The food is not bad. The service is horrible. The attitude of the workers are completely ridiculous. I guess if they wouldn't be so high at work, they could understand playing English'. I ordered a four piece with a side of red beans and rice. I also ordered a three-piece tender meal with macaroni and cheese and a side of mashed potatoes. I got to my house. They gave me three wings in a box and they charged me separately for the chicken and the tenders. I went back. The manager wanted to argue with me like she was a toddler so I left the chicken over there. No I didn't get my order made and yes they got $25 worth of food off of me and I didn't eat it but at the end of the day that's them they got a little live with the fact that they're stealing from their own community. read more

I ordered on the app 2-2 piece chicken that comes with two sides and a biscuit. I requested a breast and a thigh in each box. I do not have a car and I live 18 miles away from your store. My grandson was going into town so I asked him to pick it up for me. When I received it, I had one box that had a breast and a wing. I had four sides three biscuits and that was it. I called your store. The manager was very rude from the beginning in fact, put me on hold without even telling me she was putting me on hold and didn't come back to me which I had to call back. Which made me pretty upset then she told me not to be rude to her that she does not have to listen to me that she would not give me a new order, but I could come and pick up the two pieces of chicken. I told her where I lived then I asked for her manager's number because I was getting pretty upset. She refused to give me her manager's number and she saying things off the wall so I don't know if there was somebody there she was trying to impress, but eventually she hung up on me. read more

The food was great but the window attendant shoved my food to me and while I was asking her a question, she slammed the window shut. She did not talk to we before or after she handed me my food. She ope the window, shoved my food out and shut the window. No greeting and she shut window as I was asking questions. Management is horrible, don't ever buy a gift card or get gifted with a gift card their machine don't even read gift cards.. What kind of establishment sell gift cards for money and you can't even use the gift cards in the restaurants. Will not go there again. Last two times went to drive thru and orders were screwed up. Did not notice until got home. Today tried the one in Pineville, it was even worse, If you can believe it. They got order wrong from the start. They charger me for stuff I didn't get and I had to have them correct order 3 times before I drove off and once home I noticed there was coleslaw instead of mashed potatoes and my order was mild instead of spicy, if I wanted mild chicken I would go to churches chicken. And to top it off the girl was very unfriendly and rude. I will take the coleslaw back tomorrow and speak to manager. read more

This Popeyes in Alexandria/Pineville area has some of the poorest management I've ever experienced! We went through the drive-through and ordered a late lunch. After forgetting the apple pies we ordered we went back to the window and noticed one of our sandwiches was made incorrectly. The manager argued that it was made correctly. I had to explain again that it was not it had mayonnaise and pickles all over it and it was supposed to be plain. Then she insisted it must've been rang up incorrectly, we wouldn't know we never got a receipt. Upon returning with the sandwich, she said it was rang up correctly. However, she apologized for her mistake in making the order or for being rude about the whole situation. We politely asked for some napkins because none were in our bag, again the response from her was rude; an eyeroll and 2 napkins! 2 napkins for 3 meals with greasy chicken with fries and 2 apple pies! Now she was being rude and petty, definitely not setting a good example for her team! We will not be back to Popeyes! # read more

I am a government food facility manager trained in customer service and food prep for food services in Popeyes, Starbucks, toco bell, and Charley's subs. From my own experience as a food service manager. I can in fact say that this store is run poorly. Bathrooms were the first areas I visited. They had broken toilet paper holder where you had no choice but to touch the whole roll in order to get toilet paper. Which means that I had cross contamination of germs from other customers who had no choice but to touch either. The water from the faucet was cold and smelled sour, the bathroom was unkept and you could tell that an employee rarely visited it to clean it. Second was the food. The food was not hot and taste like it was old. The biscuits were dry and the fries were stale. Not great food at all. My kids and myself didn't finish it. 3rd thing I noticed was the employee with saggy pants that showed his underwear. On his pants and the rest of his clothes were floury hand prints. I was highly disgusted because from my experience as a manager. That means the employee was touching his clothes whilst on the job. Which are means for immediate training and paper work. We have aprons to prevent employees and ourselves from being able to touch on our clothes. His baggy pants obviously were so saggy that he more than likely had the natural urge to pull them up whilst cooking. I talked to the manager on duty and she explained that they have a washing procedure that they practice. She explained that they sometimes will rub on their clothes after doing battering and will wash their hands and change their gloves before returning to work. But from my own experience as a Popeyes manager. That clothes touching is unacceptable period point blank. If my crew and myself were able to come out from cooking with clean clothes and no hand prints on our butts. Surely they would be able to. I don't recommend this resturant to be ate at considering that the manager wasn't practicing the proper training procedures with the employees and did not immediately confront the employee to correct his uniform. I would fear that people would end up sick here from cross contamination due to the fact that the employee more than likely kept pulling his pants up whilst cooking customers' food. read more

Went to the drive thru just a bit ok to get the new chicken sandwich, not impressed with the service nor sandwich. The server on the drive thru needed help (and non-blue hair) because she kept having to pause on my order to talk to customers at the window. I attempted to order 2 Classic and 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, fries and a sprite for supper; my wife, daughter and I. We drove home and looked in the bags. Three Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, no Classic. Well, my daughter has to eat cereal now because she can't handle spicy food. I've tried to call for the past 20 minutes; however, the phone is busy. I am not asking for a refund nor seeking any compensation. I simply want to tell them of the error and to check what they are serving to their customers. I know that they are going to complain about being underpaid and I shouldn't be so upset. Ok, they are underpaid (ha)...but customers like me are paying for their underpaid checks!
