Update : we have been reached out to a couple times by company about our original review and I still stand by my experience BUT I will say they are atleast good at acknowledging the issue and working to make sure the next customer doesn't have same experience as we had . Well, I can't say that I am basing this review on the final product but I can say that this far it's been a let down. Jeff the sales professional is great but after his process was complete, things took a turn. I signed the paperwork towards the middle of October 2021. We didn't get permits for the initial excavation back until February 2022. The planning phase took SIX MONTHS. That's how long I was told the ENTIRE process would take. I've got pools going in all around me. Pools that were started WELL after mine. My neighbors will be swimming this summer and we will still be waiting. It is my opinion that this company over sells and under delivers. The companies that they contract out cannot keep up with the workload. My plumbers worked half days. So did electrical. The only team that did its job well was the excavation team. One of the plumbers was caught by my neighbor peeing on the side of my house - literally ON the house with the gate wide open where kids heading to school could see. The project planner responds to my concerns in single sentence responses. There is zero feeling of urgency or the understanding of it. We are paying 83,000 in cash for this pool and it seems like we are simply an after thought. Makes me wonder how warranty repairs will go in the future. For the record - here is the proof as to how long it took to get the basic planning stages done. I confirmed with the Buckeye permit office on 4/26/22. I sure do hope the finished product blows our mind because it may take a full year to get it. Edit 1) I am going to continue updating this as we move along in the process. So, shotcrete is a huge concern. Dawn was able to book our shotcrete less than two weeks after the inspection. This is unheard of due to them being so backed up. So this was a pleasant surprise to say the least. Edit 2) Shotcrete complete within 2 days. Plumbing and electrical and gas now complete. It's been moving along pretty well. Updating review score due to getting back on track. Edit 3) Randy the project supervisor came out and reviewed everything. He's a really good guy and you can tell he is concerned about getting the project done right. The finishing crew is here now and they too are really nice. They are plugging right along. Only typically working half days but this may be because they have other jobs going on at the same time. read more

We met with several highly recommended pool builders and I am so glad we made the right choice. Worked with Jeff Eaton out of the West Valley location and I am so happy with our decision. We love our pool and spa! He kept us exactly on budget and exceeded our expectations with quality work. Randy Jimenez was our lead and extremely easy to work with. He made sure at the very end, everything met our expectations. My only word of advice is mentally prepare for extra time on the process. Revision to my previous post after a rep from the company called to discuss our concerns. Rep was very professional, listened to our issues, offered an apology and stated the company will do whatever it can to rectify any issues going forward and that they take all complaints seriously. Felt better about the company as a whole after the discussion with their rep. Overall, the issue was with the original sales rep, Jack, and not the company as a whole. The company values its reputation and took steps to correct any deficiencies. Kudos to them! read more

We contracted with them in November 2021. Pool was supposed to be done end of May. They completed excavation, rebar, plumbing and electrical over 3 months ago. Turned my backyard into a disaster, did an atrocious job tearing down the access wall and have just let it sit. They don't communicate at all unless I reach out and they constantly mislead. My husband had been dreaming of this pool for years and even when told he was dying showed ZERO urgency, just lies and false promises. Since the beginning of June I have been asking for clean up and at least a temporary wall for safety and liability purposes and just keep hearing next week (if I even get a response). My husband died not only without ever getting to swim in the pool, but with his backyard as a deathtrap. I can't even have a post-memorial reception at home because of this. I have plenty of photos and screenshots of communication and am happy to share them. I will gladly post updates if I ever have some, but I won't hold my breath. read more

DO NOT use this company. They false advertise, they take forever to get the pool done and they change up your plans. For starters I told the salesman Matt that I wanted the pool and landscape package which was advertised for $32,939 which includes a way to control your pool remotely. After back and forth I ended up paying over $36,000. Most of it was allegedly tax. When I signed the contract I didn't realize that the remote feature was not included. After signing the contract we got to pick which waterline tile. Covid happen and I guess the water tile that I picked was no longer in stock. So I picked a different one from the choices they gave me. During the pool building process they informed me that my second choice of water tile wasn't in stock either. Don't you think you would make sure it's in stock or order it so the customer doesn't have to go through hoops and pick up different tiles. They finally got the water tile from my third choice. Over 9 months later my pool was finally built. What a nightmare. I asked today about how to control the pool remotely and was informed that I didn't have that feature. This is the only pool company you should get a quote from. Jeff, the West side salesman, is great. The site supervisor Randy knows he s stuff and keeps everything moving right along. The guy doing our hardscape is an absolute artist! He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. The landscapers were also very impressive. These guys were super friendly, did an amazing job, and you can tell these guys also took pride in their work. These qualities are hard to find, but Pool and Landscape AZ have all these people working for them. Also, whenever there has been a problem, it was taken care of quickly or a plan of action was taken. Thanks for an amazing job!! read more

