First time here and I'll definitely be back again! Had a beer and 5 rolled tacos and it was delish!

I tell you what!!!! if you ever want a positive and exciting experience come here authentic Mexican food the picture doesn't describe how amazingly it was lol was being I eat every last bit of it. Very calming relaxing atmosphere TV on multiple walls.

I'm on a very strict diet. Unfortunately, the cook doesn't read the order and exclusion. The worst part is not only did he not read the order. He proceeded to cover it up like a child who hid his mistakes by adding food ontop of it like i wouldn't notice. Thank God It's just a diet and not a food allergy, or I would be dead

Ordered tj style carne asada tacos and 5 rolled tacos to go. Carne asada tacos were ok.  It comes with plenty of meat but I found the meat a little dry.   Salsa helped with that.  The five rolled tacos are pretty hefty and are loaded with all the toppings.  It is a good size snack.  They were tastier than the tacos. Friendly staff.  Decent amount of parking.

Proof showing the time stamps of when we called the restaurant, when my mom called to say they gave away our food.

This place sucks....we placed an order for pickup she never gave us a time to come and when my parents went in 21 minutes later to pick it up our order (time is literally based on the time we called them and when my mom called me: see picture) and they "gave away our order" I 1.) don't understand how you would give away such a huge order and 2.) how would you give food away?! On top of it all I tried calling them back multiple times and never got an answer, from both my phone and my husbands. Shame, this was our first time supporting this local business

I had a pretty nice breakfast here. I ordered the Huevos Mexicanos which consisted of scrambled eggs with tomatoes, green peppers, and a side of rice and re-fried beans. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/LFdR42DD_L07fpU5wbED0A?select=YWZcoezTfsHHlrLAQPN4Bg) It also came with four corn tortillas. Yes, I said four, not your usual three. This was an added bonus for me. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, not runny or burnt. I used the corn tortillas to make some breakfast tacos with their hot sauce. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/LFdR42DD_L07fpU5wbED0A?select=LNG2hrosiDGN1O7AQNFrmQ) Yum! I was able to make and eat four tacos with the amount of food I had. The rice was also cooked very well. The rice had great flavor and was and fluffy. The re-fried beans were very good as well. They were not greasy and had great flavor. The place was clean and service was good. The Huevos Mexicano combo was only $5.85! Great deal. Note: On Tuesday's they have $1.00 street tacos specials.

Not bad. A little more pricey than what I'm comfortable with I had the shredded beef quesadilla because it costed about what I pay for carne asada elsewhere. One thing I didn't care for was the cheese they used I like the quesadillas with cheddar or Mexican blend mine had only a white cheese I believed to be mozzarella. My fault I should have asked how they made theirs. AND too it was a matter of personal taste. While it wasn't huge there were leftovers for breakfast. If I remember right they gave me a senior discount which offset the taxes. For the price I felt complimentary chips would have been nice.

Carne asada fries and potato roll tacos with rice and beans

Yummmm!!! I have now tried both carne asada fries AND micheladas (yes, you read that right) from here!! They were both stupendous! The carne asada fries come with beans, guac, sour cream, cheese, and the main ingredients fries and carne asada. They taste really good, and not too greasy. The micheladas are a bit pricey since you pay the price of the beer plus the michelada as an additive to it, but eeeeh, what the heck just go for it! Ooooh, and you can add chips to your order for $0.50!!! Wooooo!

We were not greeted by an employee at the hostess stand and finally sat ourselves. It took 15 minutes for a server to greet us and ask for our drink order. Once he arrived for our drink order we put in a small food order to test out the quality of proteins. It took 40 minutes to get two hand rolls and one albacore sashimi order. The order took so long to arrive that once it did, we quickly put in a specialty roll order before trying the hand rolls. The specialty roll came out in two minutes flat, I did see a roll sitting on the sushi bar before we ordered. I believe we got someone else's roll because I asked about the long wait times. After the roll was delivered a server came over to our booth specifically to make a snarky comment, he said "you're lucky this was fast, people wait 1 hour for this on Fridays." The restaurant was clean, had a neat wall painting and the parking was free, those are the only positive experiences from our visit. The sashimi was dry as if it had been sitting out not properly stored. Hand rolls were mostly rice, the only protein is what you can see in the pic - gone in one bite of a 4 bite roll. The specialty roll was average. This was a very unpleasant experience, we will not go back and will not recommend to friends/family/yelpers. It should also be noted that we went on a Sunday afternoon and there were 3 sushi chefs behind the counter, 3 servers on the floor and 1 host. Hard to understand why the wait times were excessive and service was poor. Our server did acknowledge that the service was slow, however, he did not offer any apology, he just shrugged it off.

