Ordered online and picked up within 10 mins. Everything was fresh, good as it should be. Juicy inside and crunchy outisde chicken. Love it! I had never had popeye's before and now I am hooked on their chicken! The problem with this location is that YOU CANNOT GO INSIDE. THE DOORS ARE ALWAYS LOCKED. You cannot go in to use the bathroom order food, or pick it up. You have to go to the drivethru, they always tell you to wait, then either make your order over (you wait for because they make it fresh) or you can give them your name and get your prepaid for food you paid for online. WHY DO THEY NOT SAY ONLINE THE DOORS ARE LOCKED SO NO ONE CAN COME INSIDE? It is a big inconvenience when you drive over to order and eat food somewhere and you cannot go in to do either. read more

You know, compared to the disgusting location in O'Fallon this place is the Taj Mahal. We ordered pretty late at night close to midnight, and an amazing young man was very respectful and helped me and my fiancé pick out the foods and answer questions we weren't sure about. Used the drive in and waited over 5 minutes to place my order and no cars were ahead of me. I pull and park to use the restroom and place my order, but the restroom was closed. I went to the counter and I no one spoke to me to place my order, and I was the only person at the counter for 5 mins and no service. That was a sign to never go to that location again. read more

Honestly, their food is good. The problem is getting it. We have tried three times. Usually they have the lobby closed so only drive through and I'd get the "one minute" but after 20 minutes and a couple "hellos" no one answered and we drove away. There is no one in the lobby and we were the only ones in line. Then we had a line and they drove away too. We waited because we were hungry and we love the food but does anyone who works there care? The first two times also took a long time and both times the orders were wrong, but at least we got food. read more

The men's room was also being used for storage. No soap or hand towels. The sweet tea wasn't sweet and tasted off. They only had 2 employees working. I had to stand at the counter several minutes whie the employee working the front took care of drive up customers, including taking food out to them, and Door Dash pickups. I ordered in the drive thru. There were 3 cars parked from the drive thru waiting on their order. (I should have realized at that point). I ordered a chicken sandwich. That's it. After waiting 34 minutes in a parking spot, I walked inside the restaurant to ask about my order. It was sitting there ready to go, but nobody had brought it out to me. I guess I'm just an unteachable since I placed a mobile order 20 minutes ago and when I arrived it was not ready or even had acknowledged the order was placed. She made my order after I informed her I had a mobile order. Keep in mind there were 2 people in the lobby at the time. If there had been a line I would have waited as if I did not place a mobile order.. so tell me what's the point? That's it for me.. I do not recommend this place, go to Church's if you want your orders in a timely manner...good news is there is not a wait in lobby anymore since customers do not return here any longer. read more

