I love the drinks here. They have both alcoholic and nonalcoholic options. It's always refreshing on a hot summer day. There isn't really an ambiance because it's just a stand, but the service is always good, as you would expect from Disney. The drink had these juice "balls" the burst as you drink the smoothie, and it really added a different flavor and texture to the overall experience

PonguPongu has Pandora's best KID-FRIENDLY DRINK, Our clan of 3 this days does THINK. Being not only huge fans of Avatar, but boba tea drink lovers as well, we were thrilled to know that our two loves were combined and available for us to enjoy at Disney Animal Kingdom's Pongu Pongu. We heard rave reviews about their boba drink, the Night Blossom. It's a non-alcoholic slushie drink topped with popping boba and is $7. It was a unique flavor, a bit on the sweet side (the taste reminded me of gummy bears), but was an overall fun and colorful experience to be tried at least once- especially if you need a frozen drink to cool down. Fast and top-notch friendly service here, too. Stop on by!

I had to try the viral night blossom frozen drink in Animal Kingdom. It is located in Pandora next to Satu'li Canteen. The line wasn't too bad and we got our drink quickly. Very refreshing on a hot humid day. It's sweet with some sourness to it from the limeade. I love the look with the popping boba on top. I do prefer a regular icee slushy over this but it was fun to try!

This absolutely lived up to hype for me and I'd agree with many food bloggers that the night blossom and pongu lumpia need to go on your must try list when at animal kingdom. The night blossom was sweet, refreshing, and had just the right amount of boba. My favorite part was the desert pear limeade layer. The star of the show for me was the pongu lumpia (pineapple cream cheese spring roll) - creamy, warm, and delicious. The line gets long and you unfortunately cant order ahead but it moves fast.

We got their Night blossom & Pretzel with beer cheese which came out almost immediately despite their busy line. Staff were patient and kind. The slush was a perfect blend of sweet and tart combined with the sporadic burst of the mango poppings. The pretzels are the size of a dinner plate, warm, and chewy. The cheese dip is a perfect side and size! Would love to come to enjoy these snacks in such an exotic and stimulating environment.

Pongu Pongu is located right outside the exit of the Avatar Flight of Passage ride in Animal Kingdom. It's just a walk-up window that sells some food and drinks. I got the marshall's favorite stuffed pancake sandwich ($8.99) which was interesting. It was basically a breakfast biscuit with pancake as the bread and guava jelly inside. It was a bit thick and a little dry. I also got the mo'ara margarita ($15) which was okay but I liked the popping boba.

Our first time at Animal Kingdom and we stopped by this quick serve earlier in the morning. We tried the stuffed pancake sandwich with sausage, guava jelly, egg and cheese. I thought it was going to be just okay - but we actually recalled enjoyed it. Definitely a must to try!

Everything I had was aight! I think I might've just gotten a not so fresh batch. I ordered the Pongu Lumpia and a Rum Blossom. The Rum Blossom had a nice flavor but was a wee bit too sweet for me! It was SUPER pretty and I did enjoy getting a nice little pop from the popping boba. After a while, the popping boba took on an interesting texture (it became...wrinkly??) haha It didn't bother me much but it was very off-putting to some of my friends. My Pongu Lumpia had good flavor but was not cooked long enough to get it crispy. I'm Filipino and a golden brown lumpia IS A MUST lol Overall, the one I got was pretty pale and limp. Had it been fried better, it would've been a much tastier experience!

Stopped by this food stand after the Avatar Flight of Passage ride, as it was directly outside the gift shop. This was essentially breakfast for us. French Toast Stick ($6.50) - I mean...they're French toast sticks. What do you expect? If you're desperate for food, then I guess this is a safe item to order. Pongu Lumpia ($4) - Pineapple-Cream Cheese Spring Roll. I never had a pineapple flavored egg/spring roll so this is a first and I loved it. I feel like this is the most popular item everyone orders here. Hawkes' Grog Ale ($10.50) - Draft Beer 22oz. Fruity Hop with notes of Apricot and Peach. What attracted me to this drink was that it was green. And I just wanted a beer at ten in the morning. Don't judge me.

Daniel P.

I was with a party so was able to try several drinks. I got the green beer which was refreshing and had a slight fruity flavor but with more beer flavor. The rum and tequila slushes were pretty sweet and could easily be shared if you don't want to drink too much sweet. If you're thinking about it... I'd say go for it!

Pretzel and beer cheese
Aly W.

Big tasty pretzel. Amazing beer cheese! We were already a fan of the neighboring Satu-li Grill, and I stand by my assertion that the food there is great as is, but if you can dip your hot dog, quesadilla, or veggie chips into the beer cheese from Pongu Pongu, do it! We even went back for a second beer cheese. Pongu Pongu cinches Pandora as the best place in the parks for cheap but tasty food.

We ordered the Night blossom after checking out foods and drinks to not miss at Disney Animal Kingdom and we were not disappointed. Very good during a hot summer day! The drink is so refreshing and the boba popped in my mouth! No line either!

