First time trying this place. Most likely the last time too. Seems like this place is always busy I am shocked it is because the food is not good. I got fajitas, they were like eating grilled chicken with fried onions no fajita taste at all. They had a lot of grease and no flavoring. Have a good amount toppings. My mom tried a taco, which was $5.25, it was so soggy they put in a closed container which the heat just made it one blob of a mess! The meals my parents got both were soggy and they did not enjoy it. A bag of chips that they make and the bag was getting all greasy. A small side of salsa. I asked for more the guy that brought it out have a small 2oz maybe even 1 oz of it! That's ridiculous. When I went in to pick up the food the atmosphere was bright and it was someone's birthday they brought out sparklers and played music. For the money spent and everything being soggy or no flavor I don't understand why it was so busy.. 2 stars because they do give a good amount of food if only it was good!! Took my family to Pedro's today at 1:15 pm to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We have dined here before and the food was pretty good, but I doubt I will ever eat here again. I ordered the Nacho Loco dinner with chicken, steak and shrimp. The first bite of nachos and a piece of steak was terrible - the steak was extremely tough to chew and tasted strange - I removed it from my mouth to check it out, and to me it looked like a piece of fried vein or artery, about the size of your index finger (know what these look like as I have butchered a cow before). Let our server know about this problem, and what I thought this item was, and that there were more pieces in my dinner. She stated that she had no idea what it might be, and she would take it to the kitchen and find out if they knew. She returned to our table, stating that no one in the kitchen had any idea what this stuff might be, and gave me a bowl of fresh steak pieces to add to my Nacho Locos, which had pieces of this "so called meat" in it. They never offered to replace my dinner, or even pro-rate my meal when it came time to pay. My wife and I decided not to make a scene, as we were not going to let this ruin my daughter's birthday meal as she was having a good time. Why would we ever eat at this restaurant again where the staff and the cooks have no idea what they are cooking and serving in their meals, and don't seem to care. read more

Every time my husband I go we sit at the bar and receive stellar service. Anytime we sit at a table, service is awful, waitstaff is rude, disappears. I truly don't understand it. Food is always good. Restaurant is always clean and beautifully decorated. read more

We stopped in for dinner and drinks, the top shell pitcher was really good and strong. I ordered the puff taco and really didn't care for it. My husband had the fish tacos. He said they were just okay. The charro beans were flat and watery. The chips and salsa tasted fresh and crispy. Our service was awesome. I think we will be visiting again, and I hope to find something better to eat next trip! read more

My family has visited Pedro's 3 times. Today, March 30, 2025, I had a random charge for $12 on my credit card. I then discover a Facebook post made by Pedro's claiming that they had a problem with their tip processing from November until today and that those charges that customers were seeing now were for tips tt that weren't processed. I went back and reconciled by credit card statement and each amount charged to my credit card INCLUDED the tip. So you're telling me that whomever is responsible for balancing your books didn't catch this problem before now? GTFOH!! Terrible business practice! read more

Huge building with lots of seating inside and out. Decor is nicely done. We have only been twice, both times for Taco Tuesday. $1.99 tacos are not a bad deal. Service was nice and fast. Lunch for 2 for $13 is a good thing sometimes. We thought the food was good for the price. Overall, would continue to go on Tuesdays. read more

Went in for lunch, just before 1, wasn't busy, Sat down, I went to wash my hands, went into larger stall, NO TOILET PAPER, in either side, looked at menu, ordered, asked for napkins, they only give you one, w silverware,but I am dressed up in a dress, and I always want a napkin for my silverware to lay on, NOT THE TABLE, And one for my lap, as not to mess up my outfit, I am going other places afterwards. Again asked for napkins, long story short, a total of 4 times I asked for flipping napkins, 3 times w waitress, one from food runner, and she finally brings me ,SMALL COCKTAIL. NAPKINS, THAT isn't going to work for me!! So finally track her down, ask for a larger napkin and she says they don't have any?? Huh, I also asked for hot sauce, well she forgot that also. She did bring me some sort of large white paper napkin, so that I was happy for...food was warm at best...bland, that is why I needed the hot sauce. I don't eat out much anymore, because it is JUST NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE, PRICES, and NO SERVICE. WILL NOT BE BACK.....eating out is just not fun, or enjoyable anymore. Oh and my plate was swimming in some sort of huge oil slick. They also charge more for CC, so keep that in mind. read more

Extremely disappointed by their deceptive menu. I was glad to see they had some dishes listed as vegetarian, then disgusted to learn they use lard (pig fat) in their beans and refried beans. None of their vegetarian dishes were actually vegetarian. When we told them, they didn't really care and just brushed us off. This could make people sick or break religious customs. If you can't eat pig/pork/meat due to allergies, moral/ethical, religious, diet, etc... BEWARE!!!!! It looked nice inside and had a cute swing in the front for ambiance. What a great addition to the Pace area. The parking lot has been packed since it opened just 12 days ago so there's a market for a large Mexican restaurant that serves alcohol. We arrived as a party of 4 and were immediately seated. They had many servers rushing around but it took a minute to get our drink orders. Food didn't take long once we placed our order. We had chips and excellent salsa to tide us over. The enchiladas, tacos and tostada were all very good. While it's not a quiet place or anything, it'd be great for a big group celebrating something. It came to my attention that the waitress is charged for food that is sent back whether it's her fault or the kitchen's fault it doesn't matter. She gets charged either way. We waited a while before a waiter came along. Food arrived pretty quickly, but while one of us got piping hot food, the other was served a cold, almost tasteless burrito and runny beans. The bean dip was decent, but the sweet tea was not. Too many other good Mexican places around to ever need to come back here. PS - live music was awful. Came in and ordered food, food was back within ten minutes, which if you're ordering enchiladas, not the *best* sign. It tasted like they dumped Velveeta cheese all over the enchilada and it was so gross. They weren't even cooked in the sauce, looks like they poured enchilada red sauce over the tortillas. Obviously wasn't expecting anything authentic, but this restaurant is about as white as it gets when it comes to Mexican food. Oh, and including bringing the food out in ten minutes, the plates were so freaking hot I burned my fingers along with my husband. My husband and I stop passed the one in Pace Florida after house hunting on January 3,2024. Our server was Ava W we were Table 10 station Pos7. Anywho Ava W service was superb very attentive but not over baring, knowing when to come and what to suggest. I truly enjoyed her and will request her upon return.
