By far the worst service in the entire area of chalmette. Not only do they interrupt in the middle of ordering, but they also are timing themselves as far as the orders come out. They will stop you at the first window, which is not in use. And then they will proceed to wait an extended period of time to have cars pull up, ultimately leaving you in line for roughly 30 minutes. The rudest employees I have ever dealt with AND this is literally the 3rd time in a row my order was wrong!!! When I asked to please correct my order they continued to just ignore me at the drive thru and then I stayed and waited for the Manager and asked her to correct my order and she proceeded to tell me that they don't serve spicy chicken!!! I have only eaten spicy chicken my entire life from Popeyes bcuz it's the only chicken I eat but she would rather lie to my face that fix my order!!! Don't know how this Popeyes got such a low score. Recently brought a twelve piece spicy from this location and it was, delicious. Some locations you ask for spicy and it tastes as if they gave you mild. Chalmette's chicken was so good and you could taste the spicy flavor. They look the doors alllllll the time during business hours. Food never correct. The employees are always arguing and playing around complaining about working. The managers argue with each other and the older guy likes to include the customers in the chaos instead working. This is the only fast food place that takes HOURS to even take your order and even longer to charge and give you wrong food. This place needs to be shut down and start over. I HATE THUS LOCATION. The kids aren't disciplined and adults act like kids. Locked lobby for what. They redid the drive thru and still only use one lane. I don't usually leave reviews but the service was that bad. We ordered on the app and the Kiosk. Off the bat there was an argument amongst employees and an employee kept storming in and out. After waiting 20-30 minutes, we go up to the register and get told rudely we had to have presented our receipts for them to even get started on our orders. Staff was rude and unapologetic. After finally getting our food (they were out of many things) the order was missing our drinks, I went back in line only to get ignored. We weren't the only ones in the lobby disgruntled about the slow service. Be prepared to spend at least 30 minutes here to receive your food, the bathrooms were dirty too! Re the Chalmette, LA store, the outside lights do not work so you are never sure if they are open. The drive thru menu is only 1/3 lit so you cannot read it. When we got home, the order was all wrong. Although the receipt reflected the proper order, we were missing the tenders from our combo meal and no cajun rice or sauces were included in the bag. I was told it was unfair to customers that didn't place an order nor paid in advance. My order was not placed on the online shelf as it should have been once the orders came in. The woman stated 1st I needed to call Doordarsh. Then said no wait named the two large sides and said they were still there. With the store closed due to covid-19 I said the Doordarsh delivery man didn't make mistake they don't go in the store. She said no so you can come get it right now. She gave me a phone number however; it wa incorrect corporate number( I had to look it up online) she refused to give managers name and said you call the Popeye number and figure it out and hung up. I called back. Same woman answered said she didn't have to give me the managers name. I explained its public knowledge, and poor customer service not to give the store managers name and regardless I would call and find out so please tell me their name she yelled a name and I in an upbeat tone yet sarcastic words said see that wasnt hard we both learned something here. Order is never ever right. I went there today through the drive through and ordered blackened tenders and regular tenders. When I got home the blackened tenders were pretty close to... the color black, hardened with loads of seasoning. And the other ones.... one was so big it looked like a drumstick and when I split it open it was slightly pink inside. How do you expect to cook thick tenders like that and the usual thin ones for the same amount of time?
