Went and visited my son up at school and both of us being burger fans took a shot at this spot. First and foremost it was nicer than I expected. I thought it would be more fast food in appearance, and in some ways it was with the self serve drink dispenser and plastic silverware, but aesthetically it was far more pleasing than any typical fast food burger spot. You know who I'm talking about. The counter person was absolutely wonderful dealing with us and our questions. Now onto the important stuff. Burgers are two patties and massive. You are definitely getting your money's worth. We split 3 different ones amongst us and they were all good: the mushroom, the southwest, and the brunch. The meat itself is a little flavorless but that might be cause typically I have the meat cooked to medium and these were well done. We weren't asked how we want them cooked so I'm assuming this is just how the cook all the patties. What I didn't like were the fries. They were cold and chewy like they have been sitting around for a while. My son ordered a caramel and it was absolutely delicious. So that was a huge positive. Long the words on the menu are so small you really won't know what you get. I got the freaking burger it ended up being a double which was great. Because it was a guessing game. I made it a combo for as n extra 5.00 The straw for the drinks are real tiny. The burger was bland smooshed together in a ball ... Burger looks like it has 100 toppings in it and you really can't taste any of it. A steep price for the quality I have this place below Culver's or bk. And wendys. read more

It's been about 7 years since we last ate here, so coming back from UP, we decided to stop here for dinner. I'm happy they offer some vegan items which are clearly indicated on a separate card. You can easily customize your vegan burger or bowl. The burger I built was good, the only item I didn't like was the bun. Unfortunately their regular bun is not vegan so I had to get the gluten free one which was very bad. I never had a good gluten free buns, so this was no surprise. Next time I'll probably get the burger bowl skipping the bun altogether. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Yum!! Hubby enjoyed his burger and fries. Was in the area and we wanted a quick bite to eat. We saw this burger joint and after looking over the menu saw that they have something for all. There's plenty of parking which is always a plus for us. We came in and placed our order. I did notice while placing my order that they serve beer .We got our drinks and were seated. It's been a couple years since we had last visited (our very first visit was 8 years ago!) and sadly the quality has gone down SO drastically from that first review :(. Wish we would have taken pictures of the food but we forgot we were so disappointed in the fact that we threw most of it away (especially the onion straws). We have never had them so greasy, mushy, and yucky like this. They were leaking (pooling) grease out of the bottom of the cone stand! Price $3.99 Smothered Fries (large) -- Taste, okay, they didn't really put much of the "smothered toppings" on. Size, We were quite surprised by the small portion with it being the "large size"! Price $8.99 (OVERPRICED!!) Deep fried Oreos -- Taste, yuck. Again, fried Oreos were greasy & burnt. Size, what we saw on their menu/instagram looks WAY bigger then what comes out to you! You get 4 fried burnt greasy Oreos and a small portion of ice cream. Price $5.99 (OVERPRICED!!) Wow was I disappointed. This used to be my favorite burger place but today was the worst experience we've had anyplace in a long time. I have photos but no place to post them. Our bill was $30 our fries were cold even though I ordered no salt fries how can that be cold? The burger bun was hard and stale it was gross. I'd ordered cheese sauce to dip my fries in and my husband went up to get it they twice tried to charge him for it and argued he had to come back to our table for the receipt while his food got colder finally they gave us a cup of curdled flavorless cheese. Also we'd talked about getting a shake we arrived at about 11:15 the person who waited on us said it wasn't up yet I work at a ast food place and was like what!!! It should be reasdy when you open. Of course i only thought this we didn't bother with that oh well less money spent. The ice tea lid was sitting near the food station not even on the tea. I have a photo of that the trash can area had dirty towels and a spray bottle of a chemical laying there it was gross. Sorry but man I doubt I'll be back sad about that but it's downhill. I love this place! I think I ate at the Grand Blanc one before but I'm not 100%, so needless to say I was excited to come here. After a long and busy morning of driving, I was desperate and borderline hangry for food. Like bad hungry. So, I found the location and scooted my way into the restaurant. Fortunately, they open at 10:30 daily. I scoured the menu but was pretty sure what I was going to get. I ended up with the Ancho burger (minus the bacon!) with sweet potato fries and a drink. The bill was a bit higher than I expected at almost $15. I figured out why later on, I think. I got a double patty burger instead of a single patty. Anyway, I sat down and waited for my food. Eventually, it came out. Let me tell you, it was fabulous! The sweet potato fries are absolutely delicious here. I don't know what they did, but they really are the best around. Place is clean and well stocked with all sorts of condiments, clean places to sit and a vast huge menu. I really wish there was one closer to the Detroit area because I would probably go more often. read more

