Food Review for Popeyes in Henrietta, New York I've had several good experiences recently at the Popeyes in Henrietta, and I wanted to make sure I shared that. I've found the service to be very respectful, courteous, and customer-friendly. I typically stop by fairly late in the evening, so I can't speak to what the experience is like during the day. However, during the evenings, it has been my experience that this location has done a very good job of hiring and stabilizing the evening staff. I've had five consistently good experiences in a row over the course of the past few months. Each time, the food has been hot and fresh, and my order has been accurate. I have not had to return because something was missing or incorrect. The bags have also had enough napkins, utensils, and the correct amount of sauces. I'm glad I feel comfortable coming back to this location again. I had avoided it for quite some time because the service and order accuracy had not been very consistent in the past. Came in for a super quick lunch in between some meetings! I ordered a chicken tender meal to share with family with mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw as sides. The service here was pretty good, but there was a long wait for my order which was hard because I was on a time crunch. The food was hot and delicious! I really liked the biscuit and the mash potatoes and gravy were great to dip the tenders into. Overall, a great lunch, but I wouldn't come here again on a time crunch. read more

Ordered food in drive thru. We are out of tenders can you wait 5 minutes? We said ok and we were instructed to drive around again and pick up in 5 minutes. While waiting we looked at our receipt. The $5 sandwiches were charged $6. The 2 sides for $5 were $3.99 each... I went inside and asked about it. The woman at the counter asked the drive thru guy what to do and he said give them an another side. I asked why I was charged more and with attitude i was told I needed to ask for the lower price. I asked "so you charge people the higher price if they don't ask for the lower one?" He said with attitude- you didn't ask and walked away...I asked for my money back and cancelled order. People have bad days and make mistakes, but predatory charging (stealing) shouldn't be a business practice. Impolite & poor customer service is your choice, but will hurt you in long run. Also, when multiple parties are involved and you have the ability to speak English you should do so if that is language they are speaking. Stopped for a quick bite in between appointments. Saw the wings and ordered the Garlic Parmesan. The wings are tiny,pigeon size. The sauce is drizzle over the wings, they had a little heat. The Mango Lemonade was good. Service was prompt and friendly. read more

I was at the Henrietta location yesterday and I have to say if you love you cars, bike, ankles don't go there. The parking lot has more pot holes than actual drivable blacktop. The owner of this franchise must be wanting a lawsuit for bodily injury bc you could trip and break your ankle or leg. They aren't little and shallow ,they are deep so deep you could probably make a koi pond in them. I have a nice SUV and I almost messed my cars undercarriage up. It's downright scary. Its ashame we love the food. Service was a little slow, But the upkeep of the outside is a mess, if you drive by when its closed it looks like they went out of business. Please fix the potholes and your whole outside and also take a look over inside as well. I've read the other comments and apparently they don't take these reviews seriously as others have complained about pretty much everything and the potholes and yet nothing is fixed and some of the comments were from years ago right on up to this year. I guess ill be going to the other chicken places across the street or around the corner where lots of fairly new places and your cars, trucks, bikes or legs and ankles won't be broken. For the second time in two months, I had the audacity to order chicken at a chicken place. For the second time in two months, after I paid, I was asked (nicely) to pull around and get back in line in 5 minutes because the chicken was being cooked. For the second time in two months, 35 minutes later, I was finally given my order. And, for the second time in two months, the order was wrong. My orders were not unique. One order was a 5 piece with two sides, and the second order was a chicken sandwich meal and three piece tenders meal. No substitutions, no deviations, no drama. Just chicken. It's a shame because my family and I LOVE Popeyes and we were so happy that one was built in our town. And the employees are SO nice and SO Very courteous. They're so nice that I can't even bring myself to complain to them that a 45 minute wait for a simple order is completely unacceptable, so I had to come onto Yelp and leave a scathing review. Very big fan of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, however not so much of this location on W Henrietta Rd. We went through the drive-thru and ordered a Original Chicken Sandwich which was cold to the touch and did not taste good, ordered the New Fried Pickles, these were luke warm not crunchy and were rubbery when eating them...ate one and spit it out. Also ordered a 3 piece chicken combo, the only thing good about this meal was the chicken. Service was very slow when ordering, and very disappointed in the location itself...parking lot was full of pot hole and trash stuck in the bushes very where around the building. Over the last 6 months I have seen everything drop in quality...service, cleanliness, attitude, food, food prep, planning...everything. They are always out of menu items that there should be plenty of (red beans and rice and other sides), soda fountain drinks. Long line for the drive through as time went on people kept driving off. When we got to the door the person on the microphone was talking to someone, and said one minute to who I imagine was us. Then pull forwards which we did. Then he went back to his conversation only to have the window be wide open and unmanned. Here's what I got for ignoring the low Yelp rating for this location (which we noticed but I dismissed as people's usual chain hating bias)... A 32 minute wait in a chaotic dirty dining room. The guy in front of us ordered for himself and 2 kids. After about 20 minutes he appeared to get his order but it turned out to just be HIS order, not the kids. He then proceed to wait another 10 or so minutes for 2 children's meals. For drive thru they took order after order sending cars around the corner of the building to park then every 10 minutes or so a giant set of orders would be carried out and hopefully distributed to idling cars. The dining room was completely trashed, all tables dirty, no napkins, the Coke Freestyle machine was down to about 3 base soft drinks and no favor add ons. It was busy but there were no buses, no minivans full of 8 people. It was just normal groups of 1-4 people. Truly, without dramatics, I think they should have locked the door today and at least have gotten caught up and/or called in the store manager, the assistant store manager and any other salaried sap who couldn't say no before opening up again. Okay, so there was a huge craze over the spicy chicken sandwich here. People were getting stabbed over it and whatnot. So, I patiently waited for the violence to die down, and went to try one today. To begin with, I was in and out of the drive thru in probably 90 seconds. Speedy service. The window girl was super nice and hooked me up with sauces expeditiously. $3.99 and tax. The sandwich? It was delicious. Slightly more spicy than I'd like, but still very yummy, and well worth the price tag for the volume of food. The piece of chicken was fried perfectly and very meaty, the bun was great, and the blackened ranch sauce was excellent. I don't usually like pickles at all and pick them out, but they actually complimented the sandwich nicely. I know this is a fast food restaurant but even for fast food it was subpar quality. The real disappointment however was not the food quality, But the total disregard for any of the current safety guidelines. There is a long line at the drive-through so I went inside to order. Workers were not wearing masks properly, The restaurant was dirty, and they were way too many customers inside with no social distancing. Nobody seems concerned about any of this. This was my first time going to any Popeyes, not just this one. I like fried chicken, I don't go maybe once a year t o get it. I usually prefer boneless fried chicken. You have the choice of either bone or boneless here but the problem is The boneless are really large (drumsticks kind of small like the tenders) and the boneless tenders are small and they cost the same price =/ i don't get it. What sense does that make. It is kinda pricey (for the tenders) We got 3 bone in pieces with a side of mashed potatoes and a drink for 10ish dollars. You can get spicy or plain, we got the spicy. It was good, I'm glad I went, but I won't be running back. Spiciness of the chicken got old after a while. I enjoy my fried chicken with honey mustard and they only have a spicy honey mustard which I didn't care for so i used plain honey. Oh and our meal came with a biscuit, yum! Every time I have been, they are out of something and it's always something basic. No soda (out of all flavors, "×we only have lemonade"). No fries. No chicken nuggets. This is the slowest and rudest Popeyes I have ever been to. I waited 15 minutes in a drive through line to be told I have to pull through the drive through again in 10 minutes.
