I ordered online so they could not mess it up. WOW was I wrong. 1. They had already blocked off the drive thru and it was only 7:20. 2. They tried to send me off without my drinks. The girl handing out the packaged food could not read so she did not know what was on the ticket to even check it. I calmly and politely showed her the drinks and she really did not know how to read. I had to tell her what was on the ticket. I am not being cruel I am being concerned. When she figured out what I was asking for she brought 2 drinks back and said to me, "No lids". REALLY...No lids. 3. Then the chicken cuts were wrong. 4. They did not put my side of potato's in. This place has been a nightmare since they opened a year ago but it was so bad this time I had to finally put a review online. I felt so sorry for the young girl at the register. Absolutely the worst place to get good service. You will wait FOREVER in the drive thru and then wait again to be helped once you get to the speaker. I placed a mobile order 39 mins before I arrived, the lobby is closed so my only option was to use the drive thru which had about 8 cars in it already, only to get to the window to be told they didn't have anything on my order. I ordered chicken and you sell chicken but you don't have any??? Ok well what about sides, nope we are out of those too?? Was also told I needed to cancel my order on my own they can't do it, WTC are y'all even doing here? So done with this place, I WONT be back. read more

Went to the drive thru today, after waiting behind five vehicles, I finally got to the speaker to place my order. After placing my order, the popeye's employee then informed me, we are only accepting cards. To which I said, you're not accepting cash, to which he stated "no". So I told him to keep his chicken. There are no signs posted stating this policy so I could have saved waiting in line. Last time I checked, the IS dollar was still the legal currency of this country. Any business that will not accept cash doesn't want my business. I don't and won't use credit cards for every purchase I make. There is far too much credit card fraud happening. I was a fairly regular customer, but I will be spending my dinner money elsewhere. read more

I went to this location to eat in the dining room. I went to the door and it was locked. There was not a notice on the door stating why it was closed. So I went to the drive-through. Once I got to the speaker I was told to hold. I was on hold for EIGHT minutes with 6 cars waiting behind me. When she finally came back on I started to order and she replies "we have no sides except fries. We also don't have any shrimp." I thought maybe it was because of the food shortage. But I went across the street to Golden chick and bought the same thing that Popeyes was out of. I tried calling the number listed on this location and has been disconnected. Probably because of too many complaints I'm guessing! This was very bad business and I don't see this location staying open very long. Very poor customer service . read more

Went on a Sunday night (12/26/21) and the line was moving super slow. Waited at the ordering intercom thing for FIVE minutes. And then when we get to the window, these women are walking so so painfully slow. Like I get y'all are kids and you don't wanna work, but jeeezzz if you have a long line and you're in a rush, then you should move and walk like you're in a rush. I can't even believe what I experienced in this place. Cashier was hard to understand. After I was sure she had the order right, she gave me the total and I swiped card. She said Fries has 2 minute wait. I scooted over to wait. Close to 10 minutes goes by while I watch the crew. There was an older gentleman in back cooking chicken and the manager was talking to him like a dog. She yelled at him, she yelled at the cashier who looked like she had no training. The manager came to the front yelling at girl in Spanish and then looks at me at end of counter with the meanest look and yelled "you no pay!" She made a scene yelling this several times while I looked and felt confused about what was going on. I asked what she was talking about and she nearly tore the monitor from the cash register, turning it around and yelled again "you no pay!". I tried to speak to her calmy and ask what was going on and said I had a hard time understanding her because she was talking at me, not too me with speaking too fast in frustration. This woman got very close to me staring me down with the meanest look. If I had not been picking up for someone else I would have walked out then. Manager ripped open the machine that holds receipt paper and again yelled at girl showing her no receipt paper was inside. The girl didn't ring the order up so I swiped again. I watch the crew with this lady just yelling and bossing everyone. I felt so bad for the older gentleman in back. Another couple walks in and the girl couldn't ring them up. Again, another round of yelling in Spanish, slamming everything she touched. The man walked over to me, and said he has never witnessed anything behavior like that in a popular establishment as big as Popeyes. I agreed it was very bad scene. Not many people would deal with this aggressive behavior especially in your face kind of thing. Hope she considers that in the world we live in today. read more

Waited in the drive thru for over 15mins- no one ever answered. Lights were on, cars in the parking lot and you could see chicken sitting out. Yet no employees in sight. Went next door to Wendy's (which had amazing service btw) and apparently the manager was arrested the day before. Popeyes, you are paying people to lock doors and not work! Went to the Popeyes in Hutto today after promising my family that I would never go to Popeyes again due to the last experience from a local Pflugerville franchise. This one was no better. What happened? Bland chicken that was overcooked. Meat was mushy and tasteless. One of my old favorites, red beans and rice, same story. Bland. My family made me double promise not to bring Popeyes home ever again and I won't. A 16 piece large family meal did not yield on breast. All tiny drumsticks, thighs and wings. I'm done with them. If you want really good fried chicken, try Bush's. Wish I would have done that instead of giving Popeyes another shot. No more though, you have been warned. read more

My friends and I decided to eat some Popeyes chicken for our hangout today. As soon as we drove into the drivethru, the menu was destroyed and ultimately missing vital portions. Therefore, we decided to eat inside and dine in. Although this wasn't a big deal since our schedules were free it still remained an absolute nuisance . While scavenging for a place to to be seated each and every top was filthy . There was even a table completely missing. We had ordered our food and I decided to get the 12 pc nugget meal. Then we all tried to use the drink machine. In our attempt at pouring the sprite it had squirted an unknown substance ( most likely the syrup necessary for the assumed soft-drinks ) Actually the Hi-C was protruding syrup all over the seem and even the torso portion of my shirt. Don't even get me started on how DISGUSTING the strawberry Fanta was. In an act of defiance I threw my combo cup away utterly disappointed at our presented options.Once I got my chicken I noticed a very odd odor pouring from the cracks of the poorly packaged box.The sides were adequate but ultimately the yellow hue glowing from the pinkish undertone of my chicken nuggets disturbed my very soul. The more chances I gave by taking bites the more diabolical the taste grew. I started to question "is this chicken fully cooked?" I wish I could give half or even no stars for how much money I wasted on trying to get a decent chicken meal. I had my friend try my chicken and he could definitely tell something was wrong with it. My friend got the 4pc chicken meal and he let me try his and I could definitely tell in comparison mine was undercooked. There was 12 nuggets and I ate about 1 1/2 of them. Even the potatoes had this weird color that made me decide to throw them away. Seeing my nuggets my other friend who had also gotten them threw them away before even looking at them. In the end we decided to go to the chikfila 4 minutes away and get some actually good chicken. While eating the chikfila nuggets I ate genuinely cooked chicken that was actually hot and fresh. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to eat Popeyes for the next few weeks after that. read more

It's a new store, this place should have top notch customer service. The ones in Pflugerville and round rock NEVER gave me a problem.

This Popeyes has only been here for about a year. The outside is usually pretty nice and clean, I believe the inside is closed still. We love Popeyes and drive over to Hutto to get some every so often, but they have got to do better. Every single time they are out of multiple items and they forget items with your order. Then you can't go in to get what was left out because the outside is locked. I know there are shortages right now and not enough employees, but we are very patient. I don't see how a manager can overlook all this or be oblivious to it. read more
