We went to a holiday market downtown for the lighting ceremony and Popin' in the City had a vender booth woth a variety of flavors. The person handing out samples was so nice, patient and welcoming, her personality and attitude is what really drew us in! We tried several flavors and quickly found we LOVE the gourmet popcorn! We've never tried gourmet popcorn but you bet we left with several bags! Later that week we decided to pop into their official shop and what would you know but another extremely kind soul served us. We tried half the flavors on the menu and love almost all of them, I'm surprised we didnt leave with half the store! We bought a few bags and talked about how sad we were that we are moving soon because we just found this place! The person serving us let us know we can order online and have it shipped to us!! We are over the moon that we will be so far away and still get our new favorite snack!! They have a large variety of flavors and we really loved the sweet ones! This place definitely surpassed our expectations!

At this point, close to $100 in sales for them. *Third visit: there was one flavor out of our haul that was so disappointing (Twix). I went in to ask if I could exchange for just a regular popcorn. Unfortunately, policy dictates "against our policy." I support store policies, I just wonder...is $7 (their cost probably $2-3 if that) worth not having my 4th, 5th, 6th, etc visit? Recommended response to empower your employees for the future, "Well, our policy dictates no returns/exchanges but we're happy to accommodate you this one time because we value our small business supporters & want you to come back." When purchasing two bags at the Titans game, we were tracked down by one of the workers on the way to our seats as the purchase had not gone through. Totally understandable; however, she wanted me to stay put out of eyesight from the stand while she went back to the stand to run my card. I was not okay with that, so we followed her back. I watched her run my card two more times minimum, and I had a feeling she overcharged me. She told me to reach out on Instagram or email if the charge was wrong, and sure enough I had been charged twice. I reached out with my receipt info and details of the charge and have yet to hear back...all while they've posted on Instagram plenty more times. Again, the kettle corn was fine -- not bad or I would give it a lower rating. The service really did rub me the wrong way as I followed their instructions to then have to dispute the charge. If they are going to have a social media presence, they need to respond to customers. I'd try it again if someone else buys it for me. The woman working the counter here was so nice and let us try a few different items in store and let us know what had been freshly roasted. The peanut shop is one of the original planters peanut shops, been there since 1927. Out of the 2000 shops they had around the country back in the day, only 4 are left. You walk in and it smells like roasted nuts. The warm salted roasted cashews were so good. They roast all their nuts there. If you like boiled peanuts this is the place to go. They have lots of other candy to choose from. We stocked up. The lady's that work there, super nice...gave us samples and tips on what to get. Great little nut store/candy shop. They still use the old school scales to weigh the nuts and candy. Wish more places like this were still around.
