Went for dinner on a Monday night which conveniently was .50 wing night. they are for a variety of flavors and preparations for the wings which were great and I tried the House sauce and medium. Both were good with the house sauce being the stand out for me. It sort of had a honey sweetness to it but I can't pin down one of the other flavors there. I could of taken the wings a bit crispier, but if I were to return I'd just asked for that next time. Despite how busy it was and a special for the night, it didn't take long for the wings to come out. Also had a beer which was cheap. My service experience was pretty standard. I ordered at the bar and my food was brought to my table. They did check in on me at the table and I just paid at the bar when I was done eating. Note this place is cash only.

We discovered our new favorite the weekend before quarantine. We came on a Friday night for our sons' birthday. I'd been wanting to try it, and the place our sons originally picked out was packed. They have a bar and a restaurant with inexpensive diner food, but it's higher quality than we've ever had for diner food. My husband had an angus burger made medium rare to order. That right there is above and beyond the basic medium well burgers most diners sell, but the price was still reasonable. It tasted so great, we both came back for one that Sunday. I had the beer battered fish fingers, which were amazing. I love fish fries but a whole fish can be overwhelming. These were more manageably sized and tasted just as good, if not better. One of my sons had mild wings that were just right for him. The other had his usual chicken tenders and fries. They were juicy and not overcooked. Service was great both times we came. They are currently offering to-go. I look forward to our next meal there. For now we hope to patronize them as often as we can. I've been thinking about the fish fingers all week.

I was in Olcott today with a friend who has a cottage there. She suggested we stop at a local 'hole in the wall" Maxwell's for lunch. Her words and she was right. The restaurant is old diner style. Though she said they had an awesome BLT sandwich. The place was an old fire station and has a lot of items on the walls reminisce of those days. This being the off season the bar is closed in the afternoon and the restaurant area was empty. We walked around the dark bar. I'm told they have a great buffet when the Bill's are playing and also a pretty good Taco Tuesday. Also decent prices on drinks. So we were the only customers. We both ordered the BLT on rye bread with a side of sweet potato fries. I have to say it was the best BLT I've ever had! The bread was toasted perfectly and there was an over abundance of bacon. Hey if I'm going to splurge and eat bacon I like getting a lot! The side of sweet potato fries were pretty good also. I saw the one and only other review on this place and my experience was nothing like theirs. My friend said she's been there many times as a neighborhood regular and never had any problems with the service.

Food is good and it definitely has local flavor. If you are looking for fine dining this is not the place to go.

There is seating at a small bar, under a pavilion area and picnic tables on the lawn. I visited on a Wednesday night for $.50 wings, which can be ordered in multiples of 5. When I walked up to the bar to order, I saw they had dry rub salt & vinegar wings on as a special, so I didn't bother to look at the actual menu; I knew I had to have the salt & vinegar. I also got an unsweetened tea to drink, but they have a full bar available for your drinking pleasure. The bartender who took my order was very nice. After I ordered I was asked where I was going to sit so they could bring my order when it was ready. Despite the bar being quite busy, my food was out in a reasonable amount of time. My wings were fresh, hot and oh so flavorful! They also had a perfectly crispy skin and moist and tender meat inside. I've had salt & vinegar wings before, but some of them, I kinda questioned, are these actually salt & vinegar??? haha... I assume they must have been tossed in the seasoning rather than dry rubbed. Dry rubbing them as Open Air does makes all the difference.. they were so salty & vinegary! I will definitely have them again and recommend them to anyone who loves salt & vinegar as I do!

I was surprised to see I haven't written a review but I always have a good experience here! For my mom's birthday, she wanted to grab a beer flight and dinner at Live Edge Brewing. We arrived on a Saturday around 4:45pm and took a parking spot close to the entrance. They have a good-size parking lot so no concerns about finding a space. We walked in and saw the "wait to be seated" sign and soon afterward, a young woman came over and asked how many in our party and where we'd like to sit. The three of us decided to sit on their back patio. We picked a table and our waitress soon followed with drink/food menus. All of the tables outside had umbrellas to help shield from the sun, which on this Saturday was out but the temperature was perfect and there was a slight breeze to cool it down a little. The one oddity we had was that our drink menus didn't match as my menu had more taps listed compared to the others I was sitting with, so I ended up getting a drink in my flight they never saw. I slight hiccup but honestly, you can't be too upset with a drink in your hand! Our waitress was young and incredibly personable, friendly, accommodating, answering all our questions about the food and customizing our orders how we wanted them. We might have let it slip that it was my mom's birthday - Our waitress brought her a birthday cake shot to celebrate, which she loved! Our waitress let us take our time sampling our beer flights before placing our food orders. The wait time for our food was very reasonable, maybe 10-15 minutes, I can't remember as we were having too good a time chatting and sipping. For dinner, I ordered their Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy, which is a hand-breaded toaster-oven-baked chicken breast topped with provolone cheese, pickles, and their Nashville hot sauce between a brioche bun and served with a side of tater tots (a small upcharge from their default chips). The sandwich was delicious! Now, for you spice lovers, I didn't find this sandwich very spicy, it was more about the flavor, the tang of the sauce. I didn't mind it not being that spicy, the flavor was excellent! The pickles were thick and had a nice crisp to them and the provolone cheese paired so well with it all. The tater tots were fried perfectly with a crispier exterior but hot, pillowy-soft interior - For the small upcharge, ~$3.00, they were worth it. The portion sizes were perfect as I was perfectly full, I wasn't uncomfortable. The price of my meal was reasonable as well, especially seeing how everything's costing more in 2026. Live Edge Brewing is not only a family favorite but for me, it's a hidden gem. The friendly, laid back, yet still attentive service and country atmosphere have us continuing to come back each New Year's Eve, and now, this could become a new birthday tradition!

The service was really good, and staff was solicitous and friendly, despite it being quite busy. The food was delicious. The memu was typical fare, but with added flair. Side sauces for apps and sandwiches. I got a huge chicken sandwich with bacon and provolone cheese, and a beer and the price was very reasonable. To top it off, they had live music, a singer, guitarist, Kevin White, who was really enjoyable, and took requests! I would recommend this place highly.
