I live 30 min away and I am more than happy to make the drive! On Tuesdays they have 5 al pastor tacos for $10 or 10 for $20. This is a phenomenal deal nowadays! Especially when the meat is so flavorful and fresh. We also had carne asada fries and wow, the steak was high quality and seared perfectly. Sometimes asada from places like Roberto's can look like ground beef haha Theo lady that took our order was kind and generous with her approach to service. She made sure we had grilled onions and jalapeños on the side (no additional charge). She brought the meal to our table and ensured we had enough napkins and salsa. I'm surprised at how many places don't have this as a standard lol In terms of ambiance it was traditional Hispanic restaurant vibes, nothing fancy. There was a DJ set up in the corner, so maybe they have music sometimes? Not sure. Bottom Line: Support this local business and make sure they stay open! The fries were nice and crispy straight fries they had the classic sauce's and cheese on them could have had more sauce but still very good. The quesadilla was loaded with meat salsa fresh onions and cilantro was very good. Nila was so freaking good. The tortillas are made fresh to order. Very light and soft and taste amazing. The service was great quick and friendly. The lady even came to our table and told us about some specials they have during the week. The inside does need a bunch of work but I'm sure they're working on it. It was a pupusa restaurant prior. But we came for the food am I right?? Such a good taco spot! I stopped in after reading the reviews and I was not disappointed. There's plenty of seating. The staff is extremely friendly and quick in making the food you order. I tied the carne asada and chicken tacos. The chicken tacos had a good spice to them. More on the mild side but enough to add flavor. It was cooked to perfection. Extremely soft. The carne asada is also always a solid choice. The tortilla is small and more doughy. It tasted delicious. It is delicate so it ended up breaking while eating one of the tacos. Still worth the taste of it! They do add a ton of avocado so I actually ended up taking most of it off. That was more just personal preference but my avocado lovers you will be in heaven!
