Let's start by saying they don't even deserve 1 star. This was the worst fast food establishment I have ever been to. I made an online order. Waited 10 min at the drive through speaker after they told me to wait. I told them I had a mobile order. They stated they didn't have what I already paid for. So I told them to double something else I had. I pulled forward they told me to pull in the front. I waited for 25 min before walking inside. When I made it inside to see where the order was, there was about 10 people all with problems, or waiting for their orders. It was dirty, employees were blaming things on each other in front of customers. It was in complete disarray. I tried to cancel but couldn't wait in the line that long. I hate to give a bad review to a business but this one deserves it. Jasper needs decent places to eat. It is extremely lacking in that area. The population needs to support new ones and quit going to the local overpriced buffet and stuffing their guts. It's bad enough to have no choices in town but when you go into a place you shouldn't have to listen to the manager and an employee have a fight in front of everyone. That's exactly what happened today, at Popeyes Jasper, at lunch. This was not just a passing argument, this was a full on verbal fight that went on the entire time I waited to place my order and after. I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering the general population of the town that fast food restaurants have to draw on for employees. Obviously neither the manager or the employee had any regard for the customers, their job or their own dignity. Take your discussions somewhere private. Went to Popeyes in Jasper, TX I ordered a 12 piece mix mild. They told me was going to be longer than 18 minutes for that. So I waited for the chicken. I asked for a drink while I wait I spent more than $35 dollars and I still couldn't get a drink. After I got my chicken I watched them put the old chicken in my box. I didn't know how old that chicken was and the fries were cold. For that amount of money I expected to get fresh chicken and fresh fries. After all I did wait for it I will not be coming back to this place at all. They have lost my business. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. Went through drive thru and ordered an 11 piece chicken (no special requests) and 2 sides with 5 biscuits and was told to pull around front and wait. After 30 minutes I went in and asked about my order. Was told they forgot and had no chicken to give me right now. I asked for a refund and manager told me they can't give a refund. So I had no choice but to wait until they had food. One hour!!!!!!!!! For chicken!!!!! Worse experience ever. I will be calling corporate to see about getting my money. First off we love Popeyes. Not so much on this trip. We ordered an eight piece spicy chicken dinner. When we got back to our campsite 20 miles away we found that they gave us chicken strips. We won't let it ruin our evening but it did not make us happy. Beware of fast food restaurants that cannot give you the order that you order. Very frustrating, especially when it is too far away to return. I am editing this to say the fries have been sitting for a while, the tenders taste dried out like they've been sitting for a while and the best thing we can report on is the red beans and rice, which taste like red beans and rice, yay! We feel like we should've taken a longer drive and gone to Louisiana. I hate it when Texas disappoints. read more

Stopped going several years ago because of bad service, orders being wrong and when I got raw chicken once I was done. Tried it 3 times over the past 2 months hoping things/management or whatever had changed. Orders are still wrong and staff is so extremely rude. Always have loved Popeye in Jasper Texas but not today. Placed an order for 2 3piece dinners spicy all breasts. They said there would be an upcharge for 2 of the breast. That's fine..We already knew that. They said to pull around front because it would be 9 minutes before the spicy would be done. In less than 5 minutes they brought out our order. Smelled so good on the way home. We live about 15 miles from the restaurant and we were starving. Dug in because we were hungry. After my husband started eating his he asked me if my chicken tasted right. I said I don't know because I was so hungry. We were not given spicy but mild instead. So I called back and the lady said to bring the 6 pieces back and she would replace them. We each had eaten 1 piece so she said she could only replace 4. Drove 15 miles to take it back.It seemed since it was their mistake she should have replaced 6 pieces. She said corporate would only allow her to replace what I brought back. She never apologized for the mistake they made and was very rude. I told her I was going to call corporate and her answer to me was go ahead. I asked her what her name was and she said Tonia. I used to love Popeyes chicken with or without bones, mild or hot. In the last year I have changed to Churches Chicken. Popeyes chicken is sometimes barely warm and dried out. The place is still fairly busy, but I think it's the name. Popeyes used to be the number one place to go to. Today not so much. Too many other choices even in a small town like Jasper. The heavy set shift super needs an attitude adjustment. When the place was full someone from the back office asked her a question. Instead of going to address him out of ear shot, she just yelled over her shoulder. Will I eat there again? Nope read more
