That was not honored, the people I had referred to them had their food by the time I got there and was in line waiting. I understand you have to use grease for the tortillas however your cook was rather busy singing along with the girls in the back the stupid famous song from el conejo malo aka bad bunny. It's nice to see how they vibe yet I was waiting in the counter to pay for my order I was ignored, it was not until I sat down that the lady decided to ring me up or acknowledged that I was there... When I got as Prego 30 years ago o got sick the night after eating elpollo loco. I'm sure it wasn't the food but you know how it goes after that you never want it again. This place was hella tasty! We ordered the whole chicken (8 pc) meal and chicken tacos. The service was good and the food came out very fast. The chicken was grilled very nicely and the sides were yummy, however the beans were very soupy... I don't know if it was just a bad batch or if that is their recipe since this was our first time eating here, but I didn't really dig the consistency (I just mixed my rice in and all was right with the world.) Came home with family to enjoy my 2 orders of whole chickens and let me tell you guys I was not impressed at all the chicken had no flavor what so ever was extra dry and a bit extra done . I was craving grilled chicken and as I was driving home I saw El Polo Mobile. I saw how they had grills outside and were grilling chicken and the smell was so good and reminded me of when my grandma would grill on 4th of July. I decided to give them a try. When I walked inside it was very crowded, especially for there to be a pandemic going on right now they were way too crowded. The lady taking my order seemed as if she was a little fustrated and rushy but she got my order right. I ordered a whole chicken and 3 birria tacos. The whole chicken comes with a small side of rice and a small side of refried beans and it cost $12. The birria tacos comes with lime, onion, cilantro and consome (birria broth) for $8.99. She gave me 2 large green sauce but I asked for a extra 2. The meal also came with tortillas. They prepare your order quickly so that was a huge plus for them. When I got home and ate and fed my children everyone liked it. The chicken was packed with flavor and grilled well but the breast were very dry. The birria tacos were good and juicy and the consome had lots of flavor as well. When you eat the tacos, dip it in the consome before taking a bite it gives it more flavor. I was absolutely satisfied with my order, although next time I would get the birria tacos with cheese instead of without cheese. I'm giving El polo mobile 3 stars because the food was great but the breast were dry and also the lobby is way too crowded with a pandemic going on. Customer service can also be a little bit better. I do recomend this place if you want authentic tasting grilled chicken and tacos. Ask for extra green. read more

The chicken is great, however it is better when 1 particular cook is doing the grilling. I don't know if the person cooking is responsible for marinating the chicken or not but 1 time when I was there the chicken was magnificent. Otherwise it's still very, very good. I have had a few problems ordering. I'm trying to eat more healthy so I never get the beans or rice. I just get the chicken and enjoy it with a salad. Twice I have had issues just trying to get chicken. Once I asked for 3 pieces, it became a big deal. They told me I had to order the 3 piece combo, told them I didn't want the rice or beans, a manager was called over and I was told the price would going to be more than a 3 piece combo was. I was so pissed off I walked out then I came back in and asked if I could by 1 piece of chicken, they said yes. OK, I ordered 1 piece, paid for it, then ordered another piece paid for it and finally after paying for that ordered another piece. A lot less than a 3 piece combo. They felt really stupid.