Today, Sunday Dec. 21, we went to the drive thru and order 10 spicy tenders and Mardi Gras mustard. Total $17.57. We got 9 tenders, not spicy, honey mustard, and they didn't have change for a $20. The employees are VERY rude! I went to order two chicken sandwich meals with Dr. Pepper to drink and the lady said "We have Pepsi products." So, I ask for a Mr. Pibb instead and against she says "We have Pepsi products." At this point I'm just confused so I ask her "Can I have your version of Dr. Pepper then?" to which she says, very rudely, "We have PEPSI products. It's the only dark soda we have." I'm just confused at this point so I tell her "I'll take whatever dark soda you have then." since there's just no understanding on what they even have to drink. I pull up to the window and she tells me the total and hands me my drinks. I tel her thank you every time she hands me anything - drinks, straws, food, etc.. and nothing. Not a "You're welcome" back or anything. Just handing out my order and ignoring anything I say. Just rude! I spent my early morning in the hospital with a very sick family member and decided six hours later to stop and get some lunch from Popeyes. First I was told that I had to pay by cash or credit card. OK, what were they expecting, EBT? I asked for a 3 pc meal. I asked could I get (2) legs, (1) wing, fries and sweet tea. Although the chicken is pretty good. The day I went through the drive through was horrible. First of all the speakers apparently weren't working, so u had to order at the window. Which slowed things down considerably. Then they were out of fountain drinks, they had two choices Mountain dew or punch. I got the punch, which was horrible. Ok let's be honest here your not coming to Popeyes for the service, your here for some bad ass fried chicken. Popeyes does not disappoint. The chicken was fresh and hot when I got it and it reminds me why I keep coming back here. The sides were on point to. You got to get the Red Beans and Rice. It's just great. The biscuits go great with it. I went inside because to get to the place by car is hard. For some reason there's only one lane to access the place from the busy street. I parked in the garage and walked in. They messed up my order and almost charged me $30 extra until I corrected them. I think there were just busy and not trained on how to use the registers. I have reviewed other Popeye's locations before so this is mostly about the systemic failure of this place to fix the little things. I have some good things to say about this specific outlet for this specific visit. The place was clean. Every staff member was very polite and seemed to be trying hard to give a good experience. My meal was good, the chicken is consistently what I expect and came for. My concern is the system that these folks labor under. I refuse to blame the hourly wage worker for Popeye's near perfect record of taking way too long from order taken to actual food in hand. [Made worse by the giant piles of product 10 feet from your nose as you stand there stomach growling] The poor guy had to make "sorry for the wait" a programmed part of his dialogue with customers. It has to be the layout/process/staffing/training, because it is never any better at any Popeye's I have ever been to in any state. Consider too, this is the place that researched, planned and marketed a sandwich that they do not consistently have in stock. Do they not plan? Did they think it would fail? read more

Place is trash. They've had their lobby doors locked/closed since COVID, and in order to pickup an online order you just use the Drive-Thru. Guess what, their service is so slow it takes an hour to get through the drive-thru. Don't waste your time here, go to the Greenmount location. The Farview Heights restaurant is the worst I have ever been to. This location is consistently bad and sometimes closes the inside on lunch hours. The workers are rude and don't clean anything in the store. The parking lot has multiple pot holes. I can't believe this location is still open and will never visit again. read more

I like this location! The food here is fresh. Manager is super nice, actually all the workers here are very friendly. The restaurant is clean inside and out. They repaved their parking lot recently which is nice because it was looking a little run down. They make accommodations which is also plus. They're also super busy, majority of the time their line is out into the highway (no joke) but I can understand why...because all of the following above I just noted. This is my to go Popeyes when I'm in the area because the other location they just open really sucks! Now, they just need a new drive thru menu and better intercom to go with their clean interior and exterior! read more

Lobby is closed. Ordered 3 sandwiches. We were given 2 and told the 3rd was "made to order". We were told 7 minutes. 25 minutes later our sandwich comes out. In the meantime, thinking they forgot our sandwich tried to go in- lobby closed. Service was awful. All the employees were too busy on their phones to help people. They were out of everything but tenders and fries. Only had 2 kinds of dipping sauce to choose from. We waiting 20 minutes for our chicken and then she picked them from the chicken that had been on the rack the whole time. To say the staff was rude is almost a compliment. Bathroom was gross, toilet nonfunctional, sink only had ice cold water. No heat in the whole restaurant, workers were dressed in their winter coats with their hoods up to stay warm. We waited for nearly 5 mins when she finally came back as said thanks for waiting what can we get for you to which I said we were still waiting to know if there were any pies. They didn't, we drove around and the window gal repeats the order which is wrong, had to be corrected had to tell her twice what sauces and drink I wanted. Check the bag before leaving the window and STILL WRONG! Had to park and go inside and wait 5 more mins. Only good thing is the food was good. This place has a problem with speed or a lack of it sadly in terms of a "fast food" establishment goes. I actually left the drive through after waiting about 8 minutes and not moving and managed to wait another 20 minutes to get my food inside and take it to go. Yep, I still beat the car that was in front of us in the drive thru! Wow... Not sure why it's so show here bc they have plenty of food sitting in the racks, it's clearly visible and they have like 15 people on shift back there as well.. Just no acknowledgement of customer service with speed of service I guess in 2019. It's a shame really as I look forward to visiting Popeyes every once in a while. read more