I wish I could review their actual work, but since my first request for a quote back in June/July I haven't heard back from them. I've called no less than 4 times since, and every time I hear the same thing, "we're really busy, but the designer will call you soon". It's been months... I guess we have a different definition of the word soon. I'm not going to beg a company to take my money. So, I've moved on. You might consider not wasting months of your project timeline and just move on to a company that actually cares enough to follow up with their prospective customers. read more

We contacted & talked to 11 pool builders over the course of 18 months. The scope was the removal of our existing small spool, pool deck, in ground gas fire pit & all equipment, and to install a new lap pool & spa. Of the 11 pool designers, only Jeff Eaton recommended moving the equipment to the side of our house instead of placing the new pool equipment in the same location in our back yard where the old equipment was. Jeff's recommendation optimized the utilization of our back yard allowing us to extend the lap pool by 5'. Jeff really listened to our vision & produced the perfect design! After describing briefly what we wanted over the phone, he arrived fully prepared to the on-site consultation. He even brought the co-owner of the subcontractor that would conduct the demolition & new dig. Our field supervisor/ project manager was Randy Jimenez. Randy was on site during all major steps & was always reachable by phone. On the day of shotcrete installation, he gave very detailed instructions regarding the construction of the spillway between spa & pool, resulting in the perfect height. Dawn West serves as the company's construction coordinator & scheduler. Dawn is an excellent communicator. She ensured the trades were scheduled & always kept us in the loop. Dawn West provided exceptional customer service! Building a new pool was a huge investment in money, time & energy. The professionals at Pool & Landcape Arizona made it as easy on us as such a project can be on a homeowner. Communication is key! Jeff, Randy and Dawn were reachable throughout, always followed-up and always answered our questions. A couple of weeks after our pool passed the pre-gunite inspection, Dawn distributed a memo addressing the concrete situation. The memo was signed by the company's owner, Tim Maas & explained in detail the allotment process during the cement shortage. This communication managed our expectations and we knew that we would be in for a long wait. The sub-contractor for our pool start-up was Frank Christensen, PawZ Pool Service. Frank stopped by a few days before the scheduled start-up to familiarize himself with our pool & equipment. On start-up day he worked diligently until everything was working properly and he followed-up several days later. Frank is an excellent communicator and 'speaks pool' in a way we, the homeowner, can understand. We can definitely and without hesitation highly recommend Pool & Landscape Arizona to anyone who considers a new pool build! read more

We signed our contract about a year ago now and we have only had the rebar phase completed. Jeff the salesman said our pool would be done in May of this year when we signed the initial contract and we are now nearly 5-6 months beyond that deadline. They completely destroyed my pavers and said they would fix them free of charge and then took it back and said I'd have to pay an extra couple thousand for them to be fixed. If you work with Jason the manager, expect to deal with a guy that's not a leader what so ever and who has zero compassion. He hides behind his computer and refuses to take any accountability for the project. If you want to be lied to, scammed and misled go with this company. Otherwise, run in the complete opposite direction. In my 38 years, I have never had a worse experience with any company nor have a I felt so trapped. These people start your project, leave your yard in complete shambles and then tell you to "deal with it" as they take their sweet time. They have zero communication or care in the world. The only way to reach them for an update is you have to hound them over email. They are full of excuses and have zero accountability as a business. Do yourself and anyone you care about a favor and do not use this company. By the way, my projects been sitting so long it now has rust forming on the rebar as you can see in this picture. I signed the contract with Pool and Landscape AZ back in Oct. 2021 with the understanding that there was supply chain and labor shortages, and as long as we were swimming by summer of 2022, it would be well worth it. Jack was great, he answered all my questions and went above and beyond to contact me with updates on the progress during planning and permits. Dawn from scheduling was top notch and always kept me in the loop on next steps. And Randy the project manager..... this guys is amazing, and on top of his game. Always willing to go the extra mile and answer all my questions. I even had an unexpected deadline to get the pool completed, and he worked magic to get it done.
