Unfortunately, Mr. Edward, the owner of Ponderrific Adventures gave a 2-star review for my company, Kat's K9s (in Colorado). We have never done business together because he was too impatient to resolve his technical issues with my willing staff. In fact, I pointed out that my company offers a service that is widely available in the state of Colorado, and he can choose from any of them. What makes me different is that I do things on a very, very small scale from my house. I cater to dogs who are anxious or in need of a smaller environment with less dogs. Simply put, I do things my way. The company is, "Kat's K9s" for a reason. Next, the phone number associated with my business belongs to me and has dual purpose. Therefore, I will answer when I am able. I digress. My intention here is to return the favor since he did try to advertise his services to me during our initial phone conversion and via email (prior to my old dog being rushed to the vet, unbeknownst to any of us). I would have loved to have an opportunity to receive services from this company, but based on the interactions I have had with Mr. Edward, I am less likely. To clarify, Mr. Edward had a polite tone and gave me the impression that he was very understanding during our initial phone call. However, when he was unable to reach me due to my personal emergency and calling multiple times, his disrespect was clear. Mr. Edward caught me at a vulnerable time when I could not get to my phone. Any pet owner interested in my services should (and has) understand this scenario. Honestly, this could've all been resolved, had he gone through the proper channels to contact my staff as instructed. Anyway, due to this experience with the owner, I'm no longer inclined to consider this company for my landscaping or backyard water feature needs at any point in the future. I'm sure there are many landscapers to choose from in my area, and his company is probably as good as it looks (truly, it looks amazing). But, one of the contributing factors to choosing a company is how they align with my values. Ponderrific Adventures missed the mark. read more

I just can't say enough good things about Ed and his team at Ponderiffic Adventures! It was such a blessing for us to have found them, and we'll definitely be using them again for any type of pond and / or landscape work that we do! My wife and I have a 1.5 year old son, who has recently become enthralled with water and fish. We hired Ed and his team at Ponderiffic Adventures to do a really complex conversion project to turn an unused fountain into a living pond. Actually, at first, we weren't sure exactly what we wanted to do, we just knew that we wanted to be able to get fish into fountain. Ed came over to our home in Rancho Cucamonga and at no cost to us came up with several amazing design suggestions that articulated exactly what we wanted to do. Our project involved modifying our fountain to include a variety of new equipment that would allow for the pond conversion, and at each step along the way, Ed's work, recommendations, precision, and attention to details were striking and so appreciated by our family. In order to convert the fountain and NOT have to completely rebuild the facility, Ed came up with a brilliant concept to make an imperceptible modification to the fountain which allowed for all of the filtration / pump equipment to be installed in a blended-in and out-of-the-way manner. When the overall project was complete, not only did the fountain-to-pond conversion turn out better than I could have ever hoped, in meeting Ed, we found a person who I can say with absolute certainty that I trust. You get a sense about a person when they work at your home, and I can say truly that Ed is one of a kind - a contractor who at each step of the project looked out for my best interests, and who delivered a product that exceeded my expectations at a fair and reasonable price. It is an exceptional little pond that never gave me any problems. The second time, Ponderiffic came out to do some general maintenance on the pond before the new owners took possession of my house.
