I lost the second key to my jeep a while ago and I used Yelp's "request a quote" feature to find out who could make me a new one. Although it wasn't an emergency I got a prompt response from Pop-a-lock and a competitive quote. They also offer a warranty which others didn't. Caleb came out to the car, got the door open so I could get the keys then he was also able to unlock the steering wheel for me. I had no idea he would be able to help with the steering wheel issue but he troubleshoot this issue with me for a while and was able to get it done. I was so grateful for Caleb and his willingness to help me. This is not a professional lock service. Scheduling was a breeze but dealing with the service men was a nightmare. They will lie and even cheat you out of a double payment. The have a contract with budget car rental, so be careful. The men who show up are intimidating, dirty mouthed with a butt crack that must have been 3 feet long! Scheduled an appointment to have a new key made through roadside assistance on Saturday for Sunday morning at 6am. Nobody showed up, nobody called. After spending more time talking to roadside on the phone they said pop a lock got their schedule messed up and my appointment was for Monday morning at 6am. It's now Monday morning and nobody is here at 6:30am. After speaking to the guy at pop a lock he acted like he has never herded of my appointment and he will get to me after his already busy day. I understand your busy but don't tell someone your coming then wait a whole day later to come out. The guy did finally show up around 7am and made a new key. He was nice, but gave no apologies. Called on a Tuesday afternoon regarding both dead bolts freezing up (hard to lock/unlock) in addition to door levers on both doors/sides of the doors wearing out/wobbly and about to fall off. I live in a condo community with a strict HOA where the exterior door dead bolt and thumb handle needs to be uniform. Brian quickly called me back and scheduled an appointment the following morning (Wednesday) to replace all dead bolts and door levers. I texted Brian photos of the existing hardware for the dead bolts/door levers. Brian went above and beyond texting me photos/options that were available for the hardware styles/finishes in addition to even going the extra mile finding the almost identical match for the exterior door hardware dead bolt and thumb handle. Brian was on time, professional, considerate/respectful (wore a mask without me having to ask him to put one one), did an amazing job, did not make a mess and removed all hardware that was being replaced along with the new packaging for the replacements. After purchasing a home through one of those We Buy Your House investor realty services and closed on a Friday, I had one key (other was in the 'trades' lockbox) which only worked in one door with the lock they installed when they had bought and listed the house. Popalock is an incredible service. I called on a Sunday afternoon and just over an hour later, Nathan was here. We needed a new key for our Infinity and Nathan was very prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. 45 minutes and he was done making 2 keys. The dealership and another locksmith quoted us $250 for one key and we had to tow the vehicle to them. I locked myself out of my car and called Pop-a-Lock. The first technician tried using a slim jim to open the door (Corvette) which one shouldn't do. I asked him if he ever opened a Corvette and he said once. After a few tries I noticed he was scratching the paint and I told him to stop. I called the office and another technician came out and opened the hatchback through the keyhole.