I ordered a bowl and a side of brussel sprouts and specified "no cheese" He was very friendly and professional. When he took my order, he added the note to the receipt "no cheese". Once my food was ready, I double checked the order to make sure there was no cheese. As soon as I opened the Brussel sprouts, I immediately noticed there was parmesan cheese on them. I went back to Justin and showed him there was cheese. He was very apologetic and said he would have them remade immediately. While I waited for the Brussel sprouts to be remade, i noticed 2 employees in the back mocking me and Miranda said to Abraham multiple times "no cheese, no cheese, make sure there's no cheese." They both were laughing hysterically and kept glancing over at me. At this point in time, I was getting agitated that they would make a mockery of such a serious allergy. My dairy allergy is serious and I could be hospitalized if I consume dairy. After waiting another 10 mins, Justin brought over the Brussel sprouts and before handing them to me, he double checked them again. When he opened them he noticed there was still traces of parmesan cheese. Again, Justin was very apologetic and explained that the parmesan cheese must have fallen into the tomatoes. He continued to apologize and offered another side item on the menu. Just was the only professional one and provided exceptional service. As for Miranda and Abraham, they should learn to take people's allergies seriously and not make a mockery of it. Very unprofessional. I hope management escalates this customer experience to ensure other customers don't have to deal with such rude and unprofessional employees like Miranda and Abraham. Please give Justin a raise because he is the only reason why I would ever give my business to this location again.

How are you going to charge $1.50 more for LESS food?!?!…read more I used to pay a $1 for delicious tacos with the works - onion, cilantro, lime, guac. They're now $2.50 which isn't that expensive all things considered BUT they cut the guac and the lime. I ordered the same meal I usually do and got tortilla, meat, onion on half the tacos, and way too much cilantro. The service has always been a bit lacking but it's also gotten significantly worse. The women working do NOT want to work and act like YOU are an inconvenience by existing let alone being a paying customer. I probably would've rated this 5 stars a year ago because the tacos are good, it's close to home, and had decent pricing so I could over look the service. Unfortunately, this place has gone way down hill. Like others have said, there's too many other taco shops to put up with the BS anymore.

Taco Tuesday might actually be the best day of the week. In San Diego, where everyone claims to…read morehave the best Mexican food, it almost feels required to spend Tuesday finding the best tacos deals. I have been on the hunt for Taco Tuesday spots that balance price, quality, and flavor, and this might be the cheapest one I have found so far. We are talking 99 cent tacos. The meats included in the deal were al pastor, carnitas, pollo, buche, and cabeza. Carne asada tacos were $2.45 and lengua tacos were $2.95, which is still very reasonable. At most taco shops you are paying close to $4 for lengua alone. These are TJ style mini tacos but the amount of meat they give you is actually generous. It was busy in here. Nonstop traffic. They also have a drive thru which helps keep the inside from getting too crowded. There is some seating inside and a small patio outside. The place was not exactly clean but it did not feel dirty either. It looked more like the staff just had not had time to tidy up. The bathroom was a different story. Super disgusting. As if they haven't cleaned it in a week. I think McDonald's is cleaner. There was no sign advertising the 99 cent tacos but you can see it on the receipt. Trust me. The salsa area was rough though. The red salsa was completely empty and never refilled while we were there. Instead of a salsa bar they use squeeze bottles for small cups. Only salsa verde was available along with limes and pickled carrots. That whole area looked messy. We ordered a spread to try everything: al pastor, carnitas, buche, cabeza, lengua, carne asada, and a horchata. Our name was called for the order but the horchata was missing. We waited another 10 minutes for it because no one at the counter was free to help. A little frustrating since the rest of the food was already ready. Al Pastor This one surprised me the most. Super juicy and not dry at all. Not the cheap finely chopped al pastor you sometimes see during Taco Tuesday. These were real slices cut from a chunk of meat and the pieces were big. It also came with a little guacamole which was a nice touch. Easily one of the best tacos we tried. Carne Asada A little disappointing. Salty and a bit dry and chewy. I could see it working better on carne asada fries where other toppings balance it out, but as a taco it was not good. Carnitas Really good. Finely pulled and very flavorful. You honestly would not even need salsa. The only downside was the salt which seemed to be a theme with some of the meats. Sodium overload!!! Buche Great flavor but the texture was tough. It felt like it needed more cooking time because it was firm instead of tender. Kinda of like a jerky texture out the outside. Cabeza My standout taco. I usually skip cabeza because it can taste gamey, but this one was delicious. Super tender with a rich stewed beef flavor. It was definitely greasy which probably helped the flavor, though after a few tacos it might feel heavy. Lengua Texture was great and the pieces were big, but it lacked flavor. Usually you taste aromatics like bay leaf and onion in lengua. This one felt plain and salsa kind of took over the flavor. Horchata Unfortunately this was the worst part. I honestly could not drink it. It tasted like a birthday candle that had been burning way too long. You know that smoky birthday cake candle smell? Somehow that exact scent is what the drink tasted like. Very artificial and chemical tasting. Overall this is definitely a Taco Tuesday spot worth visiting if you are nearby. It gets busy, but it is hard to beat 99 cent tacos with this many meat options. The al pastor and cabeza were the standouts for me and I would come back for those. The carnitas were solid too. Everything else was a little mid, but at that price it is still hard to complain
