I have tried every chicken sandwich in Flint, Michigan. They all have been pricey, spicy cardboard. Until i tried my first Popeyes in October, this has become my favorite chicken sandwich. Until this time, I thought all breast meat had to be dry and tasteless. The sandwich so big I, with my smaller appetite, need 3 days to finish the sandwich. My husband needs 2 days. Most people would finish in one sitting. Even the reheats don't ruin this crispy deliciousness. I only wish I had stopped here years ago when they first opened. I like their chicken better than Kentucky Fried, which to be honest , was the best I could find in the area and there is more than one place to visit. The others were all bad to inedible. Been there twice but never again. The service is terrible and the place is dirty. On my last visit I ordered 9 pieces of chicken, red beans and rice, and 4 biscuits. When I got home I had 7 pieces of chicken, half filled red beans, and 4 biscuits that were stale. Also, I waited 20 minutes for that order and they were not busy. Their attitudes are terrible as if I'm inconveniencing them by ordering. Do yourself a favor and find another location. read more

This place is horrible, I got a spicy chicken sandwich meal and it was completely cold then I went back into the drive thru and returned it for it to be remade. The lady said go into a parking spot which I did. She then took 15 minutes to give me my sandwich which was still cold in the middle because all she did was put it into a microwave. Disgusting and dirty... it smelled a tad bit like sewage backup.. the trash receptacles were overflowing, tables were dirty, food wrappers on ground outside in the parking lot - no one acknowledged anyone waiting in line- they had a sign up displaying everything they were sold out of.. we walked out without even getting to order.. ps the drive thru was long and never moved an inch that we could tell! read more

Every time I door dash from here they always forget something. This time they made the door dasher wait so long for about 45 mins maybe more and when the food was delivered the chicken AND the tenders tasted like it was set out for hours. Terrible customer service. Went inside to order and menus were down so had to go thru the drive thru and the gentlemen wouldn't let us do a split bill and didn't have hardly any of the items we wanted to order. This is the day we went and watched the Solar Eclipse. I can't believe this place is still open. Bathrooms unusable, woman's bathroom was in pieces literally. Lid of toilet laying on the floor in front of the door. The men's bathroom had plastic over the urinal, but it was moved to the side and used with terrible smells. Men's toilet well you can imagine-blown out. No toilet paper, nothing to dry your hands with. I didn't go any further I left the bathroom. Too bad I ordered my food already or I would have just walked out. So now I wait for my food. 45 minutes later someone asks me what am I waiting for, I find out my food order was never processed. I thought it was odd that the lady that took my order went to a table and ate some fries and talked on her phone. She told the other employees she was leaving to get something from Arby's. Later another employee came from the back eventually and asked what we ordered. She attempted to make our meals, but it still wasn't right. The customer in front of me waited for 45 minutes for her order also. She was very upset. Lastly the person that showed as we were getting our food and told us "what are you guys doing do not stop here". She said she does door dash and dreads going there. So does the employees have their own bathroom or do they use the same as the customers bathroom? Gross! I love Popeyes, but stay away from the Flint location. Terrible! ordered the wrap big combo at 1030am I had to get it delivered for lunch for work .first the didn't have any wraps didn't say what my options was keep in mind my meal was 13.99 they gave me two chicken strips and the two sides and a drink and the chicken strips was hard I ordered a strawberry pie they gave me apple yeah I thought Clio rd popeyes was horrible. won't be going to either one of those again. highly disappointed read more

ordered an 8 pc all dark spicy chicken meal, had to wait in a parking spot for 30 minutes for my order which I was ok with. then they came to the car to ask me what I ordered and came back 10 min later damn near threw my food at me and walked away. I checked to make sure all the things were in the bag but didn't check the chicken. got home 20 min swat and what I got was a 4 pc regular no spice with 2legs a thigh and a breast. trying to call their number and no answer straight to a recording that hangs up on you or rings till it hangs up on you. OMG what else could they do in an abysmal manner? We stopped in last week to get some chicken for me and my wife, who doesn't eat meat or poultry etc, just said she'd try the mac and cheese and fries. Well, we wound up walking right back out the door, along with the other customers in line. First of all, nobody behind the counter acknowledged anyone- they blatantly ignored everyone. They apparently were out of multiple items, people were yelling in the drive through (we could witness and hear the arguing), they had no menus out, and the place was dirty and run down, with dirty floors, water running on the floors (don't where the source is), and litter everywhere. Trash overflowed from the bins, and the dining room was not cleaned, and it smelled of must or mildew. It was weird. Even the parking lot was dirty and you could see fast food bags and wrappers on the parking lot surface. We promptly walked out, never once acknowledged by the staff. This place needs a deep cleaning, a remodel and new build out and some serious attention to customer service - re-training is in order. read more

It's shortly after 11 AM, so I'm thinking what could possibly go wrong? The food should be fresh and hot. I order a chicken sandwich; you know, the one that became so popular a summer or so ago. I get my sandwich, it looks like somebody took one chicken tender and ripped it in half with their bare hands. The chicken wasn't even hot, but it looked like a hot mess. This is the second time I've gone to this restaurant to get lunch and each time they tell me that they do not have an item on their menu, which I think is ridiculous. All I want is to try the blackened chicken tenders, but apparently they do not make them. What is the point and having something on your website and on the app and on the menu, but you don't serve it! read more

It was disgusting and dirty. The young lady that took my order at the drive through was impossible to understand. They were out of everything including most types of chicken, she claimed, and did not have any to fry. The garbage was falling out of the trash can right in front of the window. The same girl that took my order also put my food together and for added flavor kept scratching her scalp and braids, touching the inside and outside of the boxes, along with acting like I did something to her. TBH, I would not be surprised if they didn't do something to my food. I also waited forever to get my order. I'm surprised they are still in business. Just awful. Consistently bad service, long wait times, and rude employees. I keep coming back because I'm a glutton for punishment. Literally got stuck in line waiting over 50 minutes for my food. I would have gone in to get a refund after they had me pull ahead and it took another 23 minutes to actually get my food but then I would have to bring my kids in. Popeyes is hands down my favorite fast food chicken. That is the only reason I keep coming back. The Miller Road location was wonderful when they first opened. Since then, the staff does not seem engaged with the customers. As I type this I am waiting for my 2 piece dinner. Got to the window and they gave me someone else's food. They did not seem to care that my order disappeared. Also, they have no ice for my dogs Whomever owns this location would be wise to retrain the staff and encourage a more client based operation.
