    so much food

My foodie friends told mom and I to try this place because of their pickled veggies and rice. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. We shared the lamb with rice, chicken, fries, and boreg. Oh My God were my friends right. My mouth was so happy. The meat was just meat. Definitely delicious, but my heart belongs to the rice, fries, and boreg. That rice was so buttery. Wonderful comfort food. The boreg was the best I've ever had. They add peppers inside, so it's more than just a fried cheese. Wonderful! I'm not normally a shoestring fry person, but these were perfect. Not overly crispy, but not a soggy mess either. Our waitress was also so attentive and super passionate about the food. I want to come back.

The food here is some of the best! We had the chicken breast kebab, steak kebab, cheese plate and labneh. My husband and nephew both had the baklava and tea after our dinner. The chicken is always nice and juicy, their rice is some of the best I've ever had. Steak is cooked perfectly. The service is always spectacular. The location is clean, a little on the smaller side. The restrooms are always spotless. Which is huge for us.

A while back, I was at a car dealership and I met a Middle Eastern gentleman who was very entertaining. During our long conversation, he mentioned Kebab Halebi.... so I had to check it out. this is a Syrian Mediterranean restaurant. We got cucumber salad and hummus (house made) for appetizers and then ordered the Adana kebab. This dish comes with four kebabs, and has as described, a special blend of ground, beef and lamb, seasoned and mixed with chopped jalapeños and red peppers and flame broiled on a skewer served with onion, tomato, pita and rice pilaf. The hummus was nice and silky, melted in your mouth. The cucumber salad was also very well done the kebabs had nice presentation and color, but were overcooked and dry to the tongue. I saw no jalapeños or red peppers. Service was swift and friendly.

My first time here! Always open to trying new Middle Eastern food!!! My sis said it was delicious. Well, she was correct. We ordered several plates so they separated each item. Looked like we were having a catered affair! Generous portion of rice, pita bread, pickled cabbage, Persian cucumbers and radishes. The chicken and beef come with the garlic spread as well which is yummy. So good to dip your meat or pita bread with. I am not a fan of the pickled veggies but my family likes them. (It's an acquired taste) Pick up is easy once you order online. Plenty of parking in the lot. Prices are moderate and you can eat inside if you prefer to be served.

The restaurant is never that busy, but don't let that fool you, because every time I've passed by, it's mostly people grabbing takeout. Their menu is very limited. I got the beef-lamb shawarma. For 6 inches, it's not a ton of food but it's a fair amount. There was a good amount of beef and lamb which was cooked really tender, and I liked the combination of sauce and vegetables they used. The taste wasn't overwhelming and I don't think it needed anything additional. They even have Sriracha sauce on the side which I used and it added a nice flavor kick. I asked which wrap was better--chicken or lamb--and he told me honestly, both are amazing and popular. In my head I was thinking, "yeah, okay... we'll see." I ended up getting a 6" of each to try, and he wasn't lying. Both wraps were incredible. The pita had a light, crisp texture, and the meat was super tender and full of flavor. I'm really glad I gave this place a shot--I'll definitely be back. I also had the chance to meet the owner, who was very welcoming and kind. He shared that he's from Syria, which I really respected due to the authenticity.

It's located along Hollywood Blvd, and the only parking, other than garage parking, is street parking. This is literally just a takeout counter and unassuming, but don't let that fool you. The menu is pretty simple, either beef & lamb mix, or chicken options for a 6" or 12" wraps by themselves, or you can do a 12" or 24" plate option in which the wrap is sliced into sections for easier sharing/eating. My bf and I opted for the 24" beef & lamb mix plate. The plates also came with pickles and fries along with a tahini dipping sauce. It was so good! The meat was juicy seasoned well and it mixed with the onion and tomatoes well. The fries were crispy too. Seating wise there are about 3 tables with black chairs. The drink prices aren't listed but there's a fridge you can see. Cans were $2 and he gave the water on the house which we weren't expecting. This was a great find nearby and definitely could feed up to 3 people. Nice easy casual bite especially if you don't want a sit down restaurant.

We ordered the zaatar and cheese stuffed mannaish-- blistered, golden, perfumed with wild thyme and sesame. It's the kind of bread that makes you shut up for a minute. The zaatar hits first -- earthy, sharp, unapologetically Levantine -- then the molten cheese pulls it together like a band that's been playing the same neighborhood spot for decades. Honest. Direct. No shortcuts. Then the adjaruli kachapuri lands on the table -- a canoe of blistered dough carrying a molten lake of cheese and egg. You tear into it, stir the yolk through the cheese, and suddenly you're participating in something ancient and slightly indecent. The crust has chew and character. The filling is rich without apology. It's comfort food with backbone. But here's the thing -- the soul of the place isn't just in the oven. It's Hasan and his family. They introduced themselves, welcomed us in like we were regulars, and made it clear this isn't just a business -- it's their table. That kind of hospitality can't be faked.
