I'm not an expert in Filipino cuisine, but I do know that the food at this restaurant was…read moredelicious. GWe went with a crowd of 10, so basically had the chance to order most of the menu, and not one thing was mediocre. Our favorites were the house special wings (& I'm not a wings person!), chicken katsu, curry noodles, and salmon Sinigang. But the green beans were also delightful. Kat, who I believe is the owner and chef, was so kind and friendly! Their only drawbacks were that they have no liquor license and you can't bring your own (despite the liquor store across the street), and that they close at 8pm on Saturday night. But I'm giving it 5 stars and will definitely go again!

We had originally chosen this place as a quick stop on our way to Coachella since we saw some…read morefestival specials they had going on. However, the staff seemed a bit confused when I ordered off that menu. A second staff member then came out and informed us the festival specials were for Sunday and Monday for those leaving the festival...even though their website clearly says Thursday - Saturday. Not a huge deal and we ended up just ordering off their regular menu, but I feel like if you're going to specifically advertise festival specials, then they should be available on the advertised dates and the staff should be educated. It was pretty disappointing because I specifically came for something on the festival fuel menu. Later when we were waiting for our food, we overheard another customer complaining because they were charged more than what the menu prices stated. It seems they were going to be transitioning to a new menu soon, but the implementation and rollout was just not great.  SINIGANG FRIED CHICKEN WINGS: We really wanted some chicken wings to share and it looks like these are one of their specials, so of course we had to order them! The individual wings were a bit small but each bite was packed with a ton of flavor.  CRAB RANGOONS: Perfectly fried; I finished the whole bag while we were still in the car! SISIG PLATE: Decent flavor and texture but nothing amazing. Be aware some bites may be extra spicy because of the jalapenos! I thought it was interesting that they provided fish sauce on the side, maybe from their Chinese fusion side? My friend ordered one of the Chinese 2 item entree plates and was not as enthused about her food, noting that the portion sizes were small and the taste wasn't that great.  Overall, a decent option to stop by for a meal, but I think it can be hit or miss depending on what you order. Be wary if you're coming by for any specials that they're offering since it seems like the staff isn't always informed.

No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.

The food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS, fresh, and flavorful. Portion sizes will leave you feeling happy and full every time. Employees are friendly, welcoming, and always appear happy. The vibe here is relaxing and fun. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, and the menu is rather large, so guests have many food options. Read below for specifics. Me and my family came to Soboba for my birthday. Arrival at the counter--wait took a long time because the restaurant was busy. Totally understandable. (Especially considering that this restaurant is within the casino.) Table is clean and presentation is nice. I love that the staff greet you from the outside, very good score on customer service. The dining atmosphere was honestly amazing. Decoration is very fancy in a modern vibe and captures a comforting Asian restaurant very well. My issue with the restaurant is their food. I have tried all kinds of Pad Thai. But never once...did I expect a restaurant to make the most bland Pad Thai I have ever tasted. I didn't even think it was possible. The pad thai tasted more soft than chewy, it tasted as if I was eating soba noodles because there is no umami flavor, let alone the sweet and savory taste to the noodles. Not even the chili paste can add even a hint of flavor. The tofu is too soft for my tastes, and lacking in flavor. Same thoughts about the bulgogi, which was also lacking flavor. For quite a large price, I feel very disappointed. However, there was one thing I did enjoy, was the calamari and sauce. Calamari was the perfect mix of chewy and crispy. I savored every bite of that texture. Sauce was tangy and sweet, the kind of flavor I expected in the Pad Thai. I can confirm that the calamari, the atmosphere, and the customer service are recieving the stars. Thank you Noodle Bar for the experiance.

I wouldn't say it's the most traditional (granted, it doesn't claim to be), but overall, it was decent. The Combo Fried Rice and Sticky Ribs took center stage, followed by the Poke Nachos. The Shrimp Wonton Soup fell a bit short, with some of the noodles bundled together, causing parts of it to be undercooked. As for the Salt & Pepper Fish, I personally thought it could have used a bit more salt... Service: Amazing! We sat at the bar and were waited on by an attentive person, with a great demeanor. Sticky BBQ pork rib - it's really a Thai dish but excellently executed, grilled over charcoal and brushed with tangy honey bbq sauce, it's fall-off-the-bone tender and a must-get appetizer/bar bite. Shrimp fried rice - one of the best versions I've had, and that includes Din Tai Fung. It's packed with jumbo prawns and the fried rice was wokked to perfection, so full of umami and flavor. Service was also exceptionally courteous, made me feel like a VIP, even though I was sitting at the bar.

There were several people waiting, and we all stood there for about six minutes without any acknowledgment. Being busy is not an excuse--guests should be greeted right away, even if it's just to let them know someone will be with them shortly. When we were finally acknowledged, our server was nice, but unfortunately that was the highlight of the experience. The food was extremely overpriced for the quality. I ordered one pound of head-on shrimp, and they were overcooked, dry, and completely lacking flavor. The seasoning was so minimal that the Cajun fries had more flavor than the shrimp themselves. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not justify the prices at all. Based on both the service and the food quality, I would not return and would not recommend it.

It wasn't particularly busy when my wife, her mom, and I came for a visit on a Monday. But it was nice to eat rice and noodles, without having to have leftovers. Like most food court restaurants, everything is geared towards having individual portions cost $15 or so. But since a three choice combo plate only cost an extra dollar than the two choice ($15.99 vs $14.99) and we were a family not mind sharing, we got the former, with each of us choosing an entree. The shrimp entree cost $1.50 extra and was worth it, with large jumbo shrimp provided in a tasty brown sauce. The orange chicken was what you would expect, with decent pieces of white meat, but a coating that gets soggy sitting around in the steam table. The chicken and broccoli had small pieces of chicken, but provided a good amount of wok-fired broccoli which I enjoyed. It comes with a choice of non-descript lo mein noodles, rice, or both. Seating is shared across the other restaurants: not a huge amount of seating, but easy to find open ones since it wasn't too busy.
