So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

Called 2 different AC places for quotes to get our air ducts cleaned. The company that starts with…read morea "G" and is hard to spell, quoted us $2500, but then told us we needed other things done. Ultimately they wanted to install a new $25,000 AC unit and would clean the ducts for "free". The second company that came out, name starts with "F", and that's what they wanted to do. We didn't even let the guy finish the inspection to get a quote because he too wanted to upsell us. We then called Gesundheit. Mr. Barker gave a quote over the phone based on the number of vents in the house. Added cleaning the dryer vent for an additional $129. The two guys that came out did a great job cleaning the vents and cleaning up after the job was done. They took care to treat our home with respect as they performed their job. We started to have drying problems with our dryer. Called Arrowseal to come out and do a vent cleaning. We used them about 2 years and boy did a bunch of crap come out of the vent when they serviced us. Paul showed up on time and after so explaining what was happening he asked if we had roof recently replaced. We did and he thought it was a problem with a screen being inadvertently placed in the dryer vent. He went up and sure enough there was screen blocked with lint. Smart guy! Anyways we had the vent cleaned and will probably add that to our home maintained routine. We previously had them install a solar tube and were very pleased with the results.
