Was in the area and we wanted a quick bite to eat. We saw this burger joint and after looking over the menu saw that they have something for all. There's plenty of parking which is always a plus for us. We came in and placed our order. I did notice while placing my order that they serve beer .We got our drinks and were seated. There was plenty of room to dine. Shortly, afterwards our meal was brought to us by our server. We ordered burgers and an impossible burger with a side of fried green beans. The food was delicious. I especially loved the fried green beans. Thanks!

    Our receipt

Wow was I disappointed. This used to be my favorite burger place but today was the worst experience we've had anyplace in a long time. I have photos but no place to post them. Our bill was $30 our fries were cold even though I ordered no salt fries how can that be cold? The burger bun was hard and stale it was gross. I'd ordered cheese sauce to dip my fries in and my husband went up to get it they twice tried to charge him for it and argued he had to come back to our table for the receipt while his food got colder finally they gave us a cup of curdled flavorless cheese. Also we'd talked about getting a shake we arrived at about 11:15 the person who waited on us said it wasn't up yet I work at a ast food place and was like what!!! It should be reasdy when you open. Of course i only thought this we didn't bother with that oh well less money spent. The ice tea lid was sitting near the food station not even on the tea. I have a photo of that the trash can area had dirty towels and a spray bottle of a chemical laying there it was gross. Sorry but man I doubt I'll be back sad about that but it's downhill. I will be posting this in other places as well.

    Southwest burger and Thai fries

Partner and I went on a day trip to Flint and decided to try this burger joint. It was really good! This is an order at the counter place and they bring out the food to you. I had the southwest burger which had avocado and a nice sauce, burger was a good size, not those flimsy McDonald's patties. The Thai fries were amazing, whatever the sauce is on those is super sweet and the tomatoes and Parmesan were such a contrast with it. Try it yourself!

They have some of the best burgers around. One of my favorite is Ancho BBQ burger. The fries are pretty good. And you can get a beer also.

We had some craft cocktails- the Pink Lady and the Pink Pedal. Both were tasty but I preferred the refreshing citrus in the pink pedal on a hot day. We ordered a charcuterie board w the whitefish dip for an appetizer and the beet salad and Mediterranean pizza for our meal. The board was just OK. Two types of cheese, two slices each; two types of meat; three slices of those. Honey mustard; jam; raisins and a few corn snacks. Not enough crackers (4) for what we had. The whitefish was already a $4 upcharge; and we asked for extra crackers, it was another $3 charge. Most folks don't eat whitefish dip straight so that was a miss in my opinion. A $24 appetizer is a lot. The beet salad was all arugula and pretty good with a tangy dressing. The pizza did not come with cheese; so that was another upcharge. And its topped with more tangy arugula so that's on us for not realizing how many greens we had ordered. The service was friendly and attentivefor the most part. We had hoped to order their cheesecake but the server got tied up with other tasks outside and we had a fixed time frame so by the time she came back we had to leave. Would I come back? Perhaps to sit at the bar and have some drinks and appetizers. I don't know that I would order meals again. Owners should pay attention to the nickle and diming as it does tarnish the experience. Pizzas by nature should come w cheese even if its optional. If you upcharge for dip on the board pay attention to what the patron might need w that additional item. $3 for some extra crackers to go w the dip is excessive.

Only had an appetizer and shared a entree as well. The cheese curds were just ok, Luke warm and served with a marinara sauce and ranch sauce. Just your average cheese curds. Ordered the Cuban sandwich, came out hot. That's the positive. Just a flavorless sandwich, needed something. The braised pork was lacking flavor. Normally it would come with waffle fries that are pretty good. They were out of waffle fries so it came with regular fries. They were cool and disgusting. Overall this was just an ok visit, and had we not been here before and know they can be good- probably wouldn't return based on this visit.