Food is desert nothing to write home about. Food is a bit over priced for what you get. Service is quick and efficient but is still a fast food type restaurant. Has a fast food ambiance to the restaurant and would consider this in the same range as a five guys. read more

Not sure what all the hype is about. For what I paid I would rather spend my money elsewhere. You order at the counter are given a number they bring the food to you. For a burger regular size and regular burger with a fry and a drink it cost me $11. I easily could have ate elsewhere and been served by a server for less than that amount. The burger was cooked fresh but lacked flavor. The fries were decent some other places offer unlimited fries with your meal for less money. This place was clean but I missed the WOW factor that is going to make me want to come back. The staff was welcoming. If they ran a special I would but not at normal prices. It may be worth a stop but it is not my top 25 places I would choose. I stopped a second time after buying a Groupon . Glad I did . The 2nd experience was much better. Partner and I went on a day trip to Flint and decided to try this burger joint. It was really good! This is an order at the counter place and they bring out the food to you. I had the southwest burger which had avocado and a nice sauce, burger was a good size, not those flimsy McDonald's patties. Sloppy mess and slow service at that! I sent my boyfriend to get dinner a few nights ago. We decided to give this place a try. It was quite pricey, but people had reccomended it before. We figured why not? Bad choice... Overpriced, soggy buns, and the sauce was literally everywhere. I couldn't pick it up without getting my hands drenched and it dripping all over me. This was the best burger joint I've ever been to. They had a great variety of unique burgers you could choose from. Now that's what a burger place should be about: variety and great flavor! It wasn't the healthiest place to eat but their food was really good. I loved their fries, too - the regular ones and the sweet potato ones. I'm bummed that they close the metro Detroit location. They grind their own beef (certified angus). They make their own brioche buns in-house, fresh every day. Their toppings list includes ridiculously awesome add-ons, including but not limited to: grilled pineapple, onion straws, green olive tapenade, wasabi mayo, fried wantons, thai sauce, boursin cheese, fresh jalapenos, ancho bbq sauce, roasted garlic onion jam.... the list goes on... AMAZING options for spectacular burger fusions. But the cherry tomato on this burger awesome: THE PRICE! Each burger is well under $10, closer to $5, which is crazy considering that a regular order includes TWO patties. It is, dare I say, Freakin' Unbelievable. A little more artisan than Five Guys, with more ingredients for a full on customized meal. The full menu, fresh food and spectacular variety of sauces, toppings and cheeses in addition to craft beer options and sides/desserts are more reminiscent of a Bagger Dave's set up, but in my opinion, Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers wins every time. What I ordered: the Drunken Mushroom was excellent, as were the sweet potato fries, and props to them for having water cups that are a decent size. They cost extremely too much to not get the order correct I just went and got the cod burger and fried pickles because they messed it up the first time and they messed it up again. I have been here a few times and just realized I haven't given them a Yelp review. This place really deserves the 5 starts. The topping choices are out of this world - and some are off the wall. Though, some people might like eel sauce... Their boom boom sauce is very good and goes very well with their fries. Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers can even make your burger naked (in a lettuce wrap) if you are watching your carbs. Went to eat there for dinner. Server dropped my burger on the ground. Did not pick it up. Left it there until I asked a manager to come pick it up. It took 10 minutes to get the order recooked. My dining companions had already finished their food by the time I got my food, and one of them had to climb over the spilled food just to get up from their seat. No apologies. They have some of the best burgers around. One of my favorite is Ancho BBQ burger. The fries are pretty good. And you can get a beer also.

This is the only burger place I go to. Everything is alway hot, fresh and full of flavor.
