    Chicken Tenders w/ Fries
    Kelly N.

They have a few locations around Georgia, and while this is the only one I've been to, I have tried a good portion of their menu from ordering myself or through catering. From the outside, it didn't seem like much, but it was more spacious than expected. It has been busy enough that you may have to take it out, but you should try to eat it as soon as possible unless you've ordered grilled chicken (which taste fine) because you don't want things to get soggy. Service is fine, and the food comes out ~20 minutes. They're most known for their chicken, of course, but I have also tried their tofu tenders. For vegetarians, it's not a bad choice! They seem to use the same batter and sauce flavoring as the chicken, so it's crunchy and tastes good. I prefer either original or spicy, but bbq is also an option, and they let you pick how you would them sauced (like 2 spicy and 1 OG or 1 of each sauce). Original sauce does have a sweetness to it, but it's not like bbq. Spicy isn't really that spicy, and it does taste saltier than the other options. Their sandwich and tacos are similar with the slaw, but the tacos feel less heavy of an option if you don't want to feel the greasiness of the meal. Sometimes though, the flour tortilla cannot support the taco, and it gets very messy very quick, so tacos here aren't really something I'd pick. I usually stick to the plate, but the salads here are pretty good. None of the dressings were bad at least. For their sides, I really like their cucumbers, but the amount they give isn't really worth it to me. The fries are good, and their "foodie flakes" on them provides a nice salty flavor, so if you prefer a crispy chip, you can get that with foodie flakes over the fries. Or get the sweet potato fries. Rice is good if you want to feel fuller or don't want to use your hands to eat.

We were in the area and wanted to try a new place. We ordered the 5-piece panko chicken with two sides for $15. We got it naked with the sauce on the side and chose double fries. It took about 10-15 minutes to be ready. The fries were crispy and flavorful. The chicken was crunchy, but it didn't have much flavor without the sauce, and the piece sizes were inconsistent. We got the OG sauce on the side, and they also gave us some ranch. I ended up using the ranch because I didn't love the OG sauce, it reminded me of sushi sauce. The ranch was pretty good, though. It was nice to try a new place, but for the price it felt a bit overpriced in my opinion. We found parking on the street for $2 an hour (minimum time).

Ordered the 3 piece chicken plate and got the side of green beans (with extra charge). Food came out fairly quickly and was fresh, but everything was drowning in sauce, the rice was on top of puddle of really sweet sauce that made it practically inedible. The green beans were also covered in so much sauce that I tried to scrape off some sauce before eating each bean. Not sure if this is the norm - but definitely is an area for improvement! We used to like Ponko chicken but this was unfortunately a very disappointing experience.

Ponko Chicken is so good!! My company had a food truck and we all loved it so much. The food was served fresh with large portion sizes of sides. The sweet fries are so good and addicting! The chicken itself was tender and flavorful - I highly recommend the OG style. In fact, it's so good that I usually don't even need to eat it with sauce. It really does carry that much flavor.

Start off from saying first time here and I get any signature dishes. Service was decent, friendly staff. Atmosphere was a little loud because of the house music going on, but maybe that's the norm for this chain. The food wasn't too impressed I ordered the grilled teriyaki chicken with rice both of which had little flavor. However the carrot cake cup was really good and saved the day. Overall just ok for me but maybe just right for others.

Always a pleasure dining here for lunch. It's quick and easy to get in and out. I always leave satisfied. I enjoy their in-house lemonade which is behind the main counter, ask for it. Plus their ponko rice plate with 5 tenders always tastes good and fills me up over the last 5 years

An elegant and modern twist on Asian fusion, Ponko did not disappoint. This place was clean and customer service was friendly. Portion sizes were reasonable and the price was fair. This is a great place to go if you want chicken but are tired of eating the same old foods.

I've only ever ordered take out from Ponko but it has NEVER disappointed! Everything always tastes amazing and fresh and I can never get tired of their ponko sauce. I usually always get my order with a side of green beans and Cole slaw.

