    Teriyaki combo plate, fries

Pop Pop Bottle Shop is a very cute trendy shop. They have single cans and chilled wine in the fridges on the wall. The corkage fee was pretty steep. The food was okay. We got the teriyaki (gluten free) with the white rice and the Mac salad (not gluten free). Teriyaki was fine it was a little too charred for my liking and a bit dry. The sauce was okay. My friends didn't love the Mac salad. The staff were very friendly! The shop is joint with the ice cream shop and you can walk between the two.

Always such a fun place to stop by when visiting Vashon! It's retro but modern and just cool. It's a fun and casual atmosphere. Local, yummy beers and ciders on tap, as well as in cans. Pretty good selection. Yummy food and snacks, a tad salty, but who cares because it's such a cool and laidback vibe. Island life to the fullest here. Just come and hang out...enjoy a beer and have a salty snack. Then walk over for a sweet treat and some retro arcade games at the Glass Bottle Creamery

Great selection of beers on tap and cans and bottles in the cooler. Good teriyaki food menu but it's really more Hawaiian than teriyaki. Friends staff. Parking is street parking. Bathrooms are unisex.

My friend and I visited Pop Pop Bottle Shop this past weekend and had lunch there. The space is beautiful and had a fun and relaxing vibe. The shop also had a HUGE selection of wine, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge as well as beverages on tap. The food was SO GOOD. I got the deluxe lunch with an egg on top. The chicken was juicy, the salad was refreshing, and the fried crunchy roll had a lot of flavor! I was a little intimidated by the chili crisp oil but it brought it all together! Lastly, the staff (chef and the person behind the counter - should have asked for their names) were so kind. Lovely humans.

Lots of hard-to-find local beers are available here, along with non-alcoholic favorites as well. They have a dozen or so taps going and do wine pours too. Also a decent food menu, making this a great stop for a meal. I was only there to pick up a couple of interesting beers for gifts but would love to come back again.

    Tofu Teriyaki & Amber Wine

Stopped by during the Annual Strawberry Festival. Indoor dining has a very cute atmosphere but the outdoor dining left something to be desired. Apart from the countless canned beverage options in their fridges, there was a decent selection of beers and wines. I tried the Amber Wine, which was fruity, very orange-y, and dry. We also ordered the Tofu Teriyaki, which came with plenty of rice but not much to eat it with. The tofu pieces were well marinated and flavored with scallions and sesame seeds. The coleslaw was refreshing with the teriyaki. I would stop by again and try another wine!

Pop Pop Bottle Shop Pros: Super friendly. Pretty good teriyaki. Large selection of beers and non-alcoholic bevs. Ice cream next door! The Red Bike grossness is gone. Cons: $15.00 for a teriyaki plate. $20.00 for the deluxe plate. No chopsticks. No shoyu. Extremely loud and lots of room reverb. For comparison, think Anthony's Pt. Defiance only 5 times worse. They desperately need acoustic tiles in here. Wear earplugs. Verdict: I'll go back for takeout.

Curried deluxe fries, beneficial brew kombucha, cascade cherry sour, & the baguette sandwich (banh mi) w/ chicken.

Nice casual place for a drink and snack on Vashon. Was pretty busy when we were there, but service was friendly and prompt.

The owners were very welcoming. I had a glass of red wine from Chile that was amazing. I definitely recommend the crab rangoon.

We came by after happy hour at Anthony's and listened to a live set of great music. The place was packed, but everyone is friendly and was willing to share their table with us. We had a great time and I strongly recommend coming by the Quarterdeck to chill and listen to live music. Can't believe it took me 20 years of living in Seattle to find this place. So, don't repeat my mistake.

Quarterdeck is what I like to call a "come for the vibes, stay for the drinks, eat... somewhere…read moreelse" kind of place. I stopped by while visiting Seattle and while the food situation was a bit chaotic (they had rotating menus because they were out of a few items), I ended up ordering a kimchi-inspired sandwich that I wanted to love...but it just didn't do it for me. Not inedible, maybe a 2/5, but I'd definitely try something else next time. My friend ordered what I think was the Garden Harvest Wrap (a staple on the menu), and that was more of a 3/5. Both dishes were served cold (intentionally), which I think made a difference, I could totally see them being much better if they were warm. Now let's talk about what is worth it: the mimosa flight. SO good. Like dangerously easy to sit there, sip through all of them, and forget any minor food disappointments. But honestly, the real star here is the ambiance. You're right on the water with the most effortless, breezy, coastal energy. Boats drifting by, sun hitting just right, people lingering over drinks--it's giving main character energy in the best way. I found myself wanting to stay way longer than planned and even doing some work while there. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to, just with a strategy: eat before or after, and come here to sip, sit by the water, and take a little walk on the dock. 5 stars for the vibes alone

The peanut sauce with it was so flavorful. I also had the pad see ew which was good. I played it safe with the entree but next time I will try something different. I added the second cup of peanut sauce to the pad see ew and it was great. The atmosphere of the bar was cool. It's dark and beautiful. The bartender served me water from a chilled bottle while I waited for my order (I got it to go). This place will make a fun location for a birthday, a date or girls night out. The deep fried trout appetizer was lovely, pad see ew was pretty standard and not overly sweet (and I tend to not like sweet food) like some comments have mentioned. We got the house red curry with pork. The spice level was great and the veggies were crisp and delicious. We enjoyed our cocktails too. The only item truly lacking was the tom yum soup. It honestly tasted like water infused with lime juice. No hint of all the wonderful flavors that make tom yum so delightful. Perhaps that was a bad batch. Otherwise everything was nice. My husband and I both agreed this was our favorite place we ate at on Vashon!

The only criticism I have, and the only reason I didn't leave a 5* review is that there really ins't an evening menu. And now in hindsight, I'm going to presume that what they called corn beef was probably some pink slime aggregate that was marketed under that name given seasoning and whatever else. I tried to beat some of the flavor by having a little bit of someone else's pancake, but whatever was in the pancake batter just tasted like VOCs and other assorted chemistry I wish I was joking. If I was, my gut wouldn't feel like the absolute cesspool that it has become trying to pass this ***slop. Someone else had fried potatoes and I thought that at least potato might be a little bit more pure since it was a whole ingredient, but it just tasted like resin because of how long the grease had been on the fryer that had cooked it If I didn't know this country for what it is, I would have called the health inspector on the place
