If you're visiting Animal Kingdom and skip Satu'li Canteen, you're missing one of the best dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World. From the moment we grabbed our food, we knew this wasn't your typical theme park meal. Every dish looked like it belonged in an upscale restaurant, and the flavors backed up the presentation. Now I had The Ocean Moon Bowl and it was the standout of the meal. The tuna was incredibly fresh, the blue noodles were cooked perfectly, and every bite had a balance of creamy avocado, crisp vegetables, tangy pickled toppings, and the rich umami from the miso and sweet soy drizzle. It was colorful, refreshing, and easily one of the best quick-service meals I've ever had. The Cheeseburger Pods absolutely lived up to the hype. Think of all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger wrapped inside soft, pillowy steamed bao buns. They were unique, comforting, and unlike anything else you'll find in the parks. Paired with the crunchy vegetable slaw topped with boba fruit pops and chips, it made for a fun and satisfying dish. Then came dessert... and WOW!!! The Mangkwan Mousse was rich without being overly sweet. The cinnamon chocolate mousse, caramelized banana cake, and chocolate-sesame crumble created a dessert that was beautifully balanced and packed with flavor. The Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse was equally impressive. The presentation alone was stunning, but the combination of creamy cheesecake, blueberry, and bright passion fruit curd made it the perfect way to end the meal. It was light, refreshing, and almost too beautiful to eat. Beyond the food, Satu'li Canteen delivers an atmosphere that perfectly complements Pandora. The attention to detail, creative menu, and quality ingredients make it feel far above what you'd expect from a quick-service restaurant. Final Verdict: If I could recommend just one quick-service restaurant at Walt Disney World, Satu'li Canteen would be at the top of my list. Incredible presentation, fresh ingredients, unique flavors, generous portions, and desserts that rival many table-service restaurants. This wasn't just a great theme park meal,it was a genuinely outstanding dining experience.
Always an amazing spot. Gets you away from the typical burger and chicken strip most parks serve.
This was one of my favorite overall meals on my family's Disney trip. I love chimichurri, and this chimichurri was just what I hoped for. The beef was also well cooked and tender. I chose the hash/potatoes as my base, which were also good. I opted for no slaw or boba. The chips in the photo don't come with the dish...my kids said they were too spicy, but I thought they were delicious! They were a mixture of kettle-cooked chips and blue corn chips with seasoning. The picture of the bowl is half eaten, so it's a good portion. The Pandorian Punch was also one of my favorite drinks I had at the parks. I don't like things very sweet and for me it was a great balance of sweet and a little tangy. The atmosphere was also really cool and a comfortable escape from the Florida heat.
Next Stop: Pandora! After finishing at Pandora: Flight of Passage, we stopped at Satu'li Canteen for a "snack", and also to check off an item of our list of places to eat at WDW. There is outdoor and indoor seating available, but most were clamouring for indoor seating since it was hot day. Thankfully, I was able to secure a table while my partner went to go order the food. We shared: Spicy Pork Steamed "Pods" Chimuchurri Beef and Grilled chicken bowl We had conducted our research prior go our trip, and knew we wanted to try both of these items. The pods were good, but we enjoyed the protein bowl more, as it was a larger portion, and the components of the dish made it more appetising to us. Overall, I thought they were good choices. BOTTOM LINE A decent snack/meal at Satu'li Canteen. I'd recommend the protein bowl for sure, but do try the pork pods since those seem to be quite popular in Pandora.
I had Satu'li Canteen on my list to visit so that we could try the cheeseburger bao that my friend sent me a reel about. I only saw them in the kid's meal option when I was looking at the menu but I wish I'd seen that they sold them separately from that so we could have had a couple. They were really good! And they were so easy to eat, no mess. I would have liked them even more if the bao itself wasn't so thick; the bao to filling ratio could have been tweaked a bit for my taste, but obviously they have it how they want it. There were other things on their menu that looked promising as well but this was all we got. I don't know if it's standard or not, but they wouldn't let us into the patio area (or the indoor section) until our order was ready for pickup. That was frustrating and annoying and even more so when we were able to go inside since the place was at least half empty. And I didn't experience that at any other quick service location throughout the parks. Having said that, if we didn't have a meal planned elsewhere I'd look through the menu here again to see what might pique our interest.

I actually really enjoyed this place as they had a huge indoor and outdoor seating area. It's the main place to eat in the pandora area. It had a ton of tables inside in the AC and outside in shaded patio. There's beverage stations where you could refill your bottles/cups and all self serve which was great. They have staff directing you inside to the ordering area and it was really simple. You choose a protein on top of noodles, rice, or salad and a sauce. I ordered a little bit of everything to try it and asked the staff for recommendations on sauces. Food was pretty good and presentation was decent. I would recommend checking it out.
