Small fry order and an order of onion rings
    Nikki G.

I have loved Pony's for years. I have known it as Ed's. It has been a tradition that following apple picking, we go get food at Pony's. Well, this past experience was less than stellar. Our entire party was very disappointed in the quality of the product. Also, they don't follow wearing masks. I wanted to leave when I noticed this, but the people I were with are okay with this, we obviously don't share the same political views, but I can't not talk to them because they are my family and I love them, and they were my ride. So we stayed. The bartender/server was technically wearing a mask, just around her neck. One bartender was wearing his mask religiously. I wish he was our server. Our table of four ordered 30 wings, a single order of chicken fingers, an order of pizza logs, and an order of fries, along with a water, Pepsi, and two Jameson and gingers. The food came out surprisingly quickly. In previous years, it always took some time. I was a little suspicious when this happened. The wings' sauce was delicious and consistent with prior years, however, the quality of the chicken wings wasn't there and the wings could have been left in the fryer a little longer. The pizza logs were standard, the fries were fantastic. My cousin who had the fingers said they were good. If I did go back, I'd order the chicken fingers with their sauce, but I don't think I'll ever be returning again. We will have to find a different place to start a new tradition after apple picking next season.

    Medium Chicken Fingers

Pony's is obviously KNOWN for their fingers/wings/sauce. It's unfortunate that they changed their fingers and fries. Definitely not nearly as good as they used to be. The sauce also seems different compared to a decade+ ago. They used to drench the bottom of the box with extra sauce too. Not anymore. Nothing amazing. Not bad but also not out of this world. Service is good. Good vibe inside.

Fantastic food, full of flavor. Remodel looks fantastic & staff is friendly & prompt.

Had lunch outside in front of Pony's. Cute town. Great chicken fingers and chicken finger wrap. Fries were also good. Nice staff. Street parking.

Three orders of medium-style chicken fingers (12 chicken fingers total)

I believe this place has some of the tastiest chicken fingers in all of WNY! NOTE: This place is cash only!! They do have an ATM inside. Now, this place is not much to look at but the food, specifically their chicken fingers and chicken wings, are phenomenal! As for the location, there is plenty of parking in an empty lot next door. The inside is a "hole in the wall" bar that is not too big but fits the bill for a small town. They have a few TVs playing behind the bar and there is a pool table and a jukebox as you walk in off Main St. There are a couple booths and a few tables to sit at if you decide you want to get the full experience. The family ordered ahead for pickup: 10 mild chicken wings, an order of BBQ chicken fingers (four to five chicken fingers), and three orders of medium-style chicken fingers (about 12-13 chicken fingers). The food came out precisely when they said it would, so not much waiting at all when I got there to pick them up. The chicken fingers themselves are not the biggest I have ever seen, but the quality of the chicken and the sauce is top notch! The sauce has a little tang/kick to it but is not overpowering in heat. The chicken fingers themselves taste fantastic with just the right amount of breading on them and go down so easily. I have a pretty good appetite so I can eat about eight chicken fingers and would be full. Each order comes with sides of ranch and blue cheese (although I only noticed ranch with th order of medium-style chicken fingers...). As a side note, I did try their chicken wings for the first time and was very impressed with how good they were! They have a unique breading/feel to them and they have a TON of meat on each wing. Pony's has turned into an institution around Orleans county when you want something other than pizza. I look forward to grabbing more chicken fingers here and maybe change things up and get an order of chicken wings next time!

A small town bar to stop in and grab a bite to eat, or have drinks with friends. A friendly spot that was quite lively on a Friday night- nothing was overly great but not bad either. Drinks were fine, and food was good. I felt bad for the bar tender as she was holding down the entire place solo on a busy Friday night- through no fault of her own our service wasn't great as it took awhile for her to get to tables, understandably however due to the other 30+ customers she was serving.

This place is a small dive bar but don't let that fool you! They have some of the best unique wings and fingers out there. The menu is small but go straight for the wings or fingers. The "special sauce" you can get it hot, medium, or mild. The hot has a kick of spicy but finishes with a sweetness. The sauce is addicting and the coating on the wings and fingers is unique and makes them that more delicious. The fries are a must have as well they are hot, crispy and seasoned to perfection. The staff was wonderful and didn't take long for the food to come out. If by looks you are passing this place by you are making a huge mistake! Stop in and have your taste buds exploding with the special sauce.

    Not saucy chicken fingers.
    Amanda M.

Every time I order I ask them to make the fingers saucy. Please put extra sauce on them. Every time I only leave with disappointment. I don't get it. If I have them and someone else order them they're always saucy and delicious. Is it me Pony's? What's up with that? I'm willing to pay an up charge can you just make them how I order them??

Hot wings: they were delicious! Spicy and sweet

After three wineries, my husband was definitely ready for some food. When you walk in, you definitely feel like you're entering an English pub! The bar, and place, ent of the bar was very traditional to pubs in the UK. Our server Lawerence definitely helped with his English accent! When asked where he was from, he said Bristol! He came to Canada after her sister relocated. He originally was a cook, but given his accent, they asked hi. To move to the front! Well done. He was a great server too! Very friendly! We decided to share the sausage rolls and shepherds pie. My husband had two Guinness! I'm not sure where he put it in top of the wine, but glad I was driving. The sausage rolls were very tasty. The mustard that came for dipping was the perfect accompaniment. The shepherd's pie had a dark Guinness gravy that was rich and flavorful. I enjoyed the side of peas and carrots too! Sharing these two was the perfect amount, however we wished we'd got the poutine! It looked amazing, it would've been too much food though. Guess we will need to return! PS: loved seeing the sign for Upper Canada Brewing company! In 1988, I visited them with my college partner as we did a college paper on microbrewers! At that time, they were one of a few. We also had visited Great Lakes brewing in CLE! The microbrewing industry exploded shortly there after! Was a great personal walk down memory lane for my college days!! While Upper Canada was sold, was just excellent to see an old sign!

I got into Canada early, so I decided to go have some lunch. I walked in, and immediately felt like I just came home. The bartender, this lovely young woman named Onya, came up and took my order. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed. Onya said she did it herself, so massive kudos for her going above and beyond the call of duty. Overall this meal hit on all cylinders and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back here a couple more times while I'm in Canada. If you need to find me, you know where to find me. The bottom line? You really need to get the buffalo chicken wing chowder. It is absolutely an amazing soup and will change your life. And if you like a good classic Caesar, you can't do better than this one!
