    Inside the taproom!

Steve and I just stumbled across this taproom. We had no idea that it existed and saw the sign from the road while on an outing. The location for this place is very interesting. If you into the grocery store sign there is a sign that leads you to the taproom but they have their own door too as we found out later. Lots of guest taps here which makes it not necessarily an easy choice as to what to drink but that's okay... better a lot than too little. Not only is there lots of guest beers on tap but there is lots of cans of local breweries you can purchase to go as well which adds even more to the numerous choices of beer that they have here for you to enjoy!

Great place for exceptional beers! If you are coming in for a Coors Light, forget it. You should be drinking in a Walmart parking lot. The owner, Johann, is from Köln, Germany, and he knows his stuff. They only have FORTY BEERS on tap so pace yourself! With all the COVID BS going on, you are asked to drink on the patio which is great for getting exposed to some local knowledge. Give it a go but remember, this beer is the real deal, not 3.2 beer from Oklahoma. Drink a 12 pack of these babies and you may see dead relatives! Enjoy!

Love how friendly the staff is, it's always a good time at the taproom. There's so many beers on tap and in cans to choose from. Best place to have a beer!!

It's the kind of neighborhood spot where you can easily hang out for an afternoon. The staff was incredibly friendly and happy to let us sample a few beers before deciding. I ended up ordering their Mimosa cider along with Tap #1, and both were refreshing and perfect for a warm summer day. One small disappointment was that the Yelp swag bags hadn't arrived yet, so we weren't able to pick them up during our visit. That was out of the brewery's control, though, and the staff apologized and were very accommodating.

The vibe is so comfortable and laidback - plenty of seating with tvs playing sports, a back patio area with various games that kids (and adults) can play, and a view of the water on the other end. The staff is so friendly and attentive. I ordered the beer vault hotdog with a side of sauerkraut and topped it with mustard, my husband ordered the ATM sandwich and we both got chips. Potato salad is the other side option. I had ordered the number 5 cider on tap, it was delicious and smooth. Crisp and lightly sweet, it paired well with the hotdog honestly. It also seems like they have live music shows, so I'm definitely going to look out for upcoming shows and events to stop by here again soon. It's a cool spot with great food and laidback family oriented vibes.

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, lots of people of all ages (people with babies and little toddlers, too!) and some tv. I came for my friend's birthday! People directed me where to go and helped me get a drink. The bathrooms were clean and the place was well lit and people were around if you needed anything. My friend brought decorations and pizza and noodles and fun stuff for her party, and we had a great time. I was just sorry I had to leave early but happy I made it up from Tacoma.

If you're looking for a tap house that feels like a secret clubhouse for grown-ups, with great slushies, Edway Tap House is your spot. Nestled under a house in Edmonds, it's got that "did I just stumble into something awesome?" I kept thinking wow I would love to own this place and live above it. The slushie drinks here are dangerously good, icy, flavorful, and perfect for summer sipping. The rotating tap list features standout local beers and ciders from places like Urban Family Brewing and Obec Brewing, so there's always something new to try. The bartender let us try a few cause 2 girls that aren't huge beer drinkers are hard to please but we found 2 keepers! They have theme Nights to keep it entertaining. Trivia nights bring out the brainy banter, and the cribbage club adds a quirky, nostalgic twist. There's even a walking club if you want to earn your pint with a few steps first. Wish I lived in Edmonds cause I'd be down for a walking club. Outdoor Games & Family-Friendly Vibes Edway isn't just for the 21+ crowd, it's proudly kid-friendly, with outdoor games like cornhole that keep everyone entertained and ladder golf. The spacious patio makes it easy to relax while the little ones play, and the welcoming atmosphere means families feel right at home. Also dogs allowed so that's my main reason for going too! Plenty of space means you won't be elbowing for a view, and the laid-back atmosphere makes it easy to settle in for a full match. While Edway doesn't serve food directly just some odd and ends like a pretzel I saw on the menu, they host a rotating cast of food trucks. Great find!

He was nice enough to let us show our friends the space., But was already sweeping and closing, which, as a restaurant owner and Winebar owner, I can attest is a huge no-no. All winter we would drop in on Monday night after concert often as late as 9:45 with no to few other customers in the room and be warmly greeted and sold a couple of glasses of wine just so that we could chill a little bit but, we never stay very long. And the girls were always very welcome and friendly.. But after maybe 25 visits, we get this guy, in a room packed with people, not that late, not friendly, not sorry, so sadly we left, but did show our friends the beautiful patio with the spectacular steady water and full moon. We will be back, although it's been a long time now thanks to that guy, and look forward to giving a five star review because this place really is special and doesn't even need our good review because they are busy busy busy in a town with absolutely nothing going on. (We moved to Gig Harbor to put the gig in Gig Harbor, and we still will. But now that Anthony's has purchased the Tides Tavern, the Tides is open until 10 and is welcoming and friendly to people who show up all the way until 10 because they're good business people. Restaurant people, club owners, like us will never be the last people to leave so are very considerate about coming in late to a place.) .

Hop Pharm serves guest taps of craft beer... they don't make their own beer it would appear. There are lots of good, local breweries on tap when we were here and we liked the options to pick from. From what I understand the tap list rotates out fairly frequently so the variety is always changing which I appreciate. Hop Pharm also has beer in cans for sale in a refrigerator that you can purchase. But we wanted to hang out here and chill rather than do a "to go" purchase. We liked the clean, sleek atmosphere that this place brought and the covered patio is quite nice. We were considering going outside to enjoy our beer but it is Spring and it can be a bit nippy still to sit outside for too long and so we went inside so we could stay warm. Some breweries we had from the current tap list was from Bizarre Brewing ( it was the In Some Far Place which is is an Extra Pale Ale) and from Stemma Brewing( we had the First Amber which is a Red Ale). Both of those breweries are favorites of mine so it was great to drink beers that I haven't previously tried from them. Steve and I met up with a friend and Hop Pharm proved to be a great place to catch up as it wasn't too loud or crowded and we could visit without shouting which was very, very nice and refreshing. The guy that was serving the beers was very nice and I complimented him on his Warrant t-shirt( a hair metal band).