After a long day on our feet, the Ocean Moon Bowl and sliced grilled beef bowl were exactly what we needed. The Ocean Moon Bowl is essentially a poke bowl, but with a twist - blue noodles that make for a striking presentation. The noodles were a touch tough, but everything else was fresh and well-balanced. The steak bowl held its own too, with a rub that added real depth of flavor. Presentation across both bowls was a clear highlight. We ordered through the app and had the food in hand within 10 minutes, no complaints there. Solid meal, great experience overall.
Great place to get away from the heat for lunch and located in Pandora's Island (Avatar area). During peak lunch hours, cast members will actually block off the entrance and only allow you to enter IF your mobile order is ready for pick up which is understandable considering the dining hall is the first thing you see and the counter to order is all the way in the back and spills into the dining hall. We ordered both combinations of the Chimichurri bowl and the Pandoran drink. Each one was refreshing for the Orlando heat.
Nice spot to sit down and eat a meal. There's a large patio outside in the shade with fans, and a huge seating area inside with AC. The line to get food can be pretty long, so I suggest planning ahead and placing a mobile order ahead of time. The ocean bowl is super fresh and flavorful. The chimichurri beef bowl is flavorful and portions are generous. The ube cold brew did not have a strong ube flavor. There is no table service -- you pick up your food, find a table, and clean up your table when you're done. Due to the number of patrons inside you may have to wipe down a table yourself.
Located Right next to the Pandora ride. The menu is posted outside. It's pretty substantial but not filling for dinner. The park closes at 8 pm. We sat down with our food 11 minutes til closing. The last bus runs til one hour after closing so we majorly rushed to complete our meal and beelined it to the exit.
Had such a delicious experience at Satu'li Canteen!! I knew I wanted to eat here after having such a cool experience at Hollywood Studios eating the Star Wars quick service food. ++Ocean Moon bowl: wow flavors and colors, everything just worked. Blue noodles was cute!! ++Chimichurri Beed and chopped wood grilled chicken --- came with a black bean vinaigrette that at first sounds weird but this flavor profile was PROLIFIC ++Pandoran Sunrise: yummy pineapply drink they tasted perfect on a hot day Ordering food on the mobile app was so easy and the communication was fast and we got to the location on time and had no wait. Really cool feature
We came for the breakfast after seeing Pixie Dusted Phoebe rave about it on Youtube. My daughters and I each ordered a Cinnamon French toast with sausage. The Specialty Cold Brew flight caught my eye so I decided to go for it even though I had coffee on the way to the park. The Ube Cold Brew was probably my favorite, followed by the regular cold brew, and the Matcha cold brew last. They have milk at the utensil area which was nice because I could control how much went in. The French toast was really tasty thanks to the blueberry cream cheese and passion fruit anglaise. First thing in the morning the service is quick and you can sit wherever you want after getting food. They do a great job keeping the dining room clean and stocked. I would go here again for breakfast if we come to Animal Kingdom again in the morning.

