Place is super clean and nice inside! We came on a Monday night and were the only ones which was nice. We ordered a bit of everything when it came to Mariscos and we loved all three dishes. I'm giving the place a four star rating because we got two different micheladas and were a bit disappointed. Tasted almost watered down and not much flavor. I'd come back again and try some other items. Would be a great Place for both big and small parties.

First time checking it out. The mezcal margarita was fabulous. Very fun decor and seems like a good place to go with friends. The nachos were really delicious. Chips were homemade and thick and crunchy. Service was friendly and fast but it also wasn't super busy.

I stopped in here on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. The Pony's margarita was pretty good. Some might find it a little sweet but I didn't think it was too bad. We also got the guacamole and it was ok too, but my personal preference is a chunkier, thicker guacamole that is less smooth, if that makes sense. It was a good flavor though and the chips were good. I got the ceviche plate and chose the mango habanero ceviche and added avocado. It wasn't too spicy, but it was pretty filling and I enjoyed it with the sauces and tostadas. My favorite were the salsa they have. The taco salsa that comes with the tacos was deliciously spicy. They let me try with the ceviche for some added heat.

Oh man... I really wanted to like this place.. At first glance the food looked appealing and appetizing. Unfortunately, it was lackluster. The ceviches were quite bland. The one that was supposed to be an aguachile was more of a cucumber salad with sauce than actual shrimp. The fish tacos was more breading than actual fish. The Michelada was also mediocre for a place that calls themselves a "michelada bar." I really hope this restaurant takes this review as constructive criticism and ups their game, best of luck

The food here is absolutely delicious, but the beverage program is next level. The drinks are genuinely artisan, beautifully balanced, and unique. A massive shoutout to Jocelyn at the bar--she was incredibly nice and crafted some truly amazing drinks! As a long-time local, I loved the respectful nod to former favorite menu items from FEZ. It's a brilliant touch of nostalgia, but make no mistake: they have completely made this space and menu their own. Incredible food, stellar drinks, and top-tier hospitality. Don't skip this spot!

Get the mahi-mahi battered fried fish tacos! The best fish taco I've had in Phoenix... The fish tacos were smacking. And then kept going.

Was blown awayyy by this place. Quality drinks, quality food and amazing prices for being downtown and amazing staff and the vibe is great!!! definitely will return!

Service was great, restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. Parking is a bit difficult to find but driving around to try and find parking is worth it with how good the food was.

Joslyn at the bar is where you want to be! She was highly attentive and even gave great recommendations. The Micheladas were perfect, and offered so many variations to choose from. We indulged in ordering the shrimp empanadas, fried cauliflower, lemon pepper wings, and the Fez inspired burger, and everything was AMAZING. I only wish the pears were left on the fez inspired as it was the iconic ingredient on the burger. Outside of that, the experience, ambience, and customer service were all top tier. They pay homage to FEZ, and retain their own refreshed identity in a historical space that I will always love! A MUST DO!

Food was just mediocre. The micheladas we ordered were not very tasty. There was waaaay too much cucumber in our ceviche.

Great food, great service. Highlight was the Aguachile Negros wings, truly out of this world.

I remember touring the administrative offices, the dining hall, the classrooms, the residence halls, and other random buildings, but the most memorable stop was The Pub, which was rooted in much Thunderbird tradition. Now, years later with a new building in place at ASU, I was delighted to learn that The Pub still exists but in a new space (on the fifth floor). I recently stopped by to see what it looked like and try one of their dishes. In the spirit of Thunderbird, at The Pub, it is said that "global flavors and local charm come together to create an unforgettable dining experience." This is a great place for a meal with co-workers, hosting a gathering for a special celebration, or having a low-key meal. I took a book and gave it a try on my own. The sides include chicken wings, chicken tenders, hummus snack plate, or various ways to prepare fries. They have soup, salad, flatbread, entree bowls, and many burgers and sandwiches. They also have all sorts of drink options (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). It was national root beer float day (or something of the sort), so every burger came with a free root beer float. I jumped at that and got the Thunderbird Pub Burger (seasoned 6oz all beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, American Cheese, signature pub sauce Brioche Bun, served with Crispy French Fries). It was delicious!! In fact, it was better than delicious when paired with a free root beer float! They have regular hours of noon to 5 PM on weekdays (though they are open until 9 PM on Thursdays. They do have seasonal hours when they close early or entirely when classes are not in session. Happy hour specials are from 3-5 PM daily. While there are many great places to eat at ASU, I certainly recommend The Pub at Thunderbird.

They have a great rotating selection on draft and in cans... sooooo many cans. If you go the draft route, you usually can sample a few before going in a pint - but don't get too greedy! You can also get a flight on draft. The staff are super knowledgeable about what they're selling - which isn't easy considering having a rotating draft of ~20 lines and all the cans. In the last few visits, the overall beer list has leaned more IPAs than any other style. I have noticed a few unique can styles too while perusing. It would be most helpful IMO if cans were organized by style, not by brewery. Kind of creates a little chaos in my brain! Events are on a regular basis in addition to hosting food trucks in their paid parking lot (if you don't pay, you will get towed). There's a decent amount of seating, indoor and outdoor but the best is the 'living room' space which is good for groups of ~10-15.

If it's your first visit, the AZ Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich is an absolute must. It's perfectly crispy with just the right amount of heat and packed with flavor in every bite. Made the long drive from Gilbert to see what the hype was about and let me say....that soft serve was WORTH IT! I got the swirl and it was soooooo refreshing and delicious. I have seen people comment that they were too strong (I don't see the problem or maybe some people don't really like tequila) but mine was perfect! Not strong at all. The only reason I didn't give this updated review a 5-I ordered the banh mi sando and the sandwich was so dry. Chicken was dry. The cilantro wasn't chopped I had to pick out long stems. Also I got the AZ frosè and the rosemary syrup was just way too pungent to enjoy the whole beverage. I wished it had been more balanced. Especially when the French fries are heavily seasoned with rosemary--a bit too much.