Great spot for special events and celebrations. Our server was great (wish I could remember his name right now, started with an A and he's been there 10+ years). A seasoned pro. I will say the one downside was we had a very poor experience with the hostess (name started with a Z) and I sincerely hope she is no longer employed with the company, such a poor reflection of Disney. When we arrived, another host was ready to seat us and the other rude hostess (Z) snatched the menus away and said the table wasn't ready. Mind you, so many tables were empty & they were not busy so I'm not sure why she created such a fuss in front of the guests. We did eventually get sat but such a poor way to start off a very expensive dining experience. I later told the manager on duty about this and he did not seem particularly surprised which leads me to believe this happens regularly, but he always wasn't particularly sympathetic, so I'm not sure he cared really. Overall, a good experience minus the interactions with that hostess.

And they were so easy to eat, no mess. I would have liked them even more if the bao itself wasn't so thick; the bao to filling ratio could have been tweaked a bit for my taste, but obviously they have it how they want it. There were other things on their menu that looked promising as well but this was all we got. I don't know if it's standard or not, but they wouldn't let us into the patio area (or the indoor section) until our order was ready for pickup. That was frustrating and annoying and even more so when we were able to go inside since the place was at least half empty. And I didn't experience that at any other quick service location throughout the parks. Having said that, if we didn't have a meal planned elsewhere I'd look through the menu here again to see what might pique our interest.

The view was great, got to watch the boats come and go, people coming to and from the pool, and just watch life pass by. The food was very tasty, if a bit on the bland side, but I enjoyed it. I had the conch fritters, hush puppies, and the buttermilk chicken and eggs with a glass of the red sangria. It was tasty yes, but wish there was a bit more flavor to it. We were taken care of by Ryan and while he started off a bit reserved, by the end he had opened up and made the meal delightful. The only concern is the parking. In a word, horrible. I circled the lot once, there were several cars waiting, so I went down and parked about four buildings away. There isn't room to expand the lot, so give yourself time to get there.

One thing I believe in is when a restaurant is consistently packed, that signifies the food is good. Along with other groups of people, I had to wait to be seated, but it wasn't for long. I followed the hostess through the spacious restaurant until he placed me at a small booth table. My server was very pleasant. She approached the table, warmly greeted me, and asked if I would like some orange juice, which I gladly accepted. At the same time, I placed an order for their apple cinnamon french toast. Wow, I was impressed with the presentation. Three thick slices of bread nicely browned with cinnamon-spiced apple filling and dusted with powdered sugar. This dish didn't need any syrup. The flavors from the apples was just enough and it was so ooey-gooey good. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed and I received satisfactory service. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit.

The restaurant itself is pretty average in terms of decor and could definitely use a refresh, both in seating and overall appearance. Upon first impression, cleanliness was lacking in certain areas, which set the tone a bit. Once seated, a busser took our drink orders, and our server came by shortly after to introduce herself and let us know she'd return to take our order. After ordering, the food came out in about 20 minutes, which was reasonable given how busy they were. Portion sizes were generous, definitely more food than we could finish. However, service became inconsistent as we were attended to by multiple staff members, likely due to the rush. We experienced the longest delays waiting for basics like syrup, drink refills, and utensils after the food had already been delivered. As for the food, it was good but fairly average for a breakfast spot. While everything was prepared well, it lacked the standout flavor you'd expect after nearly an hour wait. Additionally, the women's restroom was noticeably dirty and not well-maintained, which was disappointing and reinforced the overall impression that cleanliness could use more attention.

This is home to one of my wife's and I favorite snack at Animal Kingdom. This small snack stand is right before you enter Dinoland. It is outside and only has 2 or 3 tables. It is considered a snack stand so their menu is very small. Their menu includes mostly drinks, including soda, water, beer and a cocktail. We never get drinks here, I personally feel there are much better places in Animal Kingdom to get a cocktail. This is also a good stop if you are looking for something sweet. Their sweet options include Dole Whip, ice cream and churros. What we come here for is one of our favorite snacks in Animal Kingdom. The buffalo chicken chips: house-made chips served with buffalo chicken and blue cheese dressing which is then topped with tomato and celery relish. The portion size is large for a snack and is $10.49. I guess it could be considered a meal like lunch since it has a lot of chicken. My wife and I always share this, it is very good, the chips are crunchy and always fresh. The chicken is usually cool, not hot, but it is still very good. You can tell it is cooked chicken that has been cooled and sort of reheated, which I am usually not a fan of, but this one is actually really good. The buffalo sauce is not spicy at all, there is a small buffalo kick, but it's very mild. The blue cheese dressing is also very creamy, there are not chunks of blue cheese, however, this would definitely take this dish over the top! This stand is themed to Dinoland, so my hope is that when Dinoland gets refurbished, this stand will remain with these buffalo chips and just change the name or design. I think this is one of the best snack options in all the parks and definitely at the top of our list! We always stop here, and I would recommend checking it out very soon, just in case! Aces!!