Easily the best quick servicing dining in Animal Kingdom, and my mom said the best across all the Walt Disney World parks in her opinion. I enjoyed the beauty of the interior, so when I returned for a single day to WDW at Animal Kingdom, this was my stop for a quick refreshing beverage. When you are a Yelp Elite, your phone eats first, or drinks in this case! I was snapping some photos, and a cast member came up to take a selfie with me. We joked about how you can't say you actually had a fancy, fruity drink in WDW if you didn't take a picture. Appreciate the friendliness and boy, did this drink help during a humid June day at Animal Kingdom! Update! Today I finally branched out from the chimichurri beef bowl and got the chili garlic shrimp bowl. Really impressed with the quality and cook of the shrimp, especially for a theme park! Every piece was cooked well and the base (potato hash) and dressing (charred onion vinaigrette) were perfect as usual. I personally don't love the boba balls with the savory flavors of the dish so I opt for them to not be included (super nice that they allow this option on the mobile app!). Way to go Satu'li team! read more

Really good park food. This restaurant is in Animal Kingdom, near the Pandora area. There is plenty of seating inside and some outside also. We tried the Cheesburger Bao Buns - it came with a slaw with mango boba pearls in it and veggie chips. The whole meal was delicious. The buns were super fluffy and big. The cheeseburger mix inside went really well with the bun and was cheesy and hot. The slaw was refreshing and crisp. I thought the mango boba would be weird, but it really was good and cut through the vinegar in the slaw. The veggie chips were crispy and flavorful, as well as plentiful - I didn't eat them all. Definitely will try other options next time I'm here. We both got the same thing and both enjoyed it. read more
Overall experience 4 Stars. Located in the Avatar world @ Animal Kingdom, this quick service meal is pretty darn good. Staff: 5 Stars Hard working employees who were efficient, professional and very patient with the guests. Thank you for your service! Food: 3 - 5 Stars We did the "build your own bowl" 1. Chopped Wood grilled Chicken w red peppers and sweet potato hash as the base, and black bean vinaigrette - chicken was moist and black bean has slight citrus flavor to it. A good combination with the hash. 4.5 Stars 2. Chili-garlic shrimp w noodles as the based and charred green vinaigrette 3.75 Stars. More of Asian style dish with the chili-garlic and noodles. Noodles were al dente and were heavily coated with the vinaigrette which can overpower the dish. 3. Chili-garlic shrimp w red peppers and sweet potato hash and charred green vinaigrette - 4 stars. The large shrimps were plump and tendered. 4. Chili-garlic shrimp w rice and black beans as the based, creamy herb dressing - 5 stars. The dressing was savory and shrimp were plump and flavorful. Light meal but satisfying. 5. The dessert - blue berry cream cheese mousse. 3.25 stars - it was pretty to look at it but was gelatinous. Probably from the heat of the day. 6. Drink - 3.75 Stars Pandoran Sunrise DOLE® Pineapple Juice and Minute Maid® Limeade blended with POWERADE® Melon and POWERADE® Fruit Punch. It was fruity, cold, and refreshing. 7. Cheeseburger Steamed Pods - Bao Buns - 3 Stars Steamed Cheeseburger Pod stuffed with Ground Beef, Ketchup, Mustard, Pickle, and Cheddar Cheese served with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Vegetable Chips. You get two bao buns with chips. The sought to meat and cheese ratio was 60/40. More dough than meat. They were ok. Great place to take a break from the heat, walking, and waiting in line. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend the outdoor seating because it can get quite loud inside. It is our go-to place at Animal Kingdom! Totally recommend to Mobile Order! read more
Satu'li Canteen is a popular quick service restaurant in Animal Kingdom, but it's also for adventurous eaters. I love how colorful the plates are, and it's served in a Chipotle-style ordering fashion: you pick a protein, base, and sauce. I think the options are catered for a healthier and lighter meal, which sometimes you don't want. - Create-Your-Own Satu'li Bowl This is their main mix-and-match bowl, and it tastes like healthy food you'd get at those customizable healthy food chains. They top each bowl off with some strips of slaw and mildly sweet popping boba. I don't think the flavors are too enticing in description, so I've only tried the rice, noodles, beef, and charred green onion vinaigrette. The rice and black beans are on the hard and dry side, and so are the yakisoba/chow mein-like noodles. While the protein would taste better hot, the beef is more like cold premium roast beef slices. The charred green onion vinaigrette is zesty, but ideally there'd be more to cover the rice. I'm surprised that this is popular, despite enjoying how healthy it is, as I really don't think the choices are likable for everyone. - Ocean Moon Bowl I wouldn't expect much from a poke bowl served at Disney, but this was pretty good! I loved how playful all the colors are in this dish, and they're all natural! The tuna and veggies were fresh, and the noodles actually had a nice al dente chew. There were so many textures and refreshing flavors in this bowl, and I'd happily order it again. - Pandoran Sunrise This just tastes like a diluted fruit punch. The Coca-Cola cup kind of tastes away from the Pandoran experience! - Teylu All-Beef Hot Dog wrapped in Dough This reminds me of Chinese hot dog buns! I liked it, though the dough could be fluffier. I can't say it's a filling meal, but it'll do as a snack. - Metkayina Mousse This dessert is