I recently had a disappointing experience at this store that I feel compelled to share. My wife selected six sweaters of the similar style and size in different colors, a common way many shoppers make purchases today. However, at checkout, we were told we could not complete the purchase due to a policy limiting customers to five of the same type of item per "customer group." We clarified that we are not resellers and that the items were different in style and color. Despite this, the associate still refused to proceed with the transaction. While I understand the importance of preventing bulk purchasing by resellers, the way this policy was applied made us feel unfairly judged. As Asians, we could not help but feel that the assumption made about us was inappropriate and potentially discriminatory. read more

I had to get shorts and shirts for my up coming trip. I came here on Saturday which was raining pretty hard, so I was the only customer in the store. I had Emily helping me for all the clothes I wanted to try on. She was getting all the sizes that I needed and different styles that I wanted to try on. Very attentive it was like having my own personal shopper. This store has a nice variety of styles. As far as price is concern, I don't think its any cheaper than department store, like Macy's. Stopped in yesterday to see if a hat I had seen at another location was available. Upon walking in I wasn't greeted which seems to be the case with most stores these days. I was happy to see the hat was available. There were two prices on the tag. One was for $39 and above it was one for $59. I asked which was correct and the $59 was. I find it odd that they wouldn't completely cover the older price. At the other location it was $39. read more

First of all I want to say that I've love the brand Ralph Lauren and want it to continue to succeed. I do unfortunately have to say I had the worst experience ever when visiting the other day. I was severely racially profiled by their "store manager" Janette .D. I'm not sure what happened on this day but her piercing stare and very passive aggressive attitude when asking me "what are you looking for?" was not a welcoming one. The worst part is that I had my partner with me and she happen to over here her talking on the walking to keep and eye on us. I have been in retail and know that the next step would be to service us and make it known that we are being watched but I'm so disgusted at how poorly of a manager she is. I bought a belt that I used maybe 5 times and the mini screw came undone. I was trying to return or exchange it forever but with a new baby things got in the way and it was a few months went by, by the time I got to the store. I was honest and transparent with the manager ( also I'm not fat) so it was just a manufacture defect, I hoped that a simple exchange would be okay and a customer service gesture given the situation. But the manager here is incapable of using her brain for a reasonable solution for their customer and just exchange a belt. Really bad judgement today on her part. read more

Needed a quick shop for an Oxford shirt and did not want to make the trip to Costa Mesa. With the nonexistent customer service here, I should have just went there. Upon walking in, the store is clean and well maintained, but I felt uncomfortable here. I could see the sales associates keeping an eye on my friend and I as we were going through shirts. Lol. Could not imagine the profiling in 2023, but I guess for this location, I'm not surprised. I wanted to stay longer and shop more, but I grabbed what I needed and left. I asked the sales associate if they had a certain size in a shirt, she was rude and said no, then I saw it on a mannequin in my size and asked if it was possible and again told no. I found one thing and when I went to purchase I showed them a coupon my husband received and texted to my phone. They says they couldn't use it unless he came in, but unfortunately he was at work. I was impressed their staff members. While COVID 19 shopping restrictions are going on, they limits the numbers of customers going inside of their store. A staff stands and monitors numbers of customers inside and let people outside in as customers leave come the store. We were waiting in the line. There was a group of 4 guys right behind us. They are too close to other people and loud. I was annoyed by them. Right after we went inside of the store. This staff Tanner was handing these people very well. He told them to keep 6 feet apart and not everyone can get inside of the store. I guess because they were a party of four. Anyway I felt safe because he filtered and stayed on guide line. Had the worst experience at this store. Have been shopping here for years. Called them to check what time they were open till with the new rules etc and was told 8pm. Drove approx 20 miles to get there in time and was told at 7:50 they were closed and they turned me back because they had 15 people shopping which was max capacity and nowadays it takes them an hour or so to close. Very disappointed. Understanding the current environment they should be clearer on the phone as to what nuances are in place and what capacity is like which will trigger the difference fine prints. I had a good experience at the polo Ralph Lauren store in Orange California. They had everything that I wanted from polo shirts two shorts to pants to it's. The one issue is that they do not always have the right color or size because the selection can be limited. Parking was good and it seemed like it was an easy in and out experience. The staff was very friendly and they did a good job to help me. I will definitely be back to the store when I am in the area. I think that this is one of the better polo stores that you will find. I have always had a good experience at the store and will continue to do so for shopping in the future. Their hours of operation are accurate and the access is right off of the parking lot which is great. The gentleman who has black hair, who refused to tell me his name - rudely and aggressively answered my friends simple question "do you have any knitted polos" - lost our business and he seems to be the floor manager. He was directing the employees around, so my assumption is he is the manager. He wouldn't tell me his name, but he will certainly read this. It's RARE to get that level of service unless your at a Cartier or LV store, but Kim...Kim the store manager of this location had that first class - above and beyond service! Loaded both kids into the car, unloaded them into strollers after we parked, got to the door at 900pm- the doors were locked with zero associates visible. Wow!!! The customer service in this location was pretty bad. I came here to return my purchase because all the clothes were running large for my brother and I had reordered again through phone. I brought the original receipt and all of the clothes are in original condition which still had size label and tag etc. I had explained the situation to this male cashier and he didn't want to help me at all. He kept insisting that they have the best deal going on right now and repeated the same thing for like at least three times. When he finally processed my return, he inspected every single shirt very closely and even ask the manager to check it again. At this point, I was quite annoyed. I didn't understand why it take that long to return brand new shirts in it's original condition with all tags, labels and orignaly receipt. What made thing worse was I purchased my clothes in LA county and the tax in this location is cheaper. At some point, he had to return a cent to me. He hold the one cent and said "tax is weird. I had to give you this one cent". Before he placed that cent into my hand, he paused and said "you sure you want it. You sure you still want to have this one cent???". He didn't seem to want to refund to me at all and his attitude just really annoyed me. At this point, I just wanted to get out of this place. It is not welcoming at all and he made me had a really difficult time just to return my order. This is the worst experience I had so far. I bought 3 shirts same size, when I try it on at the shop, I tried 1 shirt that fitted perfectly, so I didn't try on the other 2. Got home, pull out the tags and washed/dried them as normal. At the time to wear them, I found out 1 of 3 shirts was shorter than other 2 about 2", I think this is a mistake cut from manufacture. I brought back to the store asking for exchange (not refund). This store refused to exchange for me, they said because I already washed and dried it, so it was on me, nothing they can do about it. I complaint that is manufacture mistake when making the shirt not in correct size as it supposed to be, but they ignored my complaint...this is $110 shirt, not $20. For a store like Polo Ralph Lauren like this, refused to responsible on their faulty product, was not acceptable. No wonder they never can compare with other store like Nordstrom or even Costco...I do not recommend this store to anyone, if you still want to buy, make sure you check it carefully before buying since they mixed the defected products among the good one and you might become another victim of this scam.
