Ponderosa is beyond amazing. We've had three different technicians come out to fix two refrigerator issues. The first two repair companies, told us the downstairs refrigerator was old and it wasn't worth replacing the compressor Ponderosa Appliance found a loose wire, reconnected it and it's working great. The first two repair companies, told us they would be back to fix a refrigerator ice maker, and we never heard from them again. Ponderosa diagnosed the refrigerator and said the icemaker needs a new part. They gave us a quote which surprised us how inexpensive it was considering how expensive the refrigerator was. This is a company with Integrety, expertise and they deliver! I wish I could give them more stars because they beyond deserve it. read more

My mother ordered me a drawer dishwasher,They came to install it June 10,2025,but there was problem with it so they took it back to repair.I don't really want somethng that needs repair.It has been two weeks now without a dishwasher.This company is a joke..I would not recommend them to anyone... read more

My reviews are usually only on food because, well... I like food. But this is still kinda food related. We recently bought a new house in this disaster of high interest rates. lol. House had white appliances so I high tailed it to Ponderosa for a new range. They had a beautiful Forno on the floor with the fancy Italian burners and way more BTUs than most ranges so I brought it home. Fast forward to the holidays. I don't use the oven much in summer as to not heat the house so as we hit holiday season we realized the oven wasn't holding temp. It would go straight to 500° so I gave them a call. We went back forth a few times with Ponderosa and Forno and the range is being completely replaced. Great service! So I guess this is a review on both Ponderosa and Forno but either way I highly recommend both. read more

Well I agree with Melanie - Ponderosa definitely deserves a 10-star** review for the company and all their staff. My washing machine was definitely not working correctly so had Scott come for repair. After diagnosing, he honestly said it wasn't worth the parts or labor to repair and buying new would be much cheaper - which it was. Kevin helped me with selection and purchase and I couldn't be happier with my new machine. Then delivery and installation (and removal of my old machine) were efficiently handled by Nick and Aron, and in only 30 minutes!! Just bought and had a new dishwasher installed by Robert and Jason. They did a great job for a great price. They also do appliance repair. They were very neat in their installation, very respectful and made sure nothing got scratched or damaged. They even took the time to show me the features. LG washer got the dreaded EC code of death. Scott of Ponderosa came out, evaluated the situation, and made his recommendations. Unfortunately, they don't do warranty work. After going 'round & 'round with LG regarding warranty repair, I contacted another local appliance repair shop that does, and basically got the brush-off after several calls without any further response from the talking head initial contact. Called Ponderosa again, they immediately ordered the part I needed, and said they'd call when it arrives. Four days later it arrives, they call the fifth day, and later on the fifth day came out and performed the repair. I'm very pleased with both Dennis and Scott and how they treated me. read more

Highly recommend this company! Robert diagnosed the problem with my LG washing machine over the phone and was there that afternoon - with the correct part! He called me when he said he would, showed up when he said he would, and explained everything in detail. Oh, and my washing machine is working great! My other appliances are all GE Cafe and he said they can fix those too. Hopefully I won't be having any issues with any of my GE appliances, but if I do, I will call Ponderosa first. read more

We needed a new fridge & found Ponderosa. What a great find. Kevin was our sales rep and was great. He was well informed, courteous, & followed up returning calls when he said he would. The building alone is worth visiting! Beautiful. Great care was taken by the staff to remove old large built in fridge. The new fridge was carefully placed, unwrapped & detailed instructions were given regarding operation. The workmen were friendly & professional. They took pride in their work & it showed. We also bought a large wine cooler here & are very pleased. They gave us a great price on our purchases. There is something to be said for dealing with a small locally owned business! Much much better than the box stores. I have high expectations as a consumer & Ponderosa Appliance met and exceeded! I walked into this place and was immediately greeted with a smile. Mike and the crew are very knowledgeable about their products. I liked how I wasn't followed to make a sale. They gave me my space and answered all my questions. Instead of waiting 3 months for a refrigerator like in other big box stores, Dennis set me up with SAME DAY DELIVERY! I was so happy. Even though the delivery was a couple hours late, I can't complain. These guys managed to deliver my fridge despite the pouring rain. And for that my family and I are now enjoying our new fridge.
