I spent $88 US dollars and $17 was stolen. I decided to treat myself and go all out. I got a spa…read morepedicure and a manicure with effects. I wanted each nail to be a different color and confirmed that was alright before proceeding forward. I don't fully know what the issue was but they couldn't find some of the colors and it took a long time for the manager to locate them. I was there for 1.5 to 2 hours and it felt like the manager wasn't happy about it so I told the girls that we can redesign my nails but they reassured me they had time for me. Once I left, I went to the bathroom in Plaza Caracol before a meeting I had and my effects came off (image) so I message Unas Normas and they said I can come back. I schedule an appointment for two days later as that was the soonest I could come. By that time my effect were half off three or four of my nails. On my way, I messaged them that I would be 5 mins late and they said I can't be late. I told them I was in the uber on my way. I arrived was 5 mins late then they had me sit in a chair for 10-15 mins before telling me that all my nails were chipped and they didn't have time to redo them but had a 11 am appointment. I was annoyed because if they needed more time they should have scheduled it in the first place. They asked me what I wanted for my nails and I told them whatever they recommended because I didn't want to come back and I wanted pained nails. They did gel polish without effects so I asked if I would get a refund for the effects that I paid for on each nail - $17 value. The nail girl asked and told me the manager said no but offered a hand or foot massage (nice of the girl but NOT worth the value) I went and talked to the manager. She told me no and I told her she has a bad product that she is offering to her customers. She told me that is why they have their guarantee. I said that she has a faulty product that she charged me $17 US dollars for and I am sure she can give a refund as the company has three or so stores and they have to have some type of policy. She said she wouldn't even know how to give a refund. During this exchange, another girl was talking and then she just kinda ignored me by looking down at her desk passive aggressively until I said something. I think I said something like soooo and she said sorry. So I told her that I didn't think she was and that I was going to write a bad review. So here is the review.... In conclusion, I think this is a VERY expensive place to get nails done as it's comparable to the US in pricing, they don't fully guarantee their service, they give faulty products or perhaps they just don't teach people how to apply it, and essentially steal money from their customers.
