Found this spot on Yelp and with these ratings, I just had to try it. The place did live up to my expectations. We ordered the meat combo plate, which came with beef lula kabob as well as chicken kabob and beef kabob pieces. The plate also came with hummus and because I came with my daughter and she demanded fries, I replaced the included basmati rice for freshly made fries. In addition, we decided to order a side of baba ganoush, which was very flavorful and just so worth it. The meats were outstanding. Both, chicken and beef kabob pieces were nicely marinated, perfectly grilled and delicious. The beef lula kabob really stood out to me and it's one of the better ones I've had in LA -- very juicy, well marinated ground beef and they cooked it so the juices are trapped inside the lula and they only get released after you bite into it. What I got was a perfect bite every time and those delicious beef juices made my taste buds say Yaaaaay and nourished my soul. Overall, a very good meal at a good price and it had my wife and daughter satisfied. The spot is located on a medium-size plaza with many parking spots. The inside is clean and has about 8 tables for dining in. The service was good and friendly. A worthy local place for a quick, delicious Mediterranean food. Will come back again! read more

Yummy! I really enjoyed my experience here, it's been a while since I've had good kabobs! I tried the two kabob combo, beef barg, and the fresh squeezed oj and everything was really good. The food here is just so good! I've gotten the combination kabob plate with 1/2 shish, 1/2 chicken, and 1 ground koobideh, and it hasn't disappoint. For $21.99 it's worth getting especially since it comes with saffron rice, salad, pita bread, and a choice of regular hummus or spicy hummus. Was craving Mediterranean last night and found this spot on yelp. Let me say it was definitely worth it. We ordered chicken kabob and shish kabob which i thought was chicken but it was actually steak. They were both so good and tender, the plates are a good portion with hummus as a side usually you pay extra for that. Mimi the waitress was super friendly and helped with our questions. I ordered the Salmon Kebab, which came with salad, rice, hummus, and pita. For a takeaway meal, it was definitely satisfying and quite filling. However, I do wish the salad portion was a bit larger and the rice a bit less oily. The ratio of rice to fish felt a little off. would have preferred more salmon and less rice. It was fairly quite while I was waiting for my food so it made serve quicker. That said, the food overall was tasty and I plan to return and I will try the chicken next. A friend recommend Fresh Grill to me and I was finally able to swing by and check them out. My friend's recommendation definitely lived up to the hype. Fresh Grill has a delightful, attentive, and friendly staff which is also reflected in the delicious food. I ordered the Boneless Chicken Kabob plate and the chicken was delicious. Wonderfully spiced and cooked to perfection. Combining the ingerdients of the plate into a pita allowed me to create a sandwich which was a delight. The rice and hummus had great flavors to each. Found out about this lovely place through yelp's Carnevil event last month and won 50% off an entree. After browsing their menu online, I was thrilled to discover they have a lot of vegan options! I came for lunch and it was easy to find parking in their lot right in front of the restaurant. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the cashier was friendly and helpful. I ordered the falafel wrap and was assured it would be made vegan. The food came out pretty quickly and I relaxed at a table while waiting. I come to Mediterranean Fresh Grill often, but unfortunately my experience with phone orders has been disappointing more than once. At least twice, I've called to place an order and was put on hold, only for nobody to come back and take my order. Most recently, I called ahead and was told my food would be ready in 20 minutes. Because I have a very busy schedule, I rely on ordering ahead to save time. When I arrived 20 minutes later, they told me they didn't have my order and even asked if I had called the right location. The employee went to the back, came back, and proceeded to charge me. At that point, I assumed my food was about to come out. When I asked how much longer it would take, I was told another 15-20 minutes. That means my order would have taken nearly an hour from the time I first called. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet no one apologized or seemed concerned about the inconvenience. The response was simply that they didn't have my order. I've been a regular customer for a long time, but it feels like customer service is no longer a priority. It's disappointing because the food is good, but there are plenty of other places that value their customers' time and business. read more

I discovered this place unexpectedly when my wife took us there. The food at the restaurant was incredible! Everything was perfect, and I couldn't get enough. Although the restaurant is small, it's clean, and the service was excellent. The kids loved the food, especially the seasoning on their fries, which was fantastic. I'm not sure if it's seasoned salt or something else, but it was delicious! My only concern, and the reason I'm giving it 4 Afros instead of 5, is that the last time I ordered delivery, the chicken seemed a bit undercooked and left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't know what dressing they use for their salads, but it's so delicious. They offer variety of kabab plates such as combo, chicken or beef. I usually get the beef kabab which comes with rice, salad and humus. Kababs are always so delicious. There is plenty of seating area and it can get busy around lunch time. If you're not in rush, I would recommend waiting for a table. They usually take the order at the counter and bring the food to the table. As far as for the ambiance, it is nothing fancy like other restaurants. It is very clean and tables are cleans and they get cleaned frequently. The only downside of this place is the parking. I got home, popped open the kebab container and saw one kebab. Initially we thought it was pricey restaurant that only gives one chicken kebab skewer. My wife started eating it and thought it was very tender before she realized that it was a salmon kebab. She really liked it but plans on trying the chicken kebabs next time. She also thought the hummus was flavorful and tasty. Overall, she liked her salmon kebab entree. I had the gyros wrap which was in a relatively soft pita bread. The meat was good but the seasoning/flavor was just a bit different other gyros I've had at Greek festivals it was a good gyros I think next trip I will try one if the kebab entrees. It takes a little while to get your food. We waited about 20 minutes which isn't too bad since they were cooking it fresh. Although there are several other restaurants in the mall and the parking lot is not large, you can usually find a parking spot. But let me tell you why it's a 5 star Mediterranean grill: This was actually the first Mediterranean restaurant I tried pre-pandemic (back in the day when I was still eating chicken), and I absolutely loved it! The flavor, the portions, the price. No need to go elsewhere. However, after the pandemic, I became vegetarian, and I never thought falafel was made out of veggies... I KNOW!!! Well, I didn't know back then, so I came here less often; and when I did, I only got their rice, salad, fries, and veggie skewers. It wasn't until I actually read what falafel was made of, that I ended up trying it at another place (out of town), and I can't get enough of their falafel now!! I'm so glad to be back more often because their food is delicious! Another thing I would like to highlight is their consistency in flavor and portions. I was out of town about a month ago, and I was craving Mediterranean food, so I decided to try another place, but their sauces and overall flavor did not compare. Service is excellent. Issues: french fries cold and soft. Returned to be reheated. Lule kabob (ground beef) - flavorful BUT the texture was mushy and served on the cold side. Only some parts were warm. The kabob crumbled when picked up by the fork and when eaten felt like mashed potato. The ground meat was too fine that it looked and tasted like a lot of extenders added such as bread crumbs, and flour - less meat. I am speculating the kabob was reheated. Also, having severe stomach cramps and diarrhea after few hours, I suspect the kabob was undercooked or left at room temp a long time. Too bad - it was rated very high by other customers. read more
