Store location on Garland Rd. Food wasn't as good as before. The Pico de Gallo watered-down and the tomatoes, onion etc aren't fresh. But the most disappointing was I ordered two burrito (chicken and barbacoa) the meat smelled funny also I ordered NO guacamole/avocado and they gave me WITH what I asks for NO. Went here for chicken, left with a grilled chicken Salad. The salad was awesome!! They give you some spicy avocado green sauce and ranch for salad dressing. I used the green sauce and it really took the salad up a few notches!! Simple ingredients - big chunks of lettuce, crispy tortilla strips, some beans, a little bit of cheese and of course Grilled Chicken. This salad is actually filling and under 800 calories. I added some avocado because the sauce is kinda spicy! Would totally go back. read more

The carne asada baked potato is always a winner! It's just so good!!! They loaded it with meat, cheese and sour cream. You don't even need a sauce to enjoy the great flavor. read more

Came here on a raining Wednesday night around 8pm. I've been driving pass this restaurant a few times and decided to check it out. Walked in on a raining day and it wasn't too busy until a little after. The dining area is a bit small and parking lot is small, but they have other parking spaces around the restaurant. Walked up to the cashier and ordered an asada torta that was decently tasteful. What makes it tasted better was the added condiments they had offered in the middle of their dining area (see my pictures). While dining in, they have free chips for dine in only, which I took advantage of. The chip was still good and crispy. It was great with the complimentary sauces/salsa/cold slaw they had offered. Service was great and received my food in a timely manner. I would come back, but I would probably try something else. read more

Bad service ... hardly no meat .. raw tortillas... uncooked rice ... canned beans .. I don't know what the hell happened . Worst experience I've had here . I love this place and this is the first time this happened to us ... everything is disgusting. I was so hungry and was expecting the delicious plate like always only to come home to this bs .. I need answers !!!! Waste of my money! I wanted to go off at this place so bad . I'm disgusted and pissed .. who sells raw tortillas , rice , and can beans??? I got ripped off and they need to fire everyone at this location .I don't know what happen to this place the service and quality use to be a 10plus now its literally garbage .. Time for a new crew at this place! I called back and let the manager know . He said he just had the rice and beans and that they were good .. bullshit or someone did us wrong today . They serve nothing but chicken and they do it well. Yes, I have experienced some dry ones on occasion but generally their flavors are spot on. The salsa bar is great. You are able to get as much as you like and to your taste, mild or hot. Prices are reasonable to their portions. Unfortunately, you can't come here if you are on a diet because they only offer rice and beans as sides. I believe they have a chicken salad option but that's about it for the healthier tastes out there. As a last observation, their parking is small and very hard to get in and out of this location. read more

I come here simply for the pineapple water. I've tried a couple things on the menu, and it was decent eat.

Note, I actually like the food here but their customer service is horrible. The young man at the front hardly speaks when he opens the window and seems annoyed if you ask a question. I prefer the location in Deep Ellum area. This location has gotten my order wrong every single I've visited - 3 times. And rushes you at the window. The other locations automatically supply you with salsa (red AND green), this location does not, so be sure to ask. I definitely won't be spending my money here, although the food is decent. read more

Came here with my mom. Terrible service. She warned me beforehand but I thought she was being dramatic, nope, staff was pretty rude for some reason. Maybe they were having an off day but I will not be returning to this location. The one near Forest & 635 had better quality food in my opinion anyways. read more

I went to get a full grilled chicken and asked to get an extra large cup of rice, I should of only order the one that came with the chicken, I came home to see that they left the both of the cups of rice half full. It's not a big deal but it's not the first time they get something wrong. read more

By far THE BEST chicken I've had in Dallas. It has that amazing smoky, home-cooked taste and it is still tender. It never disappoints. My boyfriend and I order takeout about twice a month. Went to eat lunch with my husband today. I was indecisive, so I told my husband to order while I decided. After me came a whole bunch of people, I can only assume they work around the area. I ordered a tortilla soup and asked the cashier what the difference was among the soups. She seemed annoyed by my question and I understand that they were in rush hour. So, I ordered the soup and sat down with my husband. Then we noticed that everybody else after me was receiving their food except me. My husband finished his food and I decided to go ask for my soup. The lady saw me coming and went to get it. I told her to put it to go since my husband was already done with his lunch. The cashier then told the lady to just give me the bowl and bag so that I could pack it myself. Worst customer service and attitude. It looks like they have their clientele from around there and are not interested in serving anybody else. Do not recommend this place. read more

This location was very clean and the staff was friendly. My husband got the steak tacos and his were delicious. I got the Monterey chicken and it was pretty good, but I think I will get the tacos next time. They also have a burger which tastes pretty good. This is a small location but it's right across the street from the movies so it's the perfect place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. read more

I have been a huge fan of Pollo Regio and buy food there at least twice/month. My last two visits this month have been less than pleasing. I went through the drive thru this past Sunday at the location off Preston & 635. I bought a whole chicken meal. I asked the attendee to make sure she gave me fresh chicken off the grill, as I have been given old, dried up chicken in the past. Well, when I got home, I got terrible, old dried up chicken. On top of that, the tortillas were falling apart as they had been moist and warm for too long, rice was undone and the beans were hard. I was sooooo disappointed.. . It seems since El Pollo Regio went corporate, the quality has gone downhill too. The company seems to be more concerned about expanding than keeping their quality up and fostering a loyal fan base. I will not be returning and will give my business over to El Pollo Loco. Please save your money and don't go to this business! read more
