My score would be lower if that was the case. I've tried this restaurant a few times for lunch, and I've enjoyed it each time. They're always accommodating for about groups of 8 without a reservation for the most part, and the staff has always been really kind and patient. I've tried some of the raw fish items here, and they've tasted surprisingly fresh although I've definitely had better elsewhere (still pretty good for the price!). Recently, I tried their Thai Style Spicy Basil dish for the first time. It definitely could've been spicier, but it's probably made on the milder side for those that may not be able to handle their spice because this dish is typically spicy (I've made it in Thailand myself). I wish that some of the hot dishes could have more spices/ingredients added to have more of the explosion of flavor I'm used to from Thai dishes, but it's still fairly tasty.
