Honestly, this place had delicious food between the rotisserie style chicken, the maduro plantains, and fried yucca sticks!! The main protein here is chicken, but they have other things. You can also pair the chicken with a variety of sides. The pineapple soda was good, but I am definitely more of a fan of Jupina or Inca Cola. The staff was super friendly, and it is family owned for years, which is always nice to support the local community. I went with my good friend who is Colombian, and she said the food and place an authentic Colombian feel to it especially with Colombian pick-up lines on the wall such as "Quien pidió pollo?" When I went, the place was empty. So, it was easy to get a table. It's also in a plaza. So, there is free parking in the front. I will be totally down to come back again. read more

My wife found this place by accident. She was looking for a place that sells "chicharrones" and found pictures of this place on Google. She was curious about the food because the pictures of the food looked really good. When we arrived, right away, we noticed that the service was exceptional. You could tell that this place cares for their customers. The food was just as expected. It was beyond delicious. My wife had the "Picada" and "Sopa de Costilla de Res." She enjoyed every bite. I had the #4 which is 1/4 Chicken with Rice and Fries. The chicken tastes ridiculously good. You could tell that they specialize in chicken. This is a place I would visit very often growing up with my father. I hadn't gone back in such a long time and I decided to go back and see if it was as good as I remembered. The restaurant has too many tables for the space it has, the tables are too close to each other. The service is ok, but the food doesn't come at the same time, one dish comes then 10 minutes later the other plate will arrive. The food: The chicken is great, tasty and well cooked, also the salty potatoes are good, but, the salad is old, taste and looks like it's been in the freezer for a week. The sancocho de costilla lacks of taste. It is served with lots of soup and potatoes , but a small portion of ribs and plantains. This place is a total dump... but its damn good. The ladies that work here are nice. I'm sure the chicken is not free-range. These fat things are just so juicy. Must haves: beans, empanadas (ask for the spicy sauce!), the sweet plantain with cheese and the arepas. The potatoes are a little too salty sometimes and they've gotten quite expensive with them. I love this chicken so much. It had been years before today that I had been to this location. Literally, around 6 or 7. Anyway, this is a colombian place that just serves chicken (surprise surprise). That's the only source of protein they serve though. No pork or beef or fish. Just chicken. Its chicken rotisserie style and its probably the juiciest most flavorful I've had. Even the breast was extremely juicy and thats saying a lot. As for sides they have your typical colombian expected side kicks, papa criolla, beans, rice, corn, etc. They do have appetizers such as chorizo, morcilla, empanadas, and arepas though. Overall, this is a great hidden place to get amazing chicken. Nothing else was that great. By the way, I don't suggest you eat here because it was extremely hot, thus the subtraction of a star. Horrible experience. They got my order wrong both times in the past. And then I come back to give it one more chance and once again they get my order wrong. The man that took my order looked like he was under the influence of something, he kept asking me to repeat the order and still gave me the wrong items. Never again am I coming to this place.