fun and good if you like chocolate. The mousse is tasty and light, and well decorated with chocolate leaves and "dirt" crumbles. The raspberry gel in the middle balances out the richness of the chocolate, and evens out the ratio of mousse with something different. If you like fruits and chocolate, get this! - Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse It has a very artsy presentation, though I can't really taste the cream cheese. I wonder if it's making the mousse thicker? It's more of a fruity mousse with a very tart passion fruit curd on top. Fun to eat once. It's pretty spacious with good AC inside, but it gets surprisingly full due to popularity. I think the space could be upgraded to be more maneuverable, since you have to walk around some areas unnecessarily to get somewhere due to the decorative barriers/half-walls they designed. The architecture is some weird mix of hybrid human tech and natural Na'vi decor. I'll commend them for their creativity, but I would love to see a better selection! read more
Great quick-service park food located in Animal Kingdom! I ordered through the Disney World app for as soon as possible and it was ready in under 7 minutes. I got the Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl and you can select your base and sauce from several options. I chose the rice and beans for my base and the charred green onion vinaigrette for my sauce. This meal reminded me of Chipotle with an added sweet taste of boba balls. The app will let you know when your food is ready and where to get it. It was easy to grab and find seating. I absolutely recommend this place if you're hungry in Animal Kingdom! read more

Great meal! Make sure you do mobile order so it's faster. Located in Avatar Pandora. We enjoyed everything we ordered: wood-grilled chicken & garlic shrimp with rice & beans, garlic shrimp with noodles, wood-grilled chicken & garlic shrimp with sweet potato hash. We also enjoyed our drinks: pandoran sunrise (fruit juice with Powerade) & the ube cold brew. When you order, you first choose your protein (beef, chicken, shrimp, tofu or combo), then your base (rice & beans, salad, sweet potato hash or noodles), then your sauce (black bean vinaigrette, creamy herb dressing, charred green onion vinaigrette, or no dressing). read more
I've officially decided... this might just be my favorite restaurant in all of Walt Disney World Orlando. It's quick service, tons of indoor seating, and honestly such a great find. I ordered the chimichurri beef with shrimp over rice and beans, plus the creamy herb dressing--so good! And I love that you can serve your own drinks and get refills. They even have sugar-free lemonade and Vitamin Water... total win. The food felt surprisingly healthy and super satisfying for the price. I also saw a bunch of people getting the bao-style burgers, and they looked really filling for $8.99. Pro tip: you can order the kids' version for just under $6. No one was stopping adults from ordering it, and it looked like a solid portion--great money saver. Now... the mousse. Blueberry and passion fruit with a side of pure heaven. Best quick service at AK and possibly the whole world...Food hits every time and doesn't leave you feeling gross. It's my favorite Disney restaurant including table service... the theme is immersive, with chill sounds and chill AC. read more
We order with the mobile app for pick up. App function fairly well and very precise pick up timing. They offer both indoor and outdoor option, but since it just rained that became a bottleneck on season. We ordered the classic noodle bowl with shrimp and the big blue ocean blue bowl. The blue noodles flat taste other than just color. Counter service order, and pick up is also available. read more

This is probably the best breakfast in AK. There's something for everyone. When you come in you'll order with the cast member then pick up your food and go find a table. There's plenty of seating and the sodas are fountain drinks. We got the kids French toast, the frittata and beef, and the pork shoulder potato hash. All of it was delicious. Kiddos love the French toast sweetness and we liked the flavor combination with the toppings. The frittata is very flavorful and the cheese and beef are chefs kiss. Honestly the savory breakfast I was craving. The potato hash itself was delightful but this dish did have some spice to it so the kiddos weren't big fans. We'll definitely return and keep this a regular breakfast spot when at AK. read more
Always love the food here you get to choose what protein that you want and also choose the side item which I got potatoes and then you also get the cheese the sauce. I got the green onion sauce today with the chicken. It was phenomenal. It's a great meal for Disney. You can mobile order and it makes it so much easier to pick up than waiting online to let them know your options that you want to choose from the ambience is really nice. Yummy!! My kids and I were famished after a day of rides and fun in the sun. We decided to grab a last minute bite at Satu'li Canteen. I was pleasantly surprised that the kids' meals were less than $10 each, which included a drink. The kids are easy and just wanted a cheese quesadilla, which didn't disappoint. I opted for the cheeseburger bao buns. I normally wouldn't have gone for them, as I'm basic and prefer a plain burger (these have some other tasty ingredients). I'm SO glad I ordered these bao buns! They were light, fluffy, and delectable. I also ordered a margarita, which was refreshing. Phew, it was tasty in that Florida heat! If you're in need of a quick & affordable meal while in the park, I definitely recommend this spot. read more
