This is not my first Popeyes review, and it likely won't be my last. I am big fan of their chicken, (sandwich or regular fried chicken) and their sides are great! If you like fried chicken there really is no better place to get it than a Popeyes. That said, as far as I know, most Popeyes suffer from the same same problem. Their service is subpar. Waiting for fried chicken is not a bad thing, it ensures it is fresh and that's good! But, consistently getting orders wrong? That's an issue and it is one that franchisees and corporate have overlooked for far too long. It is a rare even that I actually get exactly what I ordered, and I started double checking everything before I leave, (I go inside, drive thru is a sure way to not get what you ordered). The food is worth the effort but it does take a bit of extra work to see that you get what you ordered. read more

Just another overpriced fast food restaurant. Nothing special at all. The restaurant is clean and the clerks were better than average for today's times but there is no service to speak of. First time in Popeyes in a while but let me start off with the excellent customer service with the cashier forgot his name but he was very professional even though he was really busy with little help around him, the chicken is always good and fresh especially the tenders, I was surprised they did not have Cajun rice. read more

We frequent this location. It's actually our favorite one. We walked in and was greeted by friendly staff. Our order was accurate and fresh. The young man actually brought it to our table. The Dining are was clean. It wasn't terribly busy so there wasn't much of a wait. read more

Just trying going here for lunch for the first time- signs all over the building saying Now Open for carryout at 11am. At 11:05 all of the doors were still locked and the employees inside were just standing there staring at me. At 11:10 I had to make the decision to leave as I was on the clock and could not spend more time waiting for the doors to be unlocked. read more

Drive thru on my way home from work on a week night. Place was not crowded at all. No one in line at all. They said 3 minutes for fresh fries. I sat and waited for 20 minutes after paying in drive thru for them to bring my food out. Not sure why it took so long. When I got the food home it was good. The chicken was tender and fresh. The fries where good as well. Only thing is they forgot my drink on my kids meal. Just wish the service was a little faster in the drive thru. I've been here multiple times. The food is always hot & fresh. I usually have to wait 5 minutes or less which is totally understandable if you want fresh/hot food. Even during The Chicken Sandwich craze, I never waited more than 5 minutes. The only constructive criticism I can give might be that there's only 1 person working the dining room/front (need someone else sometimes) because each time I have needed ketchup or a to-go bag, I've had to wait as if I were in line to order food b/c she doesn't acknowledge me. Cole did an amazing job making sure my food came out in a timely manner. The sandwich was very crispy and the chicken was juicy. This is hands down the best tasting and most well managed Popeyes I've been too in a long time. And im a die hard Popeyes fan. read more

This a great place for good food! They don't hold chicken in cabinet like some places do. The tenders are of good size too and the variety of dipping sauce are awesome too. My cashier welcomed me with a smile and even though I had to Waite 4 minutes for fresh Cajun fries they tasted so good fresh out of fryer! I will definitely be back read more

This Popeyes was recently opened about a month ago and I'm personally disappointed with this one. I've had Popeyes in the Castleton and Cumberland locations and both were great. I've been here twice and both were "okay". The first time I went into the drive thru I ordered the fish and shrimp. Compared to the other Popeyes the portion I was given was smaller. A small handful of shrimp and only two pieces of very small fish. I was pretty upset as I had paid a little extra for the seafood and the sizes weren't great. The second time I went I ordered the chicken instead. When I had paid and left, I had realized that they didn't give me my drink, gave me no sauces, and didn't even put the meal in a bag (which is what was wrapped last time.) the rice and beans I had as a side were pathetically portioned as well compared to all other Popeyes. I'll admit at least the chicken was very good. I understand this Popeyes is new, but it is giving bad impressions for anyone that has never had them before. I plan on waiting a while longer before I give them another try and to rewrite my review. For now I believe that they are an "ok" fast food place. Popeyes is a good chain, I hope this one will straighten up with their service. read more

I stopped in for a late lunch, around 230 and it was Great! My food was correct, fresh and hot. I had less then a 2 minute wait. The Floors, tables and restroom was very clean. The 2 ladies behind the counter was very nice and polite. This is a wonderful place to go in and have a nice lunch, or dinner. Great Chicken and I love their Red beans and rice. read more

Kari the manager there is a pathetic excuse for an employee let alone manager. She was running the drive thru window. Her shirt was stained and looked disgusting, almost as disgusting as her attitude. She gave me the wrong food and aggressively yelled sorry at me when I had to come inside. She asked if I had two spicy tenders. Considering what I was missing was my sons kids meal which is one mild tender, I was confused and said I had the kids meal and she cut me off and aggressively repeated the same question. I grabbed my bags and proceeded to walk out and she started shouting "I'm just trying to get your order right." No respectful apology. I proceeded to call and she answered and I asked for the manager. She stated that she was the manager and assumed it was me so she started going on her tangent again. I informed I would be contacting corporate and ended the call while she's still aggressively repeating herself. I will never go there again as long as she's still employed. read more

Actually somewhat better experience than my first visit (which was right after they opened). We stopped for a quick bite to eat on our way to Ohio and other than they were out of various items (featured sauce for Magnolia Chicken), Magnolia chicken would have been another 10-15 minutes, Red Beans & Rice (which everyone before and after us was asking for), NO Iced Tea (Regular or Sweetened) etc. We just got the chicken tenders (spicy) which he said they had plenty of. When it came time to fill our order they were short because they cater to the drive-through over the dine in customers (typical of most fast food) so we had to settle for substitutes we didn't want or wait another 10-15 minutes. Basically if you just tell them "I'll take whatever you have and whatever the order fillers want to put on my tray" you'll be happy otherwise pass on this location. read more

I agree with Katharine. I've been to this particular Popeyes several times. The first time was the best experience, but I went inside and not through the drive up. I'll admit the food is good, I do like it, but each time since then, when I've been through the drive up, it's been nothing short of chaos. I've been through there several times and EVERY TIME they've forgotten something. Once or twice I actually got the wrong food. They should be named Popeye Surprise since I never know what I'm going to get (or not get). The employees seem pleasant enough, but after a month or better of being open, one would think they would have their act together. I think I'll not go back for awhile until I hear that things have changed. read more

We went the first week they were open and as expected it was extremely busy. After quite a long wait we place our order and sat and waited for our food. No shock to find out that our order was missing quite a bit of food. I brushed it off because of how busy they were. Then came time to actually eat the food. It was sub par even for Popeyes. Thought I'd try something different, I had never been to a Popeyes. Purchased a five piece chicken tenders combo. They weren't tender at all! In fact they were kind of gristly... Strike one. Many years ago, they were really good. Now, their chicken is sub patr. to Churches, and the rest of the food just is greasy and terrible.

Chicken was really fresh! The staff were all laughing and joking with each other. The gm seemed to be an active part of the staff. She was super nice and asked if everything was alright. Everything was fresh and we got everything we ordered at the counter by the time we were done paying. Asked for extra sauce and we got it! read more
