We had five wine and cheese courses, in addition to the introductory wine and cheese to "warm us up." The space is warm and open. Tons of open coolers to check out cheeses and wines after. We paid almost 200 dollars for two people to have wine, cheese, a charcuterie and crusty bread board (optional). So about 100 bucks a person. I thought this was a reasonable value and we had such a great time. Keep in mind, this is was you make of it . . . the more questions you ask, the more you will learn. We learned about politics in cheese, cheese thievery, under-appreciated cheeses that smell like gym socks, but taste like a dream. A very laid back and congenial environment. We definitely plan on returning to shop! And they have a "girl scout and cheese pairing" class every April that I can't wait to try next year! As far as people complaining about parking, not sure what they are talking about. There is a commercial parking lot out front and the first two hours are free.

The cheese was delicious and it was cool to try some new ones I wouldn't normally eat. The wine pairings were delicious, I loved the white wines the best. This is a fun event to do with friends or as a date. You are able to shop from them afterwards as well. Parking is free for 2 hours and there is a large lot and garage.

Just like the Franklin location, this place is *chefs kiss* -- just tops!…read more I adore Savory Spice Shop, you can never lose shopping here. My absolute favorite is the Jamaican Jerk. I buy it in 3 cup bags and store in giant mason jars... that's how much I use it. Follow the recipe on the bag/website to make the sauce/marinade and it will not disappoint. I've been to the islands and this rivals it for taste. Very close. This particular location has easy parking behind the building, located in West Nashville. Smaller than the Franklin location, but great nonetheless. Other winners that I legit cannot live without -- black garlic salt. Capital hill. Golden maple. Several more but those are at the top TOP of my favorite list.

The staff was very nice when I walked in and helped me determine which spices I wanted to get based on the description my mom gave me. You have the ability to try the different spices before you commit to it and the amount given to purchase is pretty reasonable. They even have a rewards program when you spend a certain amount and a birthday gift! Overall great experience and I'll be sure to return.

This is one of my favorite sandwich places to eat. I am genuinely impressed with the service as…read morethey can be swamped and the team tries their best to keep up with the line. 1. They let you try really anything to make sure you'll like it. A good example is truffle cream, but even the cheeses. 2. They try and get ahead of the line. By that I mean while they are making sandwiches they reach out to get the next order, and I'm always impressed that they remember the order. If they don't, or are not confident they do follow up. 3. Lexi and Sam today were amazing handling sandwiches and the customers with grace and kindness. They made us feel like we were special and again didn't make us feel rushed. 4. Additionally, I have an allergy and Lexi was completely understanding. She not only switched gloves but she made my sandwich in a completely different area to make sure nothing was cross contaminated. 5. I have never been disappointed in a sandwich I have gotten here. "Negatives" it should be said that the sandwiches are on the expensive side. Especially if you add anything extra. Which is why I tend to come here as a treat, a friend is in town, or if someone hasn't tried this place before. Surprisingly the sandwiches are big and it can be tough to finish the full sandwich in one sitting, but also that can be dinner or lunch tomorrow. As far as I know I haven't found a free parking area, so you do have to pay for parking.

All three people behind the counter greeted me enthusiastically and with big smiles when I walked in. I perused the menu and opted for La Toscana. While I was waiting, I was enticed by the beautiful display of delicious and fresh ingredients in the display case. Every sandwich is made to order, but they worked very quickly so I didn't have to wait long. Overall the sandwich was excellent. In particular the Truffle Honey really took it over the top in terms of great flavors. I did feel that the focaccia was a bit too crispy, at least to my taste. I'm not sure if this was a one-off issue or if this is how they always make the bread. I would have preferred the focaccia to be quite a bit softer, but maybe that's just my personal preference. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was a very hot day so I stayed inside with the air conditioning. The place is really clean with some nice decor. The experience was really good, and I would certainly recommend this as a great sandwich shop with excellent Italian ingredients. I'll just hope for softer focaccia next time.
