Such a bummer. We ordered here tonight and the meal was super disappointing and very expensive. We got a 12 piece chicken tender family meal that came with two large sides and 6 biscuits. That ran us about $40. No drinks included. We brought it home and started dividing it up only to find that the size of the tenders was shockingly tiny. Now I will say we got closer to 15 than 12, but all the pieces were maybe 3 to 3.5 inches long. Most were closer to 2 inches or less, and incredibly skinny. OMG! This location needs to be reported to the health department, for real! So, I get 6 FREE wings through T Mobile Tuesday Special. I NEVER had Popeye wings before, so I thought I'd try them. First, I went to this location and was told I could not use the T-Mobile special, it had to be online; I purchase 6 "lemon pepper" bone-in wings anyways just to try them. This is most foul place ever. Customer service is non-existent and the quality of the food is also terrible quality. The employees are quite rude and the orders are consistently incorrect. They are not very responsive when the orders are incorrect and the level of service to rectify the issue is very low. On the most recent experience here, my husband ordered the three piece tenders meal and got three piece chicken. When he went to tell them, the guy dumped the chicken back the batch. He didn't get the biscuit and just shrugged off the mistake. He had ordered spicy chicken tenders, the guy only had one spicy one so just gave him 2 other non-spicy ones and didn't even say a thing. To top if off the chicken tenders were cold. THEN! The chicken sandwich bun had some questionable situations on it, there was paper or something stuck and baked into the bottom of the bun. Popeyes has been in the news an awful lot recently regarding the re-release of their chicken sandwiches. Online sources list multiple fights between people in line and someone even plowing their car into the restaurant to get these! So, after training up with some serious kickboxing at my gym and wrestling with my cat at home, I figured I was ready to go get mine. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your viewpoint), I didn't have to go mano-a-mano with anyone as I showed up at 10:01am when they opened to try their chicken sandwich. The staff were still scrambling to open up and were really ready around 10:10. But at least they were friendly so again, I didn't have to unleash my Fists o' Fury(tm). I got their standard non-spicy meal, with a soda and a side of mac n' cheese. And...dang, that sandwich is *good*! As in, 'Chick Fil A has some real competition' good. The batter on this is crisp, with a great crunch, and there are two slices of real, crunchy dill-type pickles on this! Yes, that sounds odd but consider that McD's and Chik-fil-A's are sad little warm postage-stamp pieces and you'll understand what I mean. Also, this location has one of those programmable soda machines, so I can get weird stuff like ginger ale with a splash of lime in it. The only negative I can really put my finger on is the mac n' cheese. Watery and horrible, do not order this! Stick with something fried and Popeyes has you covered. Just don't get into fistfights or do anything rash for this food, okay? Save the really violent stuff for when you want a Klondike ice cream bar. Average it all out and I'd give it 4 stars on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. This location is just.. awful. I assume it's management. They consistently either forget items from orders, give someone else your order, and/or the staff are genuinely indifferent to any customer needs. The food is usually fine, but management is hiring sloppily at best. I'm furious about the terrible service at the Cedar Park location. Every single time I've been there, it's been a disaster! Rude workers who can't be bothered to look at customers, messed-up orders constantly - it's unacceptable! This was our first time at a Popeyes. Have to say this was the WORST experience at a fast food restaurant!! We ordered 2 individual mashed potatoes, individual coleslaw, individual mac n cheese and 5 piece tenders. When we got home one of the mashed potatoes ended up being a rice & beans. The potatoes and the Mac n cheese were put in the large containers and consisted of about 2 tablespoons of food in each. The coleslaw was in the regular small container and only half filled. The tenders were very tasty and loved the crunch. As for the rest of the food it looked disgusting and tasted awful. All the sides were tossed in a paper bag laying in all directions in the bag then put in a grocery size plastic bag. We will not be going back. read more

They do not answer the phone so don't bother calling. Two stars is over rated for this place. If the employees would focus on the job at hand and follow the process things could be so much better. It is obvious communication is a problem here and the processes are not followed. Always check your order in the drive-through before leaving. They will screw up the simplest order. I am still amazed how they get away with serving cold chicken. After today, I am going on hiatus from this place. I just cannot with them anymore. This place does not see to get it. I do not know how the receipt says one thing, but they will fill your order incorrectly. When you make a mistake, don't make it a customer issue. When I brought the food back to them 30 minutes later, the first resolution was just to add to the incorrect order. When I buy food, I want fresh food and the correct items. Pathetic. Haven't gone to this location in probably 2 years do to their complete inability to do anything involving math with numbers great than 1. And, the seemingly random selection of items when there is only 1. So, we decided to try again hoping things may have improved. Nope! We ordered two chicken sandwiches (no pickles), one 5pc tender meal, and 6pc wings. When they handed me thebag at the window, I asked if that was everything and they guy said yes. After heading home, I asked my Daughter to verify because it felt too light. The bag only had the one chicken sandwich, and the 6 piece of wings only. We go back, I explain that it was only half of the order and the manager asks me what we got. Really? Its so unorganized that nobody keeps track of anything? So I explain what is missing. After a while of watching the other staff standing around laughing at the situation, they give me a second bag. I confirm that it contains everything missing. The manager confirms. This time, before leaving the parking lot, my Daughter checks and finds that there are only three (undercooked) tenders buried underneath the fries in the box. We go back and explain it to them again. The manager asks me to wait and disappears in back while the entire rest of the crew is all still talking and laughing about the situation/ basking in the glow of their awesomeness. Finally get home (5 miles away) with the now cold yet correct count of food items, and the chicken sandwich had pickles. Contacted Popeyes corporate. After a full explanation and wanting me to jump thru hoops getting them the receipt and other info, they finally decide they if I register an account (so they can market to me) that they would give me 500 rewards points (thats $5) as a courtesy.
