If I could leave a zero I would. We placed an order online to pick up about an hour ahead of time. When we arrived we were told they did not have everything that we ordered but that they could substitute something else that we agreed on. In the meantime there were 10 or 12 cars that came through and got their food. That's not really why I was so upset. It was the attitude of the employee when she came back to tell us that she had given the items to someone else and we would have to wait another 15 minutes to get out order that we had already paid for. The management on duty didn't seem to know or didn't listen when I said I was using my rewards for payment and rang up a total with payment due. When they finally got me to the window they pulled the ol' "pull forward and we'll bring it out" and I waited almost 10 more minutes. It's sad to see so many terrible reviews of this location, when my husband & I have been to this location 4 times in the last month and we've always had a pleasant experience. We sat in the lobby for lunch 3 times and went through the drive through for another time. Each time, we've always gotten fresh, hot food. The chicken is always cooked perfectly, juicy, & steaming hot. Our sides are always made right. The employees are patient and kind, and even apologized for missing our desert one time, & got it out to us quickly, even adding an additional desert free of charge for the inconvenience. The lobby is always very clean & quiet. The employees seem to enjoy working there as they're always laughing in the back, making it a pleasant experience as a customer to see and hear folks having a good time, instead of being hateful. The one time we went through the drive, it moved relatively quickly and we were in and out in under 15 minutes. As someone who has worked food service for many years, it does no good blaming a location or it's employees for being out of items. Seriously. They just work there. Crappy day at Popeyes Went for lunch @ 1:30, no one else in dinning room, I ordered their 10 pc special, for $30.00. Asked if chicken was fresh, was told it was, NOT! Chicken was overcooked, told mgr, she could care less. Never asked if order was for here or to go, everything was shoved into one box and left sitting on the counter waiting for ONE biscuit, just got colder. This was on a Friday, asked to speak to the manager, she wasn't there and wouldn't be back until Monday. Spoke to asst mgr or whoever she was and again couldn't care less, threw her hands up in the air and said, sorry you had a bad experience. Wound up throwing $30.00 worth of food in the garbage. I have eaten at Popeyes for over 30 years, worst experience i have ever had, both with the food and staff. I would go on with my experience but it wouldn't do any good, I can't even get a return phone call from customer service. This is how we received one of our sides. I called the manager. She said and I quote "The girl in the kitchen said it was full when it left the store". Rude, not helpful and not at all how I expected to be treated. Two things, it was spoiled and it was half empty. This is immediately upon opening it out of the bag. This is the worst Popeyes ever. 3 trips here over last 2 months and could not fill a family order because they were out of something....mild, or out of breasts, or only had wings and thighs....sorry excuse for a chicken place. If I could give zero stars, I would. my father went here for lunch & was treated so poorly by the whole staff. He waited an hour for his 2 chicken sandwiches because they "didn't have any chicken ready". Meanwhile, others in line after him were getting their chicken sandwiches in a timely fashion. I believe it was because of his Trump shirt he was wearing, because the woman at the window looked down at his shirt & gave him a dirty look, right before telling him they didn't have any chicken ready. Most Popeye's have a pretty good menu offering to fit your needs but there are exceptions. In this store the menu is VERY limited, if you want something that shown as being offered in this stores online menu, well you better order online because they will not allow you to buy it in the store. I can order a 3 piece dinner (not combo) on line and pick it up without a problem, but if I try and order the same thing in the store, they tell you they don't offer that menu item, they only offer combo meals. How can I get an item by ordering online and pick it up but I can't order the same item in the store? Won't be going back to this Popeye's. read more

On 21 sep 2019 i went to the new store in Pace Fl. Ordered inside. A customer that had previously left with his order returned stating that they had given him the wrong order. Mary the Co-Manager took the chicken that was wrong and RETURNED it to the unserved chicken. THIS WAS AFTER HE HAD LEFT THE BUILDING, AND RETURNED. I couldn't believe that she did this. When i went to get my order I brought this to her attention. She denied doing it. I then told her I wanted my money back. lied and rude. This is a time when we must all be careful in what we do. This was my first visit to this new location and I wasn't super impressed. I ordered through the drive through getting their current special and when I arrived at the window, nothing. This Popeyes in Pace is probably the worst for fast food. We have been to quite a few locations on the Gulf Coast. This location keeps raising their prices and does not have many sides to choose. Being my first time going and this being a newer location than the ones I went to I decided to give them a try. I should of went with my first mind and went elsewhere. They where not busy as usual so I did receive my food in drive thru in a timely manner. But once i got my items I was disappointed, my tenders where small and cold and I ordered red beans and rice as my side. It might as well been just called beans, literally was no rice in there and plus it was basically a empty container. Been to plenty Popeyes in my lifetime but this has been the worst food quality wise, if you going to give out cold small pieces of chicken at least give an extra piece or something. Called in a pick up order on a Saturday evening, was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I arrived to pick up my order they told me it would be another 20 minutes, so I agreed to wait in my vehicle. They told me to pick up my order thru the drive thru since they were going to be closing the lobby soon, it wasn't even 8 pm yet and they stay open till 10pm??? Waited the 20 minutes, pulled in the drive thru and waited in the drive thru behind 3 cars for another 15 minutes. When I get to the window to get my order they tell me that it's going to be another 15 minutes !! Inform me they only have spicy chicken, so they basically gave my chicken that I ordered well over an hour ago to others in the drive thru. I ask them why have I been waiting so long and would they wait over an hour for fried chicken. The older woman replies with well your getting fresh chicken.... Corporate really needs to do a clean up with the employees, especially the evening shift and weekend night shift. For this being a fairly newer Popeyes it's horrible !!! We went through the drive through and ordered two spicy chicken sandwich meals, 2 large fries, and an additional spicy chicken sandwich. We got home and started to open the plastic bag when we noticed a red substance resembling blood on the outside of the bag. We looked through the rest of the food and the paper bag that had our sandwiches in it also had blood all over the outside of the bag. We drove back to Popeyes and asked to speak to a manager. She rudely replied that she was one of them, so we proceeded to tell her that we had blood all over our bags. She spoke to another manager in the kitchen who was cooking and all she was worried about was making us a reorder. We replied no, we wanted our money back instead. Thinking that everyone has a bad day, we returned for our 4th visit to this location. Popeyes products are delicious so you would think that management and service would be somewhat consistent. Not the case with the Pace, FL location. The last 2-times we visited was around 3:30 PM when there is little traffic. This time I placed the order at the counter for "SPICY" chicken. They took my $28 dollars and 15-minutes later informed me that they did not have "enough" spicy chicken to fill my order and that it would be another 12-minutes for a fresh batch to be available. This is a common occurrence at this location. Slowest service on the planet. NEVER have sufficient product. Here is the best part. Manager Mary was angry when I asked for my money back! She has been there on all 4-occasions I tried and is always a rude bitch! Avoid this location. Went down the street to KFC and had a perfect order. Total time in the store at KFC was 9-minutes. Friendly professional staff! I'm not sure if the Pace Popeyes is corporate or a franchise but someone needs to fire Mary and get a crew in place that knows what they are doing. Never again!!!
