This is a great place for all kinds of pies. We frequent this place for the hard to find banana cream pie. No other place in the area makes great banana cream pies than Polly's Pies- and I have tried gourmet ones that they sell for double in Temecula. Wellll.... Over all, the place isn't too bad.... However.... I find it very unprofessional that, when they advertise, "Prime rib, 4:00 PM- closing, or until we run out," they are out. Every blasted time I make a point to come here for the prime rib, they are conveniently OUT of it. This has happened four times. I wonder if they could posdibly stock enough to last the entire weekend, when it is advertised. Like I wrote-- it's overall good, but this is the last time I will come here. I love Polly's! I always get breakfast. Eggs are delicious and the bacon is crispy. I prefer the hash browns (very good) to the breakfast potatoes. My daughter ordered the Mac and cheese off the kids menu. She is picky about her Mac and cheese, so I half wondered if she would even eat it. But she loved Polly's Mac and cheese and ate the whole bowl. The wait staff is consistently warm and friendly. They check in with you with good timing. Polly's feels like a family restaurant/diner. The hostess has been the same person for at least 10 years. It seems to me that points to a pleasant and respectful work environment. Don't miss the bakery items on the way out! Have been eating at Pollys for more than 30 years and my favorite sandwich is the Polly Melt. Very disappointed on my last visit that they no longer have rye bread. If you no longer have rye bread you need to remove the Polly melt from the menu. I don't know if this is chain wide or just at the Hemet location. read more

We've been here twice, always for breakfast, but my in-laws who live close by are practically regulars at Polly's. The place is pretty nice and clean. The staff have always been lovely ladies. The food is good, I ordered the 2-3-1 breakfast. Bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns with white toast. I got the cranberry juice to drink. Only complaint is that the portions are a bit on the small side for the price. They must use medium sized eggs because it's just a small amount especially when in scrambled form. Came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning with a friend. When we arrived we had to ask if we had to wait to be seated (as the two women already there did not bother to acknowledge us). Once we were seated it took them a while to come ask us if we were ready to order our drinks. After our coffee arrived, I noticed a small gnat inside of my coffee. I kindly asked if I could get another one. I really wanted to leave, however did not want to make a big deal out of this and continued on with breakfast. After tasting the new cup of coffee I was really disappointed in the taste of the coffee as I felt it was extremly watered down. My friend thought so too, and we asked it they had stronger coffee. They were nice enough to brew us stronger coffee, for which we were thankful. It took them a very long time to return and ask us if we were ready to order our food. It took them even longer to make our food and bring it out, despite the place not being very busy (upon our arrival). Story short, no one came to check up on us regularly. We had to flag down servers for everything (water, more napkins). We felt ignored and the severs were extremly short when speaking to us and did not feel friendly at all. At the end of our meal we had a diffult time flagging someone down so that we could have a box for our leftover food (I had ordered a cinnamon roll and did not eat it there as I wanted to take it home). No one asked us if we needed anything else, before they brought us our check. When I got home I finally had a taste of the cinnamon roll and again was disappointed as it was stale. The side of "toast" was so hard to bite into... like biting onto a rock The fries, were soggy and super thin... I don't know what that brownie looking thing was that was added inside my child's fries lol & the burger?! No words. We went to lunch at Polly's Pies in Hemet. I had very fond memories of Polly's Pies from years ago. I thought it would be fun to go back for lunch. The restaurant was dirty. There were big cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the dining room and the bathroom was disgusting. The food was barely edible. I got the Garlic Aioli Turkey Sandwich and it was tasteless. The pumpkin pie was so so but the crust was limp and soggy. The server we had was very nice. She was the highlight of our visit to Polly's Pies. read more

But we drove by Pollys pies and since we used to eat at The Huntington Beach location we thought we give it a try. The staff was friendly and fast! The food came out hot. There were pretty decent vegetarian options. My son ordered the avocado toast with over medium eggs. The eggs came out over easy but luckily he still ate them. My husband and I ordered the seasonal skillet and it was tasty but the potatoes could have been cooked a little more. My daughter had the fiesta omelette which I didn't get chance to try it because she ate it so fast. Overall the place is clean and it is a decent place to stop while driving through Hemet. read more

The food like always was great and our server Gracie was such a a sweetheart. It was nice listening to the music playing and it wasn't too loud. The only down side was a person there who made us want to vomit from his smell. We will be back but if we see him there we will come back another time. Okay, here we go again. I come here because my fiancé likes the pancakes. The server served my fiancé's pancake sliding off the plate in which she had to use napkins to catch the topping and whip cream drool. HOW DO YOU SERVE SOMETHING THAT TO A CUSTOMER! My ABC omelette had a small piece of avocado (usually there's a lot more in the past). I asked for more as she gave me a huh face. The toast was cold, the omelette was scrambled hard. I asked for the omelette scrambled not folded but it was just scrambled eggs not an omelette. The water was Hemet tap (gross) not filtered or anything. Glad we found another place in the area that we can get a good hot breakfast. This has always been a hit or miss depending on server and the cooks. I only come here once in a while now. Side note: Please I don't want a free gift card or meal. No need for customer service to contact me as I've been going here on and off for years and it's still the same issues. Thank you for your time and attention. Tip: Train your servers not to serve items that are not consumer appealing. Train your cooks to make the meals the same or at least not to over cook the food. We got the Thanksgiving turkey feast to reheat at home. The service at pick up went well. The manager helped me out to my car, across the parking lot. Just had a delicious lunch with my daughter. When we first arrived, we waited a few minutes then a hostess took our drink orders. She mentioned that our server would be taking our order. The server (P) was talking to customers sitting next to us, and proceeded to ignore us for a long time, then disappeared to the kitchen. Afterwards, I showed my unhappiness and, my daughter told the hostess that we had not yet given our order. Soon after that, our server came out, took our order, then went to the kitchen. She never returned. A different server came to us, and told us that (P) was leaving, and she was taking her customers. Funny thing is that (P) kept helping customers As I stated, we enjoyed our meals, but feeling ignored left a pretty sour taste in my mouth! I hope someone educates P on customer service. read more
