Wow I don't know why I have not left a review before. Los Toritos is hands down my favorite Mexican food spot. I've been coming here since high school and their food has always been consistently delicious. My go to is their torta de carne asada but you really can not go wrong with anything on their menu. Recently tried their fish ceviche and as skeptical I was... it was delicious. Another great thing about this place is their amazing Aguas Frescas. Their always a lot of amazing choices but my favorite is their Pina (pineapple), Mango, and the Pepino with Chia (Cucumber). My only complaint would be wishing they had self serve salsa bar with radishes, cucumbers and jalapeños like and most taco spots but even without it this is my favorite!! read more

I have been here twice now and I think overall it's a decent taco shop. I ordered the carne asada torta which came with sour cream, guacamole, tomato and lettuce. I would have liked the carne asada to have some more flavor but overall it was fine. The bread was soft which was a plus as I've had some bad bread before. It was served with a red and green salsa and some chips on the side. I also tried the taco de lengua served with green salsa on it. I also had an agua de Jamaica and it wasn't too sweet so very good and refreshing. Service was quick and the people working there were welcome and friendly. read more

Came around 11pm for taco Tuesday which is your choice of chorizo, carnitas, or pollo for 1.99. Opted for carnitas and pollo and both were equally flavorful. Okay I have not been here in years literally maybe about 10 years or so could be longer. I placed an order for 60 tacos , 30 chicken , 30 asada. I called a few hours ahead of time which I normally do for large orders. I came and I'm still eating because they were still grilling the chicken. The website said the tacos were 2.25$ but got charge 2.80 $ might not seem like a huge difference when you order 3/4 tacos but I ordered 60 tacos so it's around 50$ I got charge more because they failed to update the website... so that's not the experience I want. They also had no cheese. I wish they would have mentioned that before I paid. Another thing is I wanted to grab some frijoles but they were highway robbery for a small portion of beans 4$ for a small small container. Overall ambiance is they are not good for party's or large ground seating is very limited. It's spacious inside but again if you have 4 or more people sadly you will not be sitting together. Interior is very outdated.. well for now I'll try to food and see if it has improved.. My star rating might change after I eat the food I'll re update later read more

Do not go to this location I went at 11:24pm and they close the door on my face, they clearly stated that they were already closed however, online it says that hours of operation is until 12:00. There were some customers eating inside. I don't understand why close early if the hours of operation say 12:00. In that case, they should change their hours of operation. It's OK I will take my business somewhere else where they actually want my money and somewhere where they're not rushing to close as soon as possible before the hours of operation. I stayed outside for 5mins and another guy tried to come in and they had to open the door for the guy because they are loosing too much money. This is very unprofessional!!! read more

Man I came to get a torta combo with chips, beans, and rice. When I started eating it a damn hair popped out! I go to tell the lady up front that has like 4 teeth missing and she goes what do you want to do like it's my fault. So I ask for another plate and they gave me a plain as torta with no rice and beans or chips. So I go back and ask them for my rice, chips, beans and they said they have to charge me extra, again like as if it was my fault. Bad service will definitely not go ever again! After watching Keith Lee review this place we thought we would give it a try. It did not disappoint! We are boring people and just got carne asada tacos but they were great. Loaded with carne asada. Like too much for the tortillas to hold Service was incredible. And this place is so, SO CLEAN. Like as soon as the other patron got up to leave, they were out here and cleaned up the space. Can't think of anything else to say about Los toritos other than "stellar" . This fine little establishment is located right on the east side and brings some of the best tacos and drinks to us. Their prices are fair and it's refreshing to see that they don't force you to tip on their little pin pad thing. I just so happen to order food from here from Uber eats about a year ago and have been hooked ever since! The meat always tastes fresh and flavorful! I got lucky finding this place. I was driving around looking to buy a drink. there were about 15 people standing in front of the restaurant. I am guessing they much have just finished lunch. I figured, since there are so many people standing there, it must be good. I walk inside and decide to order 4 tacos and menudo. The menudo was not bad. But the tacos really stood out. The tripas was fried so it was crispy. To this day, the tripas taco is the best taco I ever had. The check and lengua were also good tacos. I could eat 10 of them they are so good. Part of my introduction to Las Vegas as a resident has been a tour of my partner's favorite food and restaurants. Tacos Los Toritos' Drunken Sandwich was at the top of her list of best foods in town, and I couldn't wait to stop constantly hearing about it and finally pay one a visit with my mouth. The location is a typical unassuming strip mall situation to be expected on the East Side, nestled between a c-store and a few other businesses. As you walk in, they dining area is busy with... wait, do I really need to expound on what you could just go experience on you own (if you haven't already)? Probably not, so let's move forward. I ordered a sampling of three tacos: chorizo, asada, birria, with rice and beans. My dining partner, of course, ordered a drunken sandwich to split. The tacos were on par with my favorite tacos in town, nothing mind blowing just good portions of well cooked meats bursting with the flavors you would expect, and then some. On to the Torta Ahogada... The Torta Ahogada... it feels as if your tongue is doing its best Steve Irwin to wrestle this rolling crocodile of flavor. From the first bite the pan, salsa ranchera, pickled onion, frijoles, and perfect pulled pork formed and singular allied flavor with individual surprise bursts of flavors which presented as said crocodile rolled over and over in my mouth. Hints of oregano, tomato, tart yes slightly sweet and spicy pickles, the earthiness of the pork, and the absolute perfect chewy give of the bread... ok it's probably time to wrap this up so I can go to TLT for another.... Highly recommend this small, family spot to fix whatever ails you, especially if what ails you is trying to wrap your mind (and mouth) around the best Drowned Sandwich in Las Vegas. I have this philosophy about recipes at restaurants being uniquely their own version of dishes. I grew up on Roberto's in Las Vegas and to me that is casual Mexican food. Tacos Los Toritos is another universe for some people and I totally dig it. The east side of Las Vegas, to me, is anywhere east of Eastern and TLT has some of my favorite street tacos on the east side. Street tacos aka just meat, onion, cilantro, and salsa-nothing fancy. My favorites are their lengua and their tripas. They give you the option of soft or crunchy and their crunchy tripas is the way to go. Aside from tacos they have your traditional plate meals with rice and beans, your covered fries or nachos, and your hangover cures like menudo. What stands out for me at this taco shop versus other places is there agua frescas. These are delicious, refreshing, and made in house. Their horchata isn't my favorite, but try any of their other offerings and you won't be disappointed. My favorite is the cucumber. One thing people may have a love or hate opinion on is their pickled carrots and jalapeños. They are very mildy pickled and spicy which I happen to like. They aren't like the canned ones I'm used to. I know this place is a staple on the east side, but even if you don you live on this side of town, they're worth a trip. read more