But as I've given this place multiple attempts- this last one being after new ownership, it literally has no redeeming qualities. First, the prices. Now I get in this economy everything is more expensive. But with that being said, a 1/4 lb burger is almost 17 dollars. The vast beer menu is great- but prices are not listed. And for good reason, the prices are higher than any other local bar in the area. A pint of a Michigan craft beer can easily run you 10 dollars. A pint. We had a party of 7 that came in after a funeral. There was one other larger party in here as well, but was relatively not busy. But a reoccurring theme here is they are never staffed properly. Our particular waitress was not only rude, but made us feel unwelcome. Our food? Well our food took over an HOUR to come out. The quality was subpar at best. If you're in the area, I'm sad to say this is pass. There are so many other restaurants in the area with better service, and food.

A pleasant surprise…read more About a week ago, I was out with my friends and we were looking for a chill place to just hang out and have a few drinks that wasn't too crowded when we happened upon this quiet little hangout rather by accident. For some reason, it seemed everyone in town was out that night and each one of our preferred watering holes was either too crowded or just felt meh to us. After meeting up in Flint Township after work, we were struggling to settle on an ideal, perhaps new, place that also served decent bar food, but was laid back and not filled with Nascar fans, dbags or overly drunk 21 year old girls. After ditching two other establishments because they were not our scene, we came across Vic's Place, quite by happenstance. Vic's Place was definitely the answer. Located around the back of the new Ruggero's location (with a separate bar entrance), Vic's was a nice, quiet alternative. It wasn't a lame sports bar or dive bar, just a quiet pub with good food and drinks. The food was quite good and the menu was fairly extensive, ostensibly because the food comes from the Ruggero's culinary team. After all, they are located within the same building. The food menu featured a lot of pasta dishes and specialty pizzas, as well as the basic tenets of bar food, namely burgers, sandwiches and deep fried appetizers. I split a ginormous order of loaded nachos, heavy on the traditional fixings with a pretty decent hot sauce on the side. My friend, Jen, ordered a personal margherita pizza and while I didn't sample her dish, it looked great, plus she said it was quite good and would order it again. Vic's had an extensive list of beers on tap, which I like in a bar, as well as a nice selection of craft beers. Draft beers came in two sizes- big and humongous. Guess which size I had. Anyway, the beer and wine lists were impressive and the cocktails, while they took a long time to hit the table, were fun, inventive and decidedly not on the weak side. The Old Fashioned was a good classic, strong, but subtle in all the right places. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. My friend, Jen, asked the bartender to "whip up something unique." She was not disappointed. Her nameless concoction was an ode to a Manhattan, but with a twist. I tried it and she was right- it was sublime. I liked the atmosphere. It was laid back and quiet, despite the fact that there were quite a few people in the place, seated up at the bar and at tables. The bar had a jukebox. That was kinda interesting. It wasn't something you see everyday. As for decor, there was a fire pit near our table and the bar was outfitted with a mix of high tops and low tables, with a slightly elevated seating area near the jukebox and the fire pit, which was where we were seated. Be careful when you step down or you'll trip, especially if you're a bit inebriated. The service was a little slow and it definitely took a little bit longer to receive our food than it probably would in a typical dive bar or a greasy spoon, but it wasn't that bad and there was only one bartender on duty pretty much the entire time we were there. Plus, the food was clearly quite a few notches above basic bar grub, anyway. Prices were on par with what one would expect. The draft beer specials were cheap and well worth the extra money to order the larger size draft. I will definitely be back. Our group came in with low expectations and left with any preconceived notions about the place completely shattered. Definitely a nice place for a quiet drink with friends after work or happy hour.

This would be a great place. The staff is great. The food is good and a decent selection of…read morebeers on tap. Here is the problem... the bartender gives this one Ding Dong at the bar the remote to the music and he cranks it so loud that you cannot talk to the person next to you. This probably isn't a problem at night but at 6pm when most of the clientele is over 60 and trying to eat dinner this doesn't go over too well.