Satu'li Canteen was a delicious and fresh option for a quick bite. I had the ocean moon bowl and the ube cold brew. The ocean moon bowl had fresh tuna and great flavors. It was light, but filling enough to power me through the rest of the day. The ube cold brew was probably my favorite drink that I enjoyed. We stopped here for lunch during our AK day and what a treat! I got the crispy fried tofu bowl with rice and beans and the charred green onion vinaigrette and my partner got the same thing but with chicken. We also ordered the Pandoran Sunrise. Everything was delicious. This was probably the best food we had at Disney outside the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. We mobile ordered and ate outside. We will definitely stop here anytime we come back to Animal Kingdom. read more
I tried this spot for the first time next to the Avatar ride and it was great! I waited in the ordering line (instead of online ordering) to talk to the staff about allergies but the wait was worth it. I had the Chimichurri Beef bowl and it hit the spot. It had a good amount of protein in it and some veggies. I would definitely come back here. They have healthy options that taste good. read more
Fantastic counter service restaurant located in Pandora at Animal Kingdom. You are immersed in the Pandora experience both in decor and menu options. We had the Ocean Moon bowl with blue noodles, fresh tuna, pickled daikon and more. It was as delicious as it was beautiful. For dessert we ordered Mangkwon mousse, and beautiful and tasty!!! To top everything off we ordered the speciality cold brew flight.... Yummy. It comes with cold brew, matcha cold brew and one cold brew. After doing the Avatar ride, we came here for lunch, which is right outside the ride. It was a nice, healthy option amongst a lot of other places that have much less healthy food. You basically choose a protein, and you can have it over either salad, rice and beans, or noodles. Shrimp was really delicious. The chimichurri beef was also good, and the tofu was a little spicy but good. They have a kids' bao bun with a hamburger inside, which was good, and also a cheese quesadilla. The portions were not that big, but for a relatively quick lunch in between rides, it was a good choice. read more
I would never have guessed that one of the best places for breakfast in Walt Disney World is located in Animal Kingdom's Pandora section based on James Cameron's Avatar franchise. I am a fan of the Avatar films, but you do not have to be to enjoy one of the best breakfast spots in Disney World. If visiting the Animal Kingdom park, it is worth a short stroll to the Pandora section to dine at Satu'li Canteen. Even nonfans of Avatar can enjoy the sci-fi/otherworldly rainforest theming of this counter service restaurant. The main dining area has plenty of spacious seating for groups of various sizes. The prices are in the typical theme park inflated range, but well worth it for the quality of food and drink guests are served. They take natural ingredients and use them to make your meal look like it is influenced by Na'vi cuisine. As an example, our Specialty Ube Cold Brew featured strong lavender colors from the Ube in it. It was made with Joffrey's Coffee Cold Brew, Ube, Oat Milk, and Pure Cane Syrup. This coffee drink is divine. For her meal, my wife ordered the decadent Cinnamon French Toast with Blueberry Cream Cheese, Passion Fruit Anglaise, and Sausage. I tried a bite and was floored with how delicious it was. As for me, I ordered the king of savory dishes known as the Frittata and Beef. It featured a Vegetable-Goat Cheese Frittata with Wood-fired Beef Tossed in Chimichurri. I am still having withdrawals from not being able to easily obtain this dish. I must conclude with the sentiment that Satu'li Canteen is the fantasy breakfast place of dreams. read more
This place is a nice restaurant in Animal Kingdom. You can place your order online and then pick up when you arrive. We didn't have the best experience because the restaurant had no forks when we were there, which made eating a bit challenging. Also, it was basically impossible to find seating so we had to eat standing up. It's hard to blame the restaurant because it was so busy, but there really needs to be more chairs and tables in my opinion. The food was super beautiful though! read more

Looking for a delicious meal in an enchanting setting? Satu'li Canteen is just that and must eat restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort! Take a breathtaking walk through Pandora to get to these tasty flavors, this immersive area will make you feel like you're truly eating as a Na'vi especially with these amazing flavors and unique plating! I ordered the chimichurri beef and chopped wood grilled chicken bowl (you can choose your own base and sauce) I ordered it with a base of rice and beans and the chard green onion vinaigrette. These island flavors were so delicious together and truly felt as if I was eating from their lands, it's even topped with popping pears for that 'alien' Avatar feel! Such a cute garnish and a perfect pop of sweet to this savory dream. This is my go-to meal when in Animal Kingdom Park and I recommend that everyone must try it! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Animal Kingdom. We took advantage of early entry to the park, hopped a ride before the crowds and then settled for a nice breakfast to fuel for the rest of the day. Everything was delicious! This is a quick serve location and we were able to grab a table, then mobile order. Our food was ready in minutes. Staff are consistently walking around picking up trash and trays-which was an added bonus for us with kids, stroller and backpacks. It is comfortable inside but plenty of seating outside too. As usual everything is clean and attended to. read more
