Called the manager the next morning and Brenda said her employees were overworked and stressed due to policies of upper management. She shifted blame and become agitated herself. Wow!! Purchased the "shrimp tackle box". The picture shows butterfly shrimp. These were barely popcorn shrimp and they were not even hot. When I opened the box I thought they had forgot to put in the shrimp. I have ordered that at other Popeye restaurants and it was fine. This Popeyes is barely a 1 star restaurant. Took over 15 minutes to get the order after pulling in the drive through. I have been to this Popeyes 3 times and have always had poor service or an incorrect order. So if you are hungry for Popeyes, wait until you find one besides the Ardmore location or you will be sorely disappointed. read more

Feb 27th. Went at 8:45 PM. Ordered 10 chicken sandwiches and 3 mac n cheese and said we would wait. They said they couldn't do that because they had already shut everything down. Wait! What? Was of offerd chicken strip sandwiches. No thank you. What is the owners name or managers name. They said they could refuse service. Shut the microphone off. Went to go in. Locked the doors. Who shuts the doors and cleans things when you don't close for another hour or two? Went tr o Burger King and they were slammed but took our big order with a smile. The service I had was the worst. I ordered off the app to pic up at window, was told to come inside and wait for it. Order is never right and when something is said you get what ever they can reach. They don't try to make it right. Food is always stale and cold. Food seams to be cooked in the morning and sets out all day. Not going back. The worst Popeyes ever. read more

Usually the staff and food is good but today was a different story. I made a mobile order and wanted to pick it up at the drive thru. I am the only customer at drive thru and there's only one customer inside and yet I am told to wait more than 5 minutes. When the lady comes back, I tell her that I have a mobile order to pick up and she replies that I can only pick it up inside. It is raining outside and during this pandemic, she wants me to walk inside instead of just handing me my order via the drive thru pick up window. Your guess is as good as mine. So I walk inside and she begrudgingly tells me that is the rule. My strawberry lemonade slush was not even prepared correctly.. the strawberry syrup and lemonade slush was separated; were they too lazy to mix it? I visited this location and received an order partially incorrect, but didn't realize it until I had returned to my hotel room. I called the restaurant to complain about my missing shrimp in a fit of what can only be described as exhaustion induced insanity, because generally I just ignore messed up order. We are only human after all. However, when I explained to the manager what had happened it turned out he had been who I'd ordered with and he remembered me. He then proceeded to offer to deliver my missing shrimp after closing, or take my information so that I could pick them up the next day. He was incredibly friendly and very serious about fixing this mistake. I honestly didn't really expect much from this phone call other than being able to vent about my missing shrimp, which really was not a big deal, and instead I was reminded that there are still people in this world that will go out of their way to do something nice for others. So thank you Micheal for going above and beyond, and the food was pretty great too. read more