The service was impeccable and there's even a call button at your booth to discretely call your server. Our Japanese waiter was so friendly and very helpful. Oh and the booths are the way to go. Cozy and intimate so you feel like you're just with the company you came with. Haven't really seen many places like this lately and I must say, it's very appealing. And then there's the food. Every single dish that we had was a wonderful. My Japanese mother thoroughly enjoyed her meal at Nagomiya and commented that it was all very authentic. Her favorite is always chawanmushi (steamed egg) which is usually rare to find at restaurants. And the fish was all very melt in your mouth fresh. But not only do they do sushi well, their tempura was perfectly battered and fried and the hamachi kana was cooked just right. Highly recommend!

The restaurant itself is charming as they have private booths with curtains, which makes for a cozy dining experience. I ordered the sukiyaki with a mini chirashi and shared the okonomiyaki. The chirashi was the really good because the fish was fresh and flavorful. However, the sukiyaki was a bit too salty for my palate, and the beef was slightly overcooked. The okonomiyaki was enjoyable, though I personally would have loved a bit more sauce to round it out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but there is definitely some room for refinement with their main dishes.

I wasn't sure how all the flavors would come together, but everything surprisingly worked so well. Next, I ordered the Langoustine Roll with pressed rice. At first, I didn't think I was going to like it, but it ended up being sooo flavorful and incredibly easy to eat. If you have a smaller mouth like me, you don't have to worry about making a mess because the sushi was so soft and practically melted with every bite. Of course, I had to order their Casanova Roll since it's what they're best known for, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was on the sweeter side with plenty of sauce, which was perfect for my palate. Now onto the Miso Steak. I ordered it medium, but some bites toward the end were more well done. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either, so I personally wouldn't recommend it. Overall, I had a great experience here, but I do think the food is overpriced. I went on a Friday morning, and the restaurant was moderately busy there were spaces open, however, it was still active, and there were a few full tables and people having conversations. They had anime and various other things playing on the televisions throughout. I went in for simply a pastry and specifically to try out the apple pie Matcha. I will say it did not disappoint. One thing I always love when I'm getting a Matcha is stellar presentation and it met that. With the piping of the cinnamon cold cold foam, to the apple crisp and caramel on top, it looked beautiful, and I was happy to enjoy it! This had a great balance between the whole milk, and the amount of Matcha you can see it is a nice dark green color It also wasn't too sweet, and I felt I was getting apple pie from the drink through the hint of spices in there, along with the garnish. I was able to secure a table against the wall for two by myself to take a quick snapshot of my tray and try out my drink before leaving. I also got a caramelized onion croissant with Gruyère cheese. These were both strong flavors, that worked well together. I do wish I could've gotten heated, but maybe that's something you have to do upon request. Overall, I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items, and dine at the restaurant in the future, looking forward to the next seasonal drink! ** be sure to park in the lot next-door, to have it validated inside!**

There are a limited number of free parking spaces, but there's also a parking garage conveniently located right next to the restaurant. The menu is accessed through a QR code, but I appreciated that they also provide a tablet for guests who prefer not to (or can't) use their phones. The service was excellent. Our server took the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and clarify which substitutions were available. Hands down, the best gyoza I've had in Georgia. The wrappers were perfectly crisp with a juicy, flavorful filling that disappeared far too quickly. I ordered the Hot Miso Ramen, and it arrived looking just as incredible as it tasted. The vibrant crimson broth was topped with tender slices of pork chashu, a perfectly marinated jammy egg, sweet corn, scallions, sesame seeds, and seasoned ground pork, creating a bowl that was as visually inviting as it was delicious. Despite the name, the spice level was approachable; it added warmth without setting my mouth on fire. The broth was rich, savory, and layered with flavor. I'm usually not a fan of pork ramen, so I ordered the chicken karaage to add to my meal, but it honestly wasn't necessary. The pork was exceptionally tender, well-seasoned, and completely changed my opinion of pork ramen. My daughter ordered the Hangover Cure Ramen, which was equally impressive. It was soothing, deeply savory, and comforting; the kind of meal that warms you from the inside out. It was lighter than my bowl but still packed with flavor, making it the perfect choice if you're looking for something nourishing without sacrificing taste. We finished with a mochi ice cream.
